no, that's the multitasking view. iOS still can't do split apps. thanks, i wanted to confirm if you knew what you were saying. DeanOlamide: |
i think there should be a distinction when comparing iPhones with android makers or iOS with android. We must remember that every apple chip was at a point in time released as a flagship and hence the reason for its long software support, unlike Android that caters to different price points down to the lowest entry barrier. So, it's only fair to compare iPhones to flagship Android devices before making a conclusion. eg: take the iPhone 13 and Samsung S21 and use a basis for comparison, so when one comes out and condemns Android based on past experience , i usually ask what device was used prior to switching to iPhone. And frankly, the two level Android makers currently that fits the bill for comparison, with all due respect to tecno for their work, is Samsung (Flagships, not midranges like A series and below) and Google Pixels. Then comes Honor(and Huawei before their issue with us govt), but they have limited visibility here. Every other Android maker is a level below. Apple has the advantage of synergy because they produce and sell their own. Android is open sourced making it difficult for chip makers to optimize their chips for a specific device and selected range of devices. I know Samsung has their own chips but it's still going to take time for them to level up with Apple bionic chipsets. Google is the closest competitor and perhaps Android's hope to close that gap with their upcoming Tensor chip. I don't expect the numbers to rival apple, but what i want is to see how closely the sum of parts interact with each other seamlessly just as how Apple's done it. My close encounter with pixel 5 gives me hope. So it's basically time wasting to argue which is better than the other given they come from different foundations. I use both devices and i can appreciate their strengths when it comes to specific tasks i want to carry out. P.S. the myth that android phone lags should be banished. Yes, it will lag if you buy a mid-low range android, but flagship Androids have gotten better and there's barely lags from my S10. Apple too does lag here and there but their smooth animations cover up for it. think of Android like a windows computer - you have to cater for it periodically- meaning android gives you full control. Apple controls it's product and gives you the experience it thinks is best for its users. if you're looking for the closest apple like experience on android, then google pixel is your best bet. watch out for the pixel 6. |
Bloomfrancs5:u got to shed more light on this. Can you run two apps divided on your screen at the same time? i know it's possible with iPads but haven't seen that with iPhones. |
YourFavorite21:lord knows I’ve tried with the customization aspect. To have beautiful wallpapers and not be able to arrange your icons so that the wallpaper can shine is a buzz kill. ios is good and has its strengths but waking everyday to the homescreen is depressing; even with the widgets which still can’t be placed anywhere. In the end we all adapt to how apple sees fit |
like we are supposed to be grateful for that? ![]() |
Good evening Op, stumbled upon the thread and it's insightful and refreshing. Now i got a target to achieve before the year ends with this bomb you're dropping. Thanks for the knowledge. |
Jury is still out on Apple Music tho

unbitchable:midget that hopped, grabbed the mic and made a public promise to bring the ucl to camp nou only to be disgraced season after season until he ran away leaving the club empty. Where is the love? isn't it supposed to be ride or die? "Mes que un club" like y'all always preach? |

only thing that can replace him is change. Anyone is replaceable, people only need some adjusting to after long periods of getting used to something. |
The new Microsoft edge with Ad-blocker and that’s speed. Even Safari on my mobile coupled with ad-blocker is speedy enough. |
wiseone28:it’s obvious they lack strikers instinct in the box. Had they got Ronaldo… |
Hope Messi fans are calm now and would like mbape cos he was the one who gave the assist. Great goal from Messi too |
The way Messi fans for here just dey hate on Mbape despite the fact say Neymar dey play rubbish. |
Kingcalls:facts |
Kingcalls:hehe...true though. they want to transform psg to the modus operandi of how barca was when Messi was there. They mad Mbape won't bow down to no one and ever since have began hating on him. |
airing twice a week slapped the taste out of my mouth ![]() |
babatee90: you no lie |
even his face is a lie cos i bet he tells himself he looks good in the mirror when it's a lie. Why public office holders gotta lie foolishly? ![]() |
Kingcalls:I love that Ronaldo line . Better agidi cos sometimes I wonder how he scored in that team filled with low to average players. |
Rupertek:I’m team Ronaldo but i feel it’s too early to judge. Messi ought to do well, maybe not as magical as he was at Barcelona, but given the strength of the French league he should be more than capable. Let’s just give him time as it’s his first time outside home. |
You Messi fans have transferred to Psg to cause them troubles. They were doing just fine before he came you know. Allow them be and let Messi assist to a new life. Barca is old news now |
There's always a logical explanation for Messi's shortcomings by his fans who just need to know when black is black and white is white. Plain truth what he did was wrong, but he is entitled to his anger given he's a great player. But it's also Pochentino's duty to save himself and the team by taking risk which eventually worked in his favor. I can't slander Messi for not scoring for now cos eventually the goals will come, but at least he's having a sense of what it feels like to be in a different terrain. |
barca fans don carry their wahala come psg. Given Messi's status it's a poor game and that didn't help given the fact that ronaldo has scored 3 goals already for manutd, but understand he's still settling. it'll be wishful thinking for barca fans to think it'll be the same as it were in Barca. Psg is a team filled with stars in their own equal rights so don't expect the reverence Messi enjoyed at Barca to be what it'll be at Psg. Ronaldo suffered same at Juve who didn't even have stars but still were oblivious to the fact that day had a weapon in their midst. |
Alejandrah:isn't it the same for ronaldo? when he does something there's always a but to it coming from opposing fans. now we measure what type of goal should be scored and how we get to appreciate it rather than seeing the goal for what it is- a goal. fanboys will be fanboys |
TheN1:They've perfected the perfection of the art of marketing. Absolute minimal increments the past few years, and it's becoming cliche to always brag about having the fastest mobile chip and yet deny the phone some features the other OS enjoys. 13 is basically 120hz display as its major highlight for me cos battery increase is always expected in newer iterations of devices no matter the os; but 120hz is what we've been hoping for a while now and Apple still had to fragment it for the PRO'S only- So what's the power of the chip doing? Speaking of chip, there's minimal increase between last year and this, but i'm not complaining. Apple knows how to optimize its product so i barely feel like my old iPhone is slow. I bet next year Apple is going to give its users always on display for us to wow at. Well in the end, we users take comfort using Apple knowing that everything works well within its ecosystem and that for majority is everything. |
Clemcy774:nah....follow the patterns- berlin's death, nairobi's and now tokyo's. What do they have in common? detailed flashbacks about their pasts and hints of goodbyes in their final scenes. She died! |
damn statistics really got them Messi fans all worked up. Even CR7 fans no full this thread ![]() |
It’s not like Juve really did accord him with respect ever since he came. They pin their failure on him like he’s the reason they flopped, saying his wage is holding them back; didn’t they do their finances before buying him? He’s Ronaldo, he isn’t supposed to come cheap. Then you have Juve legends and part presidents coming out to say he’s holding the team back despite the glaring issues in the squad, why won’t he leave abruptly. There are rumors Allegri wanted Ronaldo out too before taking the job and wanted to focus the team on other players. So i don’t know what they whining for, he’s gone like they wanted. Let him be. |

abeg Samsung or Oppo na d best.
