There is absolutely no big deal with changing gears in traffic if you learnt to drive Manual cars. Infact, you can change gears with your eyes close and unconsciously if you have been driving manual for over 3 months.

See most of you that learned to drive Automatic without learning to drive Manual first always come with these kinds of crappy talk.
If you go to driving school, they will advise you to learn to drive Manual instead of automatic. E get why.
They use Manual to teach you how to drive.

The reason is that when you use a Manual car, you are learning to "Drive a Car" .
But when you use an Automatic car, you are learning to "Move a car".

My neighbor had a terrible experience some years back. His wife was in labour at midnight and needed to rush to the hospital.
His automatic car couldn't start. I had travelled when he called for help. I told him to go collect my car keys and drive his wife to hospital. Lo and behold, he only knew how to drive Automatic and my car then was Manual. It was then it dawn on him that he did not actually know how to drive but only knew how to move an automatic car.

Go back and learn how to drive using a Manual drive which would give you an advantage of being able to drive both automatic and manual.

My dear brother, let me give you the honest truth.
When you compare owning a Manual and Automatic car and you put the pros and cons against each other, believe me Manual car are at advantage.
The only advantage of Automatic over Manual is that you don't need to change gears, just put your leg on acceleration and drive.

But comparatively, Manual cars are at advantage than Auto.
I speak from experience because I own both Manual and Automatic cars and I drive the two car week in week out. Anytime, I feel more at home with the Manual.

1. If you learn to drive Manual car, you can easily drive an Automatic without going to learn. But if you learn to drive Automatic first, you won't be able to drive Manual unless you learn afresh.
2. Manual cars don't have gear box issues. Gear box complications with Automatic cars can be frustrating.
3. Manual cars are easier and cheaper to maintain and less cumbersome than Automatic.
4. When you have key starter or battery issues with Manual cars, you can easily push and start the car. You can't do so with automatic cars.
5. In situation of break failures, it is far easier to control a manual car than an automatic. Simply change gear from high to low gear in manual and the car responds faster. But that is not so in automatic.
6. With a Manual car, you are more in control of the car than in Automatic. Manual gives you power behind the wheel which the Automatic doesn't.

Forget the talk of Manual being hard to drive. I tell you very well, those saying such thrash only know how to drive Automatic, they can't or have not driven manual. Ask anyone that has driven both manual and automatic, they will tell you that the only advantage Automatic has over manual is that you don't need to change gears and it is easier in traffic. Aside that, manual cars are far more advantageous than Automatic.
I have given you the advantages above.

This message is misleading. First of all the location of building the bungalow should be mentioned with the cost. If it is Lagos especially on the Island where you have to do a raft foundation, #30m won't be enough.

Secondly the design of the house is another factor. If it is a simple design,the cost will be less, if is a more complex design, the cost will be more.

Another factor is the class and choice of finishings
Are you going to use PVC or POP.
Are you going to use Nigerian made tiles or imported tiles Are you going to screed the walls or just paint?
Are you going to use emulsion paints or satin and other more expensive paints?

Prices differ according to Location. Also some Masons might try to play smart of you don't know much .

I live in Abuja, and I built a 3 bedroom flat in Abuja last year.
For most block work (including Lintel), they charge per block. Usually N100 or N120 per block, OR alternatively daily pay of N10, 000 or N12,000 for Mason and N5000 for Bricklayer. However, N100 or N120 per block is for both Mason and labour.

If you are doing Lintel work, it involves Mason, Labour and Carpenter. You will need to buy woods for the carpenter to come and board the lintel first before the masons do their work.
The total cost of finishing a Lintel work will vary largely according to the structure of the building and how you want the structure fortified. Some people will prefer chained lintel which is more expensive . Some will want half Lintel. And other people that want to manage cost will opt for makeshift lintel block to save cost

JAMB has minimum cut off mark.
If you don't meet the cut off mark, they don't give you JAMB Admissions Letter.
You don't have JAMB Admission letter and you are given admissions in any University, you are on your own. Na wasted University years be that, because you won't be cleared or proceed to NYSC without Jamb Admission Letter.

Please,matured minds in the house,is it a good thing for a man to help his ex girlfriend who's now married, financially. She used to be someone whom I loved so dearly in the past but unfortunately,she broke up with me immediately she met someone who was already asking her hand in marriage. It's been over 3 years since she got married and I made sure I cut every bit of communication between us. Out of the blue,I don't know who gave her my number. Secondly, there is absolutely nothing wrong in helping your Ex if she is in need and reaches out to you OR you feel led to do so.
