Ok. At what price are Nigerians still buying Fuel?? Has the price gone down below N1000 per litre yet? Why should we celebrate Dangote or PH refinery if we are still paying more for PMS ![]() There was so much hype about Dangote refinery and how it was supposed to be the game changer that will ensure steady supply of fuel and crash in pump price. Alas, Dangote Refinery came along and the reverse was the case - with spike in pump price amidst controversies. It was far from expectations as Nigerians were made to pay even higher despite products being refined locally and costs reduced. Now it is PH Refinery being touted as the game changer to crash price and ensure only God knows what in the Petroleum sector!!!! The dominant question is : Why are Nigerians being forced to buy fuel over N1000/ per litre even when the products are refined locally? There is no way fuel should cost more than N500 per litre in Nigeria given that we have the crude and we are refining locally. Infact, if govt want to decide to refine crude and sell PMS at N300 per litre, it can. But some wicked criminals in govt want to milk Nigerians and won't allow that to happen. The fact remains that Nigerians are being scammed by both Dangote and the FG. |
PressMyButton:Brainless Dimwit asslicker. How dare you align Tinubu with God? |
Did you ask if: 1. Narenda Modi was imposing all manner of endless Taxes on the people of India after removing fuel subsidy? 2. Did you ask AI if Narenda Modi gave a timeline with which he will use monies he will derive from subsidy removal to achieve economic benefits and was accounting for the monies utilized? 3 Did you ask AI if Narenda Modi was using monies derived from Subsidy removal to buy Presidential Jets and fleet of luxurious cars or use the monies to service himself and his family? Op both you and AI are werey trying to compare ogbologbo Ole with modi |
DuttyChuks:Has he won you? It is easier for him to win those closer to him than those far off to him. So pls make yourself available to be won. Give your life to Christ. |
Is it not Wike? He will blame everyone and everything except himself. Wicked Wike had long overtaken El - Rufai as the most treacherous Politician presently in Nigeria. Both men can sell their mothers for personal gains and scatter same gain if it doesn't serve their interest. |
I am just laughing at the posts. Trouble dey sleep, yanga wan go wake am. Tinubu became president, Yoruba agberos flooded Abuja and running things. Abuja like Lagos is No man's land, so it is okay. Make Dem no extend their idiocy to other parts of the country o. |

While it is acceptable to Fail and keep on trying until you succeed, but where subscribers and business partners invest their trust in your business, you must do everything to maintain the trust reposed on you to deliver. That is very paramount. Some Nigerians had lofty hopes and subscribed to TSTV but their hopes were dashed. If the owners of TSTV are launching a new brand, there is need to first repose public trust and confidence if their new brand will gain any market patronage. In other words, their first target should be the subscribers of TSTV to be onboarded to LUFT TV. Their testimonies are what will sell LUFT TV to the Nigerian public. Anything other than that, LUFT tV will be perceive to be another sham and scam in the eyes of Nigerians. By the way, Nigeria is the biggest Market in Africa and Nigerians are very keen and will support and subscribe to anything that will break Multi choice Monopoly and exploitation in Nigeria. We are all waiting to see if LUFT will bring much needed competition in the pay TV market. |
Awon werey ass-licking psychophants. Some Nigerians are shamelessly sick. Tinubu is doing exceedingly well indeed. May Tinubu forever happen to your generations. Oloshi |

Another Wizkid mumu topic have found its way to front page again this early morning. Which Moderator is having a severe hangover and pushing these posts to frontpage to ease his pains? I don't know why Seun is keeping some of these Mods. Fire them or cut their pay by half for the shoddy jobs they are doing. ![]() The firing should start with Mod with "M". |
Mumu post. Too many teenagers on Nairaland hyping nonsense and some confused Mod will push these nonsensities unto Front page and into our faces. I don't see any full grown man or woman above 25yrs that will be fighting over small money miss road riff - raff like Wizkid. How do people even make some irresponsible delinquents who have children from different mamas as their role models? By the way, this silly beef between Wizkid (abi na foolishkid) and Davido looks more like Ronaldo and Messi beef. Just as Ronaldo is seeking attention while Messi is doing his thing without having Ronaldo time, is the same way Wizkid is seeking attention while Davido doesn't have his time. Wizkid will continue to be a kid and behave like one until the day he removes Kid from his yeye name. |
The Country is now on Full Auto pilot and heading to head-on collision. The President is AWoL, the Vice President is AWoL. They have destroyed the country and running away one by one. Awon werey in power. |
While commending the economic reforms of Tinubu, he said that the best economic reform Nigeria ever undertook was the reform of 2003 to 2007 The Vice President who acknowledged this in his address at the opening of the Nigerian Economic Summit (NES#30) in Abuja yesterday also added that the reforms are inevitable. The Vice President who represented President Bola Tinubu at the event said likeNigeria many other nations, Nigeria has experienced significant economic problems over the past few years. According to him, “Nigeria’s growth trajectory has been volatile, heavily dependent on oil revenue and unable to create enough jobs to keep pace with our rapidly growing population. He said, “As a nation, we must prioritize economic diversification. Considering this, the present administration, through the Renewal Hope Agenda has embarked on bold and courageous reforms designed to create an environment that fosters sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity, though painful at the moment.

Barrywilly:Thunder fire your mouth for you there. Tinubu is repositioning which country? Repositioning country by hiking pump price and selling of futuristic crude for cash Was the Country like this when Tinubu took over? Is the country better off or worse off after he took over? Do you have any reasonable content inside that thing hanging on your neck? Some of you Tinubu and APC supporters are plain evil and sold your soul to the devil. Oniranu Omo jati-jati. Olori ibu. Let Tinubu happen to you and your family. |

Soon, Tinubu govt will start to Tax Nigerians to sing National Anthem. Awon Ole Tax Masters. Permission kó, Approval ni!!! |
CBN have said nothing in their press briefing. Very weighty allegations have been made against GTBank that required thorough investigation and sanctioning. The CBN have neither denied the allegations levelled against GTB not have they defended GTB. CBN is merely trying to calm nerves and save GTBank from customer mass withdrawal of funds. Everyone knows GTBank and their fraudulent financial activities. I strongly believe the allegations, and most of the allegations are verifiable. Did countries where GTBANK are doing businesses penalize GTBANK for irregular and sharp banking practices? Yes. Was GTBank penalized in Nigeria for same offenses severally? NO |
bluepreek:Lolz. Quota system. The irony is too that her girls might Probably be suppliers for BH and Bandits. Quota system well utizlized ![]() |
We don't need any fact checking on this one. It is pure lies |
So you know? And you still dey play? If you know this much, it's better you know that you are a goner. |

9jatriot:From your comment that I boldened above, if you agree and saying that "the argument against increasing interest rate is because Nigeria inflation rate is cost driven", then why are you challenging my position that interest rate should be lowered in Nigeria ![]() Doesn't it occur to you that the higher the interest rate, the higher cost of production and inflation? If a businessman borrows money at 8% interest rate and another borrows at 27% interests rate, and both of them manufacture a product, the cost of the product of the man that borrowed at 28% will be higher than the man that borrowed at 8%. By implication, as govt keep increasing interest rates, it is pushing prices higher and causing more inflation. Hence that's why in economic policies we advocate lower interest rates so as to curb inflation. Stop arguing nonsense with me because u totally lack knowledge in these things. Googling and quoting investopedia doesn't make you correct. Honestly, if u were close by I would whack you dirty slap for coming to argue nonsense with me. I keep telling you to face your field of study and stop delving in economic policy argument. Stay in the lane where you are knowledgeable. |
9jatriot:I don't need to Google what I already know, so stop asking me to Google. Economics is my field of study and my specialty is Monetary Economics. You only Google what you don't know. So keep googling on the field of study you are not familiar with. You are only buttressing what I said and shooting yourself on the foot. Since you keeping harping on " we learn by the day", Let me grant you the benefit of a simple explanation of the scenario so you learn further today: Countries try to keep interest rate below 9% to avoid inflation rising. Interest rate is the rate at which bank lend out monies to businesses. Inorder words it is the cost of money. Low interest rates boost economic activities and reduces inflation because not only that monies will be available at cheap rates, it will also reduce cost of production and in turn reduce prices of goods and services (lower inflation). On the other hand, higher interest rates slows down economic activities as fewer people will be willing to borrow monies at higher interest rates. It also increases inflation rate as any businesses borrowing at high rate will have to increase prices of goods and services. Consequently, as prices are going higher, inflation is rising. Having explained the relationship between Interest rate and inflation to you, I hope you have learnt more than google will explain to you ![]() I have given you that knowledge Free of charge. Like I informed you earlier, if you dony have acumen in the field of Economics pls stay aware from the ambit of such discussions and maintain your rants in Politics and partisanship. Economic policy is not your mate. I won't respond to your silly comments again. |
9jatriot:I asked you a simple question. And u failed to answer. What did you study in school Do you know why countries lower interest rates or why they dont allow it to get above the threshold of 9%?? Pls take my advice and be preoccupied with discussions relating to your academic nomenclature because I am absolutely sure you didn't study Economics or anything close to it. If you want tutorials on Economic policies, humbly inbox me and I will do it for a little token for you. |
