Has the price gone down below N1000 per litre yet? Why should we celebrate Dangote or PH refinery if we are still paying more for PMS

There was so much hype about Dangote refinery and how it was supposed to be the game changer that will ensure steady supply of fuel and crash in pump price.
Alas, Dangote Refinery came along and the reverse was the case - with spike in pump price amidst controversies. It was far from expectations as Nigerians were made to pay even higher despite products being refined locally and costs reduced.

Now it is PH Refinery being touted as the game changer to crash price and ensure only God knows what in the Petroleum sector!!!!

The dominant question is :
Why are Nigerians being forced to buy fuel over N1000/ per litre even when the products are refined locally?
There is no way fuel should cost more than N500 per litre in Nigeria given that we have the crude and we are refining locally.
Infact, if govt want to decide to refine crude and sell PMS at N300 per litre, it can. But some wicked criminals in govt want to milk Nigerians and won't allow that to happen.
The fact remains that Nigerians are being scammed by both Dangote and the FG.
