Pls I need help with my 2004 Peugeut 406.
Recently, it doesn't accelerate enough especially when u switch gear from Gear 1 to 2 or 3.
Infact, on gear 3, it stalls as if I want it want to go off.
Worse still it struggles bad to climb small hills.
But if I switch off the engine for a few seconds and restart the car, it moves well and then starts same process of dragging after a few meters. And when you off engine and restart the car, it moves well for like 100 meters and drags when u change gear to 3.
Even if you press hard on the throttle, the car drags badly.
It is not fuel issue, cos there is enough fuel of over 20 litres in the car.

Pls I will be glad if I can get meaningful ideas as to the problem and solutions.

People of Nairaland. This maybe my last post here. I had to create this moniker in order to keep my identity. My view about this world especially this country is just that nobody loves you, you are on your own. In the meantime, I'm in a loads of debt currently owing people. Obi does not know the Nigeria he wants to be President of, he does not know that 'one Nigeria' does not exist, and that some people will always see him as nothing more than an Igbo man and Christian. Those people are going to going to use propaganda, deciet, lies, insecurity etc to sabotage his regime from day one. No matter how well intentioned Obi might be, every move he makes will be turned into an ethnic, religious or ideological issue. Those who cannot bear an Igbo man being President will come after his regime like a hurricane. The result is that Obi will spend 4 years there fighting, if he is not thrown out before then, and achieve nothing.

3. Obi once said that Nigeria is like a car with a knocked engine, he was right. No matter how good a driver may be, he won't get far in a car with a knocked engine. Has Obi ever heard of a 'good Nigerian President'? No such thing has ever existed, or will ever exist. The driver is only as good as the engine of the car. No Nigerian President can do well. We are too divided along ethnic, religious and ideological lines to build a progressive nation. Everyone only talks about who will be the driver, few care about the engine, yet expect the car to take them to heaven. Who is fooling who? My advice to Obi is to forget this cursed office of President and focus on his philanthropy. Obi will touch more lives and help more people this way. So this girl has been coming to my place, eat the best food and all that. I've asked her if she has a boyfriend and she said no. Mehn, from the loss I had earlier and all that, I got infuriated and called another girl telling to pls come over for the night. Then I told this girl to leave my house since she can be that selfish. I sent her out of my house around 10pm. She was telling me she doesn't have money to go home, I didn't care and I shut my door against her. Though I was scared letting her out on that road and that time of the night but my anger got the better part of me. It was later after getting over the whole thing I confirmed nothing happened to her from someone else.
