Tinubu is running a bad govt ridden with bad economic policies that has taken food off the citizens table while him and the politicians are eating fat.
And the werey says the people must endure and must not complain
Tinubu and his govt should just build more prisons before 1st August if they would be able to arrest everyone that would protest because that protest go happen and it will be loud.

Politics / Re: Dangote Vs FG : An Assessment by CharleyBright(m): 10:43am On Jul 22
critique99:
Alhaji Aliko Dangote is a good businessman, who took the challenge of building the much need Refinery to support local fuel production, no doubt. He is a good thinker for sure. But he fumbled. He fumbled big time.

Recently, Dangote approached the Federal Govt, to stop "fuel importation" and direct all marketers to him. That is a big risk NO sensible government would take. A very big risk. And Dangote was wrong to even contemplate that idea, when his refinery was at pre-commissioning stage and at 50% completion.

He thinks he is dealing with Buhari who is very useless and biased. Buhari rushed to commission that refinery when it wasn't fully ready.

Though Dangote got much support from the FG and the CBN, he must realize that Fuel is not Cement. And like the FG said, energy security is paramount. Fuel affects everything in Nigeria.

The FG would NOT stop fuel imports just because of One extra-large refinery. Dangote can not use a BAN to force all marketers to buy from him. He needs to compete. He needs to refine crude oil and sell at cheaper prices, then marketers would come to him.

Dangote, sell at cheaper prices and marketers would come. That is how businesses compete. Not to seek government ban, and destroy other companies like he did with Cement. Today, a bag of cement is N7000. It was N3000 just few years ago.

Fuel is NOT cement. 250 million livelihood and 3 million businesses run on fuel. Dangote would not get the ban he seeks. That is hownhe thrives. He thrives on government fiat. Let him compete with with other importers. If his prices are cheaper and his fuel is higher quality, he can sweep the market. The FG is right. Dangote, stop looking for a BAN on fuel imports. Compete.

Nonsense post.
They said they are importing products because there is no refinery to refine.
Now that there is refinery, why are they still importing?
You people keep churning out foolish explanations to justify the criminality of Tinubu govt.
Pls stop this arrant foolishness and tell your govt to stop importing petroleum products.

Foreign Affairs / Re: You Are Playing With Fire, Ugandan President Warns Protesters by CharleyBright(m): 10:24am On Jul 22
Zxcvbnmghtr:

grin The protest against Jonathan was so ORGANIC and so WIDE SPREAD across every part of Nigeria and was so PEACEFUL. Let us see how this will go. I give it to Tinubu who singlehandedly organized such a successful protest even against IBB a Solider.

Majority of the people making reference to Tinubu's ground breaking protest today as a form of attack on him were actually on the streets in 2012 protesting against Jonathan. The protest was one of it's kind. THE WHOLE OF NIGERIA PROTESTED AGAINST JONATHAN.

Point of correction:
1. Tinubu was part of people that protested against ibrahim Babangida govt. He was a member of Nadeco. He was not the leader. Abraham Adesanya was the leader then. Anthony Enahoro, Beko Ransome Kuti, Femi Falana, Olisa Agbakoba, Fani Fawehinmi, Shehu Sani etc were part of the protest. They were sane people without ulterior motive.
So don't try to hype Tinubu and credit him with the success of that protest against IBB.

2. Contrary to your position, not all Nigerians were in support of the protest that Tinubu and Buhari led against Jonathan govt. Some Nigerians saw the sense in what Jonathan was trying to do by removing subsidy. The only problem was the timing. They wanted to shift the date and put more things on ground but evil Tinubu and Buhari didn't want to listen because they wanted to scuttle Jonathan govt.
Foreign Affairs / Re: What Happens Next Now That Biden Has Dropped Out? by CharleyBright(m): 9:39am On Jul 22
Biden was elected president. He only stepped down from contesting for a 2nd term. He didn't step down as president.
His tenure has not elapsed, so he still have to stay on till January when his tenure ends.
Meanwhile, Biden had already gotten the Democrats ticket to contest as presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections, and having decided to step down from contesting in the next election, there would be needed to seek a replacement candidate for the position for the Democratic Party.
Though Biden has nominated Kamala Harris for the position, but Biden cannot make that unilateral call. It will still require the party's delegate to endorse Kamala or whoever is showing interests for the position.
Where there are more than one candidate interested, it will pass through a delegate election process to decide.

Below is a link to how the process will roll.

Foreign Affairs / Re: You Are Playing With Fire, Ugandan President Warns Protesters by CharleyBright(m): 9:32am On Jul 22
African mentality.
They would fail to perform while holding tight to power and then turn to resist any protest their incompetent govt.

The werey Protester called Tinubu organized and led protesters into the streets against IBB in the 90s and then led protest against Jonathan govt in the 2011s.
Now he is afraid of protest against his useless incompetent govt.
The protest must hold against his govt so he also gets a dose of what he dished out.
If Lagosians like, let them try to bully and blackmail people from holding the protest in Lagos, it will still hold in other parts of the country.

Who is the outstanding nominee Obama is talking about?
He wants to impose his wife - Mitchell as the nominee candidate.
The process of getting a replacement for Biden will only tear the Democrats apart.
Donald Trump has already won the election, the Democrats can't redeem the situation

The Amala guzzling werey is not seeing the Northern youths daring protests against Tinubu bad govt, na Peter Obi be him headache.
It is open hypocrisy and cowardice that some people like Bayo Onanuga and his likes in APC are too afraid to face the North and address pertinent issues.
Bayo Onanuga and the APC govt he is doing dirty job for should realize that the clear and present danger is near and imminent, so no need to play the Ostrich.

Politics / Re: Cost Of Governance: Senator Orji Kalu Calls For Part-time Legislature by CharleyBright(m): 10:43am On Jul 21
Good.
But it must not end in that. They should scrap the bicameralism of legislation. We only need one legislative arm.
Each state should have 4 legislators at most.
And most importantly, Senators must serve only 2 terms. We don't want Senators that make the National Assembly their permanent office.
Serve 2 terms and go.

Politics / Re: Lagos Govt To Start Charging Cars Parked Outside Church Premises Per Hour by CharleyBright(m): 8:02am On Jul 21
Hahahahaha.
Tinubu left a legacy of extortion in Lagos state and the present state governor is following in the footsteps.
Imagine the level of extortion the govt of thinking of by wanting to go and charge cars parked in church premises hourly.
So na church goers they want to extort monies from?
Let them go and try the same in Hausa Mosques in Lagos if aboki won't burn down Lagos.
It is the same extortion tactics that Tinubu wants to deploy in Abuja, that s why Yoruba agberos flooded Abuja immediately Tinubu became President.

The Obedients have become a nuisance, pushing their agenda without considering the consequences. Their fanatical approach only deepens division in the country.

Pls what agenda did Tinubu play when he led people into the streets to protest against Jonathan?
Abi u forget say Tinubu himself planned and led a protest against a siting president and he was not arrested?
So why is he afraid of protest.
Pls let him also enjoy a fair share of protest too.
Hypocrisy go kill una.

Hmm.
Bayo Ononuga (or whatever he calls himself) is the dumbest, tactless, lacklustre and tribalistic Media aide to the president Nigeria has ever had.
Even Tinubu knows the man is so useless that he made Bayo 2nd fiddle to Ajurin Ngelali.
The only media comments Bayo ever makes is accusations upon Accusation. Just when I thought I have seen it all in the duo of Femi Adeshina and Shehu Garba , a rudderless Bayo Ononuga crawls out.
I give up on APC

lexy2014:

which CIA snipers? where did you see CIA snipers?

I don't understand what u mean.
But for your information...
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has personnel trained in sniper techniques and tactics. The CIA's Special Activities Division (SAD) and the Special Operations Group (SOG) are components that conduct covert operations, including counterterrorism and counterinsurgency missions. These groups have operators who are trained in advanced marksmanship and sniper skills.

CIA snipers are typically used for:

1. Counterterrorism operations
2. Targeted killings
3. High-risk arrests
4. Surveillance and reconnaissance
5. Support for military special operations forces

We are all humans and we all will surely die.
I don't like Tinubu cos of what his economic policies are doing to Nigerians, but I can't wish him dead. He can even outlive anyone wishing him dead.
As much as I don't like him, highest I can do is to wish he be removed as president. Not wishing him dead.

Hmmm.
There is hardship, people are hungry and agitated.
Gradually and singularly, people are doing individual protests. Soon hunger go unite them all for massive protests.
Will the govt be able to arrest everyone when they all enter streets to protests?
Instead of addressing the hunger and hardship problems, govt is busy charging protesters to court and calling it disturbance and incitement.
Okay ooo. Tinubu govt should keep monkeying till jungle mature on him head.
