I called longs for GJ on 6/12/2021. So far I've made about 400+ pips. I believe there's still room for 100 pips more as a supply zone is yet unfilled and I consider the whole of this week a week for buyers so I'll close every open position tomorrow.

From next week, I'll sell. Since I don't see any obstacle till 137,any short position opened will remain so till I'm satisfied by how much pips are "in the basket"

Honestly Mr. Sam, I'm not sure they do. I didn't see that option in the website when I visited. If I saw, I would have definitely tried it.

I'm interested in prop firms because I think it's much better than trading a 100 USD account

Fair enough. All I'm saying is I've had my account on an explorer, I quite understand how this DD calculation works and I find it inconvenient. So saying "na gamblers dey fear daily DD" doesn't really sit well with me. If there is anything I've not done this year, it is gambling with my demo account because I'm just as passionate about this business as anybody else.

The MFF conditions may not really suit me. I did the FTMO trials in the last few days of November and I passed it. Just this past week, I completed another evaluation using the FTMO trial parameters and I passed as well. I will be doing another from this week to build my confidence and I hope to pass it as well.

Your "5 pip TP" is your style. I mentioned sometime that I do not take trades less than 200 pips TP because that is my style and my demo account has not been blown because of the decision.

But as you said "trading is personal" so no wahala.

Though I'm a very Conservative trader i haven't even reach 1% overall DD yet.

I caught the GJ sell. Held for 3 days. Missed out on the buy.

Saw the sell too but I'm very selective of trades . I try as much as possible to avoid counter trend trading.....market could reverse anytime.

But this buy for this week is a good risk.

I no longer trade EU but here are some ideas for the new week.

Wyckoff's accumulation schematics shows itself clearly in that box.

Weekends are for price study.

So after the first GU loss, I "angrily" gave her trade slot to GJ (that's why there are currently two open positions on GJ in my last screenshot ).

But studying price action today, it looks to me like the GBP ladies are both set for a green week. If I have any spare margin after execution of USDCAD, I'll add GU. Buying from the 1.32250 to 1.34**

The trade conditions will be 100% when the PWH is broken before retracement for entry. Ideal SL as I trade will be at the PWL.

This week was better than last.

USDCAD is at the POI so I shall be observing price action though I have a pending order.

GJ call from 6/12/2021 has yielded 90+ pips, but it's just a start.

I saw the "decades", these folks don't really understand the sacrifice it takes to reach the 5%.

The learning curve period is not likely to be a one-size-fits-all situation.

Guys, since the day I became a full-time trader, I have not had 4hrs straight sleep - I'm so worn out right now. I have been extremely busy studying charts day & night, doing some extensive/intensive digging of the market. Now, I can say I'm fully operating in a realm that I have never operated in my decades of trading career.

Good success comes with a lot of hard work, smart work, and dedication.

I have now completed both the US$200K challenge (stage 1) and verification (stage 2) of the prop firm TCF. I will now count 6 more days to make up the minimum trading days (10). By the 17th of December, 2021, TCF should provide me with a US$200K live account to start.

This with my US$100K FTMO makes my total trading capital US$300K

Don't risk more than the required daily DD at a time. If all your open trades at a given time is at 3% maximum, I don't see how u will violate 5% daily DD. Either in equity or balance

Here is an idea of what I'm trying to get at;
10k account
Open trade : 1% risk
target return (based on opportunity presented):
8%

First price impulse moves equity from 10k to 10,500 (i.e 5% gain),

Market makes a retracement for second impulse sending equity from 10,500 to 10,000 (I.e 5% DD)

Account lost

This is what I mean. I'm trying to understand if that is how the system works so I may plan accordingly if I'm to consider the option

I have one little question for some us who may have tried myforexfunds.

How does a swing trader manage the drawdown since it is read from whichever is higher(equity or balance)?

My question stems from the fact that the market does what it wants and I trade accordingly. This means an open trade may be few percentage into profit and if the market retraces, I stand to lose the evaluation because reading from my equity to the point of retracement, I may go below the stated DD.

FTMO no give me that kain headache when I do my free trials last month and I cleared it. It's just because of cost that's why I'm looking at MFF but the condition no dey gree.

@GabsonFX, @Donvic4u @any other respectable trader that has tried these firms.

@samfelly, I'm not one to trade with candlesticks (at any timeframe below daily) so I do not use hourly candle stick formation to make my decision. Personally, I wouldn't short from the price you highlighted because

1. That was accumulation, I don't trade LTF accumulation.

2. I already had a point of interest. Patience and discipline demand that I wait for it.

It all boils down to your style.

We are here now on UCAD. I didn't place any pending orders because we have CAD news coming in tomorrow. This red movement has happened so fast . So I would be looking to see stability in price before going ahead to buy.

If the last swing low (indicated by my white arrow) is broken, I'll be going short.

For now, it is still GU and GJ as high probability trades for the week.

GJ although there was delay as I expected 149.223 to be broken at the end of last month, it is yet broken. Selling from this current area seems too risky (looks too much like discount for longs than premium price for shorts). Since this week was for accumulation, I'll be anticipating early week buyers next week hopefully before Wednesday (mostly preferred price to sell from remains 152.850).

Same scenario with USDCAD and GU.

Shorting GJ from 152 to 137 go sweet die

I think the green boys are coming in. A short term buy for GU @1.32450 to take profit @ 1.34 wouldn't be a bad idea. SL @1.3220

Same idea for GJ buying at 149.700; TP @152.800 and SL @ 149.00
