I think they already corrected on Friday up to 1797 before opening up a new low at 1763.

The daily and weekly candles still show a "falling knife". I'll need to see a weakness from these TFs before considering pulling the trigger.

Last week was really profitable to me.

As a matter of fact, gold is the New Haven for serious investors.


I don't even know when last I traded any other currency pair because their risk reward is not worth it now.

This week looks promising. I expect the bearishness to continue.
I will unveil my trading plan later on. May the pips favour us.

Lastly, money management is the only way to banish fear in trading. Consider the size of your account and know this is a marathon race not a sprint race.

We learn and relearn just as someone said earlier on. Happy Sunday everyone.

For me, I'll be staying off all ***/USD pairs in my watchlist after that huge expansion, it only makes sense that there'll be re-accumulation, I.e a range. A long one.

My opinion tho.

I trade demo and thank God I have never been greedy to go live because I want to make quick money.

This thing called forex when mastered will pay one for life.

Couldn't agree more. Told my folks once that "I've got all the time in the world given my age to understand the business". This month I've learnt to see the charts as "a story" narrated by the institutions. When we understand the "plot" , we could easily follow the story.

True, some of us are still crawling and yet to run like @Gabsonfx, @Infofirst (The one who is generously fast tracking our learning curve), @Kaesyrn , @Aluspecialty (not sure but given his level of consistency, I can only imagine he trades a live account) and a host of others I may not know.

@Theyoungmaster has announced once that he'd be going live after what seems to be 9 months according to him, I too look forward to going live at the beginning of next year, @copyjose would go live too in no time(given his passion to understand the market) and as well many others on this forum.
Capital is not planted on trees. Some of us after this learning process would still opt for a cent account because yes, it is quite difficult to pull out a huge capital (given the state of the country's economy) for a smooth trading experience.

So you see your submission that we are all demo traders is rather a silly one and no we don't depend on your "US30" trade calls to survive.

PS: I could smell the sarcasm in your last statement.

Looking at GU's behavior since the 10th of last month....easiest market structure that discourages people and causes them quit the business.

Gold traders are really having a good time just like others did with us30 and ustec in the previous competition

But pip count is what this is about and responsible trading. Gold is ranging too and It is best playing field for scalpers and day traders.

Yeah... But pips could still be picked if the cards are well played. Maybe we would see breakout this week(fingers crossed tho)

The last two weeks have not been wonderful for swingers. This ranging market has affected my pre-determined %drawdown. Nonetheless, no trigger-happiness in the last two weeks, I'm beginning to enjoy the stories the chart tells me.

I abandoned GJ, GU, Gold, Oil till say Friday or Monday, Opened EU, GU, EA and still no trades to be taken until say Friday or Monday, so I opened US30 to play with am small, I found a trade showed up, so I longed it and now I'm enjoying some good pips from the US30 (I will share the chart soon).

Avoiding range is one of the best ways of making money....

All the pairs I trade are there except GU and oil and have been sitting on my hands all week. I no want tempt myself to add extra pairs, it's a resolution I intend to keep till confidence has been built.

Sorry guys, please I’m trying to register for the new contest. I participated in the previous one, I’ve not been able to find my way around the Fx blue live. Do I need to create a new mail to register a new Fx profile with same username for the competition. Because I tried opening another demo account under the profile I used in the last competition but it’s looking like it’s not updating and I don’t want to create two profiles on the next competition to avoid any disqualification ,please I need anyone to put me through

-Open a new demo account
-Register it on fxblue
-Verify using the same email as the first profile you created
-If the first profile still has your username, you could change it so that the new one could use "seunisco"
- after completing the new demo account registration on fxblue and having established the account to bear "seunisco" as username, you can join the competition (easy peasy)

This is how I do my registration. If there's any unclear step, we're still here

Here is my GJ outlook: Long at market open (watchout for widespread on market open), SL is around the yellow price. Take profit, 350-400pips
- The red price may get tested on Sunday/Monday, allow price to test it without panic, if tested and price closes below it on Monday close, exit the GJ long and we can reanalyze.
- If price does not test the red price on Sunday/Monday, it would be a very great long with big pips.
- If price tests the red price but does not close below it on Monday close, it would be good pips.

Finally boss, I'm on the same page as you this time .. No sells for now at least till the market says otherwise

Wow wow , did you see the stop run on GJ on Friday, more than 200pips movement. I think Monday is going to range. Intraday strategy to deploy would be look to trade back into range ( if price zap up, look to sell it back into range )

I was shocked ... But if she retest and closes above the broken horizontal resistance... I think 160 should be in sight.

By the way, I think I see what you may mean by selling higher for EA. This is why I share ideas... When we start competition, then we know it's "all man for himself, God for all"

Yeah Monday will determine how the week is going to play out, I like your euraud chart, but I think it will go up a little before the fall you are expecting. My ideal entry will be euraud give small retrace on Monday and a very fast move up, so I can sell it from the top.

We will never know, let see how the week will play out.

I'll look again to see if there's any liquidity to grab as you expect but at least one of my rules I've managed to keep is the "No trading on Mondays" rule ... So yeah Monday will determine the next line of action

Any chance we have an eye on GJ? She's been unpredictable and I've let her be since two weeks... What say you bosses?

EA doesn't interest me but drew some few lines on it. My entries are fluid so I wouldn't only base it on my drawn lines.

I think price will bounce from your lines but to go higher? We'll just watch... If it goes higher than . 58300, then I'll flow with the markets.

Picture found.... Stories the market tells me. In addition to P. A, I think understanding order flow is key too. Well, I wouldn't know if they're the same..

My contest account was beginning to breathe fine again before the contest ended but consistency remains the goal... The next six months should suffice (at least for confidence's sake)

Fall... Its In a channel... The current bullish move started on friday.... 1935 is a daily IMB to fill up, the 4hr wedge breakout has not been retested before the continuous bullish move till the anticipated 1960 drop(likely)

What I'm saying in earnest is there's both bullish and bearish opportunities in the channel depending on traders style. But I'm bullish at least till 1960
