Yes o! I made a whooping 787pips yet I'm languishing at 9th all because I trade mostly 0.01 to 0.03lot sizes while the new topper made just 208pips. Pips made should be the benchmark. Not going in with outrageous lot sizes.

Modified; In this current contest, My pip count is higher than every other person whose account is open to access....aside @Seunesco. Y'all be making me feel I was a bad trader with huge lot sizes. SMH.

We improved after detecting issues. In the next contest, we will return to only currency pairs and total max lot size that can be traded will be 0.05. And every position must be 0.01 lot size. pips making is the goal not high returns with minimal pips making.

Price is at the upper TL on daily Timeframe.
An extended double top with a divergence is forming on 4H Timeframe.

On the complementary side, DXY is forming a double bottom at Friday's low.

A quick glance from tradingview shows GJ on the H4, D1 has been bullish for a while now up to 154.50

If it doesn't sell off to form a lower low initiating a downtrend in these coming weeks it might be a brief pullback to prices aound 150. 80- 152.00 to continue the uptrend.

(Funny enough london market could open on Monday and the stupid thing will buy to entice buyers before it goes south)

All though i think the CPI + retail sales data coming out on wed & friday will also determine future price projections.

Great analysis, while 2 or 3 traders saw long, you saw short; this shows that there is no right or wrong analysis until market tells us.

I like the fact that you showed why it will short.....any other analysis on GJ, let's see together before market open.

Great, your analysis is similar to that of Immortal99, he was not conclusive as anyone could short the retest which you both have drawn out.

Any other outlook on GJ, anyone?

I think d weekly chart is showing divergence while daily shows overstretched to d up.
I've opened a short position already at 154 with 50pips SL.
What do u think pls?

@charly20, take notice of the ranging that happened on H1 for 4 hours after price hit 153.310 before the voluptuous bullish rally...simply, supply and demand zone reaction after retest. I believe that is also what @djwalata uses for a part of his analysis.

Who remembers this GJ analysis I did 7days ago: see attached? I'm still on the trade and currently running about 120.0 pips - confirm from your chart.

156.70 awaits this pair if this resistance is eventually broken on a daily candle.

For me, these are the immediate areas of interest, will be waiting for reactions in H1 around these levels.

It depends on what d price action does on this resistance, though d daily trend is up but a confirmation is still needed.

Make sure you have a well tested and solid strategy in place especially in area of risk management. This can be summarize as thus:

1. Risk not more than 0.5% (1% max) on any single trade(50pips)
2. Focus more on signal from 4h to daily time frame for solid setup ( occasional H1 chart) and look only at the lower time frame(<H1 less than) only just for optimal entry
3. Always wait for high probability setup of your trading strategy... Don't rush to pick anyhow trade. Remember you must choose your battle wisely.
4. Capitalize on your high probability trade with Max lot size and ride it to the fullest (caution don't be too greedy)[i][/i]
5. Patience Patience and Patience

In my 6 years of trading & 2 years of reaching profitability status i have learnt the less complicated yout trading system or style is ..the better for you.

I still remember the flash crash of jan 15 2015. That made me start a journey to understand fundamentals i had a lot of CHF pairs on my watchlist had 3 positions running, the loss i acquired that day made me think about life.
