I think price may bounce back from 1736.50 to retest yesterday's high @1720.00 before continuing the rally upwards but in any case we watch, we learn.

@theyoungmaster the idea of the competition is to get the best out of us, the prize is bonus. I don't look at the prizes to be won personally, I only look to grow more confidence that's all. If e come out say I make top 3 double celebration for me.

I used to think the best of us do not lose but the "complacency" of the top 3 made me understand that even "the best" could be "scared" of losing so who am I?

@infofirst, the boss I appreciate your desire to encourage us who didn't exactly make it to top 3 but made profits nonetheless. I'd love me that consolation

As a trader, if you learn to sit on your hands 50 percent of the time, you will make a lot of money.

This is the bane of many traders. They haven't learnt "how to not trade" when there isn't anything interesting in the market place. Common, you don't force a setup, or try to always get in on a trade.

Emotional mastery is one key thing you want to learn as a trader. It preserves your Mental Capital, and preserve your book balance in your broker. It saves you stress and loss of money.

This is one fact you may never get to hear from your "wannabe" Instagram or YouTube "rich" traders, but hear me now,

Trading is the most difficult way to make "easy" money.

The sooner you know that, the earlier you start being diligent with your studies, to develop yourself all round, from your Skills (10%), to your Money Management (30%), to your Psychology (60%) which accounts for a Successful trading career.

Trading is plain stack, difficult. And it takes a lot of Mental Resilience to be able to scale through till you get to profitability. And the timing is different for everyone. So don't compare yourself with anyone. It leads to a dead end.

That said, don't beat yourself when you have losses. Have a long term goal in your trading career. Something like this, "I will keep working on myself for 2-3yrs till I ever think of quiting."

If folks go to school for a 4yrs course, some 5yrs, to get certified in a field, why can't you embrace such discipline too? When you discover you don't have such long term vision and discipline, just know that you're a greedy fellow, and you won't last in this field, no matter how much you make now.

What you see on IG, YouTube, isn't real. No, it isn't. Don't be fooled! They want you to believe they are trading..the truth is, they are not! They (most of them) live off your mentorship payment. Quite clear to discern.

To the simple at heart, you will run with this, and make amends.

Remember,

This week has ended successfully. To me, this is more than a "contest" and I know I can hardly compete with the more experienced traders contest-wise as I'm only two months old and some of us are "years old" in trading. I stick to the objective of the "contest" which is to bring out the best in me. Sticking around here since the past year learning theoretically and watching other noobs get involved pushed me out of my cave to make input. Special mention to @Theyoungmaster, watching your eagerness to learn as a 'newbie' in FTA:20 were catalytic factors in this my learning process.

@infofirst. Your comment on my effort is enough encouragement this week. Your token will go a long way for me though.

My rule is to learn to keep my capital, then learn to make profits on the capital.

While everyone trades with the eyes of 1000usd I see my capital as 100usd. If I go live that is what I hope to go with so 28% return on a 100usd account may not be bad in 2 weeks

Truth... School stress has got all of us students tightly especially now that some of us are facing exams..
