For prevention, I say it's a way.

SaharaReporters had earlier reported how a military officer, who returned from India to the state, had first brought the virus to the state. Governor Akeredolu explained that he received the news of the recovery from the Commissioner for Health and Chairman Inter- ministerial Committee on COVID-19 in the state last Friday that the man had tested negative twice to the disease. He said, “What this means is that the first patient of the fatal infection is now completely healed and free to go home, indeed free to resume his normal life in service to our country. “It is important to inform us all that upon presenting the symptoms of the infection while in isolation, the first sample from this army officer was taken at the Nigerian Army Barracks, Akure, on April 2, 2020 and sent for test to ascertain his status.” The governor affirmed that the result came out positive on April 3 while the military personnel was immediately admitted into the Infectious Disease Hospital in Akure. He explained that the case was on admission in the hospital where he received treatment until some improvements were noticed in his health. He added, “On April 12, the first follow up sample was taken as part of the medical review of the patient. “The result came out negative on April 13. “The second sample was taken on the Thursday, April 16, 2020 and the result came out again as negative. “Due to the two consecutive negative results and his stable clinical condition, the patient is hereby declared fit for discharge. This is in line with the standard COVID-19 patient discharge criteria.” According Governor Akeredolu, there are two other cases undergoing same intensive treatment and care at the Infections Disease Hospital. The governor further added that the state was determined to curtail the pandemic and ensure that the people were protected from the virus.

If a man should die, can he live again?

I'd advise you don't wash your dirty linen in public.

Kano State erstwhile Commissioner of Works and Infrastructural Development, Engineer Mu’azu Magaji who was sacked by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has disclosed that he never celebrated the death of President Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari, insisting that his post on social media was misunderstood. Making this known in a statement, he said as a Muslim and a patriotic Nigerian, he was rather misunderstood by people who assumed that he celebrated Abba Kyari’s death, saying “I made several posts mourning Kyari’s death on my same Facebook account and through my special assistants, but the general public couldn’t commend such or claim I did such post. Rather, people capitalised on a full-phrase post that was given another set of definition and direction, as well as negativity in order to tarnish my reputation and image as a member of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s administration and his loyalist, and that of our national party, the APC,” he said. He further explained that the use of “win-win” phrase was basically an attempt to explain the Islamic position regarding people that died as a result of any kind of pandemic. He stated that late Mallam Abba Kyari was privileged to have died as a result of COVID-19, and thereby opportune for martyrdom in line with position of Islam. “Our Rasul (S. A. W) assured on the path of martyrdom in Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Jihad wal-Siyar. Even Sheik Isah Ali Pantami has taken time to explain more on this. By this, the death of Mallam Abba Kyari is a big win for him, which is almost the dream of every Muslim,” he said The sacked commissioner also stated that he believes that Governor Ganduje made the decision to remove him from his cabinet as a conditional sacrifice to appease aggrieved individuals considering such a huge loss in Abba Kyari’s death. He then tendered an apology for any unintentional pain he might have caused both the families of the late Chief of Staff, as well as Governor Ganduje.
