Hey guys...
My shipper shipped my luggage with DHL...on tracking it's been with lagos customs for over a week. DHL says they are waiting to be advised on custom duty fee...d luggage contains my used clothes and personal shopping-shoe all abt 60 euros. I was late for check in while travelling..that's why i had to send it separately.
Is there a way I can go to custom personally before I get an outrageous fee and how do I go about it.

Update: Sorted. It was cleared and delivered without paying extra

Hey guys..just thought to add this.
It you have an Ireland visa, and you have a return ticket with Turkish airlines, you are eligible for a 3mths evisa from Turkey for $40. If your transit time between flights is between 6hrs to less than 24hrs..you get free tour in turkey provided by tourististanbul.

My short stay conference visa application is 5weeks now and I still haven't gotten any reply, and the conference is in 2 weeks time. Can I send a mail to them with an attachment of some documents tho not listed but could be helpful?...as I really don't know why it's taking this long

Liquidate into your account as Bal is key (easy access to fund) and attached evidence to show the source is from TBs.

Considering the fact that mass payment on statement of account will look suspicious and I also have a sponsor....do I just get a tbill certificate or reinvest...the later option will mean the balance in the account won't be much. Thanks

You also need to include your personal statement of account/ proof of funds and more importantly your proof of ties to Nigeria-** Still not sure what the purpose of visit is though .

You must submit a statement of account of the third party and evidence of hi/her source of income.

Yes the person must write Sponsorship Letter, stating that he/she would offset the cost of your trip to and from Ireland. He must also explain why he's sponsoring you and what will be of benefit to him. Evidence of your relationship with the sponsor must be provided.

And does the third party have to write any letter? Couldnt get these info from the website.

Since you are a student, you sud have medical insurance. At least you will be able to go through consultation for free, it sud also cover some drugs, details of which I don't know.

Firstly, if u are a student, the school health center will definitely have at least a doctor. He/She will be able to prescribe something for you at least.

Hello, kindly pay a visit to the hopital and see a doctor. If you have access to a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist also, the better. You may not know ow much is too much with herbs. Suicidal thoughts are warning signals of immediate actions...nd it is never the way out.
