I am a Christian and I am voting Tinubu, please go and hang yourself.
It baffles me how you guys feel your destiny is in the hands of a politician. What makes Tinubu different from buhari who has thrown the nation 10years backwards. How on earth do you think Tinubu cares one bit about your welfare when he did everything he could to sponsor buhari not once but twice even after he grade A failure? In the face of buharis administration, Tinubu stood by buhari and defended him against you and you think for once he will be better than buhari because he isn't Fulani

Cashless policy can be a force for good and evil.....on one hand it can make life easier where the people have access to excellent Internet connection and a proper device such as smart phone or body enabled chip........many biblical scholars and researchers have concluded that the only way the Antichrist can fully implement the mark of the beast is through digital or electronic money.....

How is Nigeria ripe for a full cashless society? Only an evil person or a deluded person who thinks social media is a representation of Nigeria will support this evil......there are several millions of Nigerians who have no bank account......many more millions without smart devices.....Internet connection is poor in many parts of Nigeria yet Obi and Atiku...the 2 PDP thieves are supporting hardship cos they think it will benefit them....

The United Kingdom, EU and many developed countries are not a fully cashless society and there is no nation that has experienced this chaos due to currency swap or change ....the US dollars changes regularly no problem.....naira has changed many times in the past no problem.....Emefiele, Atiku, Obi are enemies of the people......we all know that no presidential candidate will be affected by this lack of new naira note
If obi, atiku and emefiele are thieves and enemies of the people, what is Tinubu?

If you trivialise this issue to Tinubu, you are wrong. This isn't about Tinubu or how he feels. This is about the rights of Nigerians that are being trampled upon. Many times, we refuse to band together and be united in our suffering to fight for our rights because of petty sentiments

Is it a right for nigerians to have access to their funds? Is it a deprivation of the rights of Nigerians for them to be denied access to their funds?

Honjoshy4u:
In most developed nations, funds are easily traced because most percentage of transaction is done via transfer or card. This idea discourages kidnappers asking for ransom or politicians stacking money in their homes.
But over here in Nigeria, the reverse is the case.
Let's learn from the trend of our past.
In those days, robbers break people's home, shops, and attack travellers because they know most transaction was cash. Immediately we had the reform that encouraged people using transfer and cards, that ugly trend reduced drastically.
This naira swap and withdrawal limit will make CBN control the cash in the country and bring a bit of sanity the the Nation.
According to Emefiele, CBN has mopped up over 2 trillion naira cash in less than a month.

We can't continue like this oga
You didn't answer the questions I asked.

🙏🏿 The same Bola Tinubu you accuse of trying to Islamize the nation.

He shares close relationship with most General overseer in the country

His wife is an ordained pastor of one of the biggest churches in Africa.

The immediate past and present governor of Lagos state are both Christian. The both of them 'handpicked' by this same man.

Presently, all southwestern state governors are all Christian. The same region where his (Tinubu) political influence is insurmountable.

Most Churches in Lagos got land allocations under him during his tenure to build or expand

A gentle reminder for naysayers. In Southwest it is humanity first before Religion. Neutrality , tolerance and unity is our way of life.

I think we all largely agree the policy was a timely one and would help address some of the issues we have been facing.

For instance the era of kidnappers demanding ridiculous sums (tens, sometimes 100s of millions in cash) hopefully would be over.

The major problem has been the speed of implementation which many agree makes no sense and is only overburdening the system.

The network glitches for instance have been attributed to the unprecedented upsurge in online transaction and demand for POS. The obvious question is, shouldn't CBN have foreseen this?

The best way would have been to roll out in phases, perhaps starting with the big cities before extending to other parts

Nigerians we’re sold the idea successfully by APC that PDP under GEJ was a party of looters and embezzlers. Nigerians agreed and voted massively to remove GEJ from power. The rest they say is history, with the level of poverty, misery, hardship, difficulty and sorrow pervading the land.

Nigerians have borne all every pain inflicted on them by the PMB/BAT led APC since 2015, with no form of lamentation. The only lamentation came in 2020 and was quenched by the government. Suffering has come to stay until those who blindly support another APC government for 2023 wake up.

Obi represents hope, a better and brighter future. Obi brings accountability, integrity and honesty. We are tired of looters and embezzlers.

Cashless policy makes the economy better. It puts more money into your pocket.

1. It help deepen our drive to entrench a cashless economy.

2. It is aimed at checking the increasing ease and risk of currency counterfeiting in the country.

3. It is a policy that would assist in the fight against corruption, which you vote bribe taking muntulas are resisting.

4. To control currency in circulation and reduce the overall cost of currency management.

5. It will would assist in the fight against corruption, which may be an aberration to corruption loving citizens.

Every decent country has policies in place to secure the economy and make lives better for the citizens. Difficult as it seems presently because of the shortness of time and the upcoming election, Nigerians can at least have some respite from criminals in the interim and a better tomorrow with Obi as the President.

Your support for Tinubu has blocked your better reasoning part. Every reform to make the economy better is a welcome one.
This reform is fantastic. No nation can get it right when out of about 4trillion naira cash, CBN can only control about 500billion.
