Japheth Kwanduno and his wife Lydia Kwanduno are missing. The couple had gone to church in ECWA, Gwarimpa Estate, Abuja and were seen leaving the church at about 7:30 p.m. yesterday but they did not make it home.

According to a family source, the parents went out in a black Toyota Corolla. When they were not home at the expected time, their children called and when there was no reply, they decided to get the authorities involved.

A property located along Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos where popular singer, Banky W, lives has been destroyed by fire, Punchng reports.

A neighbour to the artiste told our correspondent on the telephone that the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioner. The fire was believed to have started around 6am. .

A resident said, “The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire. However, Fire service officials arrived around 7.30. So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards.” but officials of the fire service arrived over an hour late.

Abua by Foster Street in Abuja witnessed a spectacle when an arm robber that run out of luck was caught and burnt immediately. The robbers has gone on an operation but his gang members escaped leaving him behind to be caught and roasted like a goat.
Members of the public are still watching as the fire munches the guy to death.

On Saturday, February 11, 2017, there was a commotion at the Tema Community 9 Cemetery, when a Mortuary attendant with Tema General Hospital stormed the burial ground to seize a dead body over an amount of GH¢40 (N3K) balance for the services he rendered.


According to some eyewitnesses, while the body was being interred, the enraged mortuary attendant in the company of a colleague, seized the coffin, opened it, picked out the dressed corpse and started heading back to the mortuary.

According to him, the family of the deceased failed to pay the full amount and while he was busily preparing other bodies for burial, they sneaked the corpse out of the mortuary, headed straight to the cemetery to bury and was ready to proceed to perform the funeral.
The funeral later continued following the intervention of some elders and friends of the deceased.

Timi Dakolo is set to be dragged to court by Nigerian music legend, Majek Fashek, for using Majek’s all time hit, ‘Send down the rain’ without authorization. .

His manager, Uzoma Day Omenka, said before the end of March, they would file the suit unless Dakolo can provide proof of authorization by any representative of Majek. “We are not taking this case lightly. We are just awaiting the arrival of our solicitors from the U.S., and the UK then we will hit the courts. .

For crying out loud, this guy is making money from itunes and he did what he did because he thinks in Nigeria, anything goes. If he can prove, as he claimed, that he paid for the use of the song and he can show concrete proof of it, then he will go free, but if not, we will definitely meet in court," Omenka said

The manager expressed his anger with Timi Dakolo’s lack of respect toward the veteran musician, saying, “Timi remixed the song without the knowledge of Majek Fashek."
