I am a Chemical Engineer and presently preparing for my IELTS which will come up by end of next month and also writing my career episodes. I do not really have relevant working experience in Chemical Engineering related fields but am banking on my project,nysc and btech post nysc internship for my career episodes. Can I use my 6 months post b.tech internship to write a career episode ? I am a bit confused here because there is an information on Engineers Australia which requires employment letter for any experience that provides the basis for a career episode even if the period of the experience was less than than one year. It was an internship and not employment so I do not have an employment letter to present. What I have as an evidence is the electronic copy of the invitation email for the internship/training. Also, is NYSC certificate enough as proof of experience during NYSC?

Is it possible for your uncle to wire the funds to your Dad's account, with the latter transferring it to your account. Subsequently, your pops should write you a gift deed, stating that the funds was a gift. It's more appropriate and sound more convincing if a gift deed is coming from your Dad than an uncle.

However, you have no problem if your uncle can afford to leave the money in your account for 6 months. Once the money stays in your account for 6 months, you dont really have to explain the source.

Therefore for a single applicant you need $11,931 Canadian which is equivalent to N1,779,260 as at today's exchange rate. You need to show 6 months bank statement but the money doesn't need to be in your account for the full 6 months. However any large inflow into your account within the 6 months needs to be explained and backed up by the proper documentation, therefore it's advisable for the funds to be in your account for the full 6 months to avoid complications.

There is no major distinction between dangote projects and dangote refinery as far as this recruitment drive is concern.If you remember the initial official application email for this recruitment contained projects The design and construction of the refinery is what they referred to as project. Everybody will be employed under dangote project. People are being called for offer letters according to the need of the ongoing project.

when we asked the hr guys that will they give feedback to everybody that wrote the psychometric test? he laughed and responded that dont we know that if some didnt get feedback while others did, it means they have been dropped and that, that is how it has been right from the onset of the recruitment to the next stages. So bro, if you werent called for a psychometric test after you did your interview and up till now you havnt been given feedback for an offer( some who didnt proceed to the group discussion stage, were called straight for interview and have been given offers. I know two people who have), then know that you were dropped already. no bad feelings, just fact.

I am sure the two people u talked about were not employed as Process Engineers. Is either they were employed as a Civil or Project Engineers cos I was told Process guys will be called immediately the refinery begins operation proper.

This message is for all the guys that requested to send me message via email. I will prefer to answer you here. The interview will be based on your CV and you will be the one to determine the direction of the interview meaning that interviewers ( three or four in number) will ask you questions based on what you say. So be cautious of what you say and make sure u are saying the correct thing at any point in the middle of the interview.

Also, since you have been told that the questions will be based on your area of specialization. So focus your energy on fundamental principles in your course of studies. e.g for chemical engineers, know your units, principles guiding the operation of a distillation column, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics and simple chemistry. We will meet at Dangote refinery come November insha Allah. Installation begins next month hopefully successful candidates should resume by November or latest by December. Best of luck.
