I did the superintendent cadre screening yesterday in Delta State. It was well organised and successful. I was invited without any human connection, the God Almighty who is merciful and who shows favour to whomsoever He wills, showed me favour. The exam was not difficult, maths, English and current affairs. 10 questions in 15 minutes, objective questions.
We were about 100 that took part in the superintendent screening in Delta State. I went to the immigration office today, I discovered that those who came for the inspector cadre were very few about half of those who came for the superintendent cadre. I learnt they will likely call 30 or 40 persons out of the 100 for training. I strongly believe in God to help me make the final list. I have no human connection, but I have the heavenly connection. I have the God who ruleth in the affairs of men.

30 pple for Superintendent?

it was all a success here in my state though not all that got the mail came for the screening,meanwhile their was an exam after the physical exercise and medicals for the pregnant ladies..

That's what u are suppose to say. Not digging up link to suit your believe. My link said "in an interview with the NIS boss, they have gotten 1.2 applications". While ur own link said " our reporter learnt that 40k application...". Objectively, which one would you believe? I wish you the best bro. Its your time.

If more than 40k got the invite how come you hardly come across those that were selected. 40k is much and by now a lot of them would have been testifying but right now that is not the case

The fact is that people who got the invites wants to believe that they are automatically employed, why people who didn't get want to believe that there is still hope if they press buttons. But ask yourself, Npower shortlisted 300k but u can hardly see pple who will say they got the successful message. I personally registered more than 20 pple and also assist them in the exams, guess what? None was selected. NIS total applications was not 40k, it was more than a millions. But it doesn't change the fact that the selected has an edge. BSc, HND, OND, NCE and SSCE were all shortlisted bro. But it seems they are all few or majority of the shortlisted aren't in nairaland and Facebook.

That's why I waiting on Monday to get news, if there will be crowd.

I am from Imo and have seen only 2 pple that are invited from my observation in Facebook and nairaland...

They shortlisted were just lucky, I have sent 2 pple that got shortlist, 1 didn't complete the application, yet was shortlisted. The other didn't upload her passport, yet was shortlisted... Its just luck and God for them.

I just await news on Monday night to know if there was crowd.

I am sure this one is different. Those that got the invite are those they will recruit. Just like npower who only selected 300 thousand out of 2.5m applicants. The 300k is what they will engage, less than 95% of the total 2017 NIS applicants were shortlisted meaning they only invited those to be recruited. The point is if you were shortlisted kindly go for the verification because you already got the job....Good luck.

That's your thought. I wish you guys the best. But don't think like that, just go try ur best and leave the rest for God. I am an Npower beneficiary(2016)... I know someone who didn't do the test and didn't do the verification but she is in Npower now. She didnt know anyone, she just followed up when we where doing documentation and after everything she got in.

I have carefully analyzed this NIS stuff, they just did random shortlisting, no criteria was followed. It is after this screening, that the final list will come out. When ur name is in the final list, then u have the job...

Hmm, From what I understood, if you got the invitation then you have gotten this job oh. But anything can happen anyway, as life is full of possibilities.

This may be true, if internet survey is anything to go by, the invited are very few. On Nairaland alone, if we are to count those invited, they aren't up to 30. In Facebook groups, they are not up to 20.

So guys take your invite serious. The guy saying he isn't going anywhere, if it won't affect your most important engagement, give it a trial, you never can tell.

That I wasn't shortlisted now doesn't mean God doesn't exist. He does and He answers prayers. Just that most times I get very angry with God, that I wish one can see him face to face sometimes, I have loads of questions to ask...

Seems no hope of receiving email or being shortlisted again.

During email invitation, they said we should keep checking our email, that they are still sending invitations. Now that's online checking, are they still uploading peoples data? Or do we move on?

I called their customer care this evening. They said they are still sending invites, but I am not sure because since Sunday, nobody has said he/he has received invite. Let's wait still Friday-Saturday sha. Then we will know our fate.

Do u know that many will be called but few will be chosen? My friend hasn't gotten a mail from NIS as regards the recruitment but after contacting the officer in charge of her runs,he assured she'll get the appointment letter after training with proof( of course, not without doing it the regular 9ja way). Its unfortunate that many Nigerian youths seek for job but don't HV the right channel to get it. it is well. My advice is this,for those who got the mail,pls try to lobby with any officer u meet at the NIS office u were ask to go to. Just be bold and talk to them on how to help ( preferably a female) cos getting a mail is not a guarantee oh

Appointment letter after training? Please tell her not to allow the officer give her false hope...

From what I observed, firstly, they are using State of residence for the exercise and not State of origin. Secondly, they are done with the invitation.

Which one is sending mails one one, how many thousands do they want to send before Monday?

Not all Imo applicants are Nairalanders na but I still find it difficult that no single Imo nairalander can boost of receiving the email...
