All attempts to get our usual type of filling sand failed as trucks could not access the sites from where the sand is lifted. However we kept moving, making arrangement after arrangement till we decided to go out and buy another colour of soil, though a little more costly but we just had to work today.

The picture below shows the foundation framing beam rods. This is to be used only at the perimeter of the foundation walls to add a chain effect and hold the foundation together. This is another additional safety measure.

jam04: Seeing is believing..those that have tried us here are our witness. Gettin ur supply direct from companies like ours is the best because we have direct dealership agreement with chinese quarry owners.

Also I will advice clients too not to be too gullible when they are trying to get a good bargain. You want a full and correct measure of what you order for but you are not willing to pay the price. How would a client want a 30tons load of granite at ebute metta for 115k!!!!!.are you not 'directly' telling the supplier to cheat u? Forget about seeing the loading tickets that display 30 tons. Fake Loading tickets are gotten for a token(500 naira or 1k max).
Always patronise companies with RECOGNIZED presence to save cost.

On point but "agreement is agreement" in paper and in words. if a supplier cant deliver at the agree price he shld just leave the supply but never under the sun he want to cheat.

In constructing the foundation, we dug the ground, filled it up with gravel mixed with cement. Then I set two planks, cast it and later laid 3 layer blocks then cast two planks again. Now, I am done with sandfilling and plan to begin to build. Please, are there alternatives to german floor as this appears way too expensive for my building plan. Guys who have built in the area didn't do german floor and they aren't having any flood-related challenges.
