Recently I called an installer he reset my dish to hotbird but I only get TVC, arewa 24, Tauraruwa and a lot of french channels FTA others consat channels which are all scrambled., which am not satisfied with.

I need your advice on how best to use my dish especially news channels

BTW, looks like you have your dish installed in a corn farm.
It will be good to feast on roasted corn with one hand while rocking your dish with the other!

On my 2.4m pf setup, 64.2 is primary and i have is20 and Thaicom on it.

@Cheny. Nice setup.Going beyond 78.5E will be pretty difficult with a centre-fed.Much easier with an inverted offset.

Yes, The Nilesat signal will not be impressive for 2 reasons, one its not fixed and secondly the LNB was not set for nilesat, probably it was set for either hotbird or hispasat.

@cheny we both know the tp of the MBC (11938v27500) on nilesat is no more receivable with 3m dish.

secondly if it was only focus on nilesat the signal would be more than that.from 58% on bein sport HD will give u a clear and stable Picture on bein receiver.
we all know the bein signal has been a hot cake on nilesat.thank u.

I didn't remember to check the ESPN syndicate and ESPN Caribbean tp on telstar@15w.sorry I was carried away.

Hispasat signals were all excellent including the Chelsea TV tps.

31w gave us 97%

Badr@26e was excellent

We could not go beyond 28e because of the fence.

Please Guru's in the house i need your help on IS20 on east side. I have tried up to three times with my installer, but we are not getting enough signal quality for the Sony channels to be stable, instead if its not cracking, its showing scramble at 56-58% signal quality. Aljazeera is at 68-70%. My set-up is 1.8m strong pan dish with 4922a strong decoder and 185p patch. Please i love this east side so much and anyone that can help on what to do to increase the signal quality and make this SONY channels stable will be much appreciated and can reach me on 08077790011 or email:ojsegzy@yahoo.com.
