Ambitiouscent:It's ok |
When a 100L student was brought to the hospital,it was obvious he was not gonna make it. But what was so strange to everyone was the fact that about three 'system guys' as the called themselves were hanging outside the ward making trouble and demanding that they must have access to this young man. Now, visiting time was 4-6pm so they were not allowed in. But when their wahala became too much, both staff & relatives suspected that these guys were cultists. The head of security was codedly informed unknown to these young devils. He immediately sent an SOS to the Police and under 15mins a handful of No-nonsense officers came and bundled these boys away. It was like a drama to us because they initially resisted arrest( as some of the officers were in plain clothes) not untill one of the fierce looking officers shot into the air and promised them that he had enuf bullets to break their legs. How these cultists knew this boy would die that day,we never knew! What they wanted to tell him in his final hours,we couldn't tell ! Why they wanted to take some parts of his body,we couldn't understand! What particular organ they were interested in pulling out,we would never decipher! The painful aspect of this saga was that these demon-infested young men kept the family of the deceased at edge by repeatedly sending msgs to them that they must take what belongs to them from his corpse or perform their final rites. Can u believe that 2 nights later, they organised a procession of about 20-25 of their members all in black for a distance of about 2km without anybody challenging them. We never knew how they family later went about his burial because there was this fear that the cult members threatened to exhume his body and take what they wanted wherever he was to be buried, since they could not succeed in doing it at the hospital. Why I am bringing out this specific story is that my colleague at work where this happened repeatedly warned this boy who died to stay off cultism because they lived at same street. The boy who introduced him to this rubbish was a known Cultist and this prompted my colleague at work to beg him to stay away from Him because they were always seen 2geda. But he never listened to every plea to quit and finally brought untold grief to his family. We will continue to say no to Cultism as long as we can. My questions are; (1) Is there any oath taken by members during initiation or at any point that a part of their body must be removed when they die? or that members must participate in paying last respect for a dead colleague? (2) If yes, what then happens if the family of the dead cultist rejects their participation by biefing up security to prevent them? |
One of the greatest evils to befall our society is Cultism, it has eaten so deep into the fabrics of the our tertiary institutions that even the private institutions are becoming their breeding ground. Those of you who have heard about Salem Uni will think that such a thing as Cultism can never happen their........hmmmmn, Na lie because these boys are operating in coded manners even in this Religious private institutions. On one specific nite, a young man in his 200 level was to buy weed and other strong stuffs for his group from within the community where the Uni was located. Problem was that this period was tense because the vigilante of this community (Outskirts of Lokoja called Jimgbé) were on the lookout as robbers had been attacking and given them sleepless nights. Now,this guy as usual would have to scale the fence or look for a way to beat the School security to get out to buy the stuff. After finding his way through and on getting to the main road to locate the place they normally buy their stuff he was flashed by the vigilante and asked to stop and identify himself. On seeing them,he took to his heels but on trying to run back to the school premises he met school security patroling and again had to turn back to the highway separating the the school and the community. This was where his unfortunate suffering began because the vigilante concluded that he must be a member of the gangs terrorrisng the community at nights, and when they caught him, he was beaten blue and black, in btw the punishment and toturing he repeatedly shouted and begged for mercy. He was dragged on the highway to the point the flesh on his back was peeled off and everywhere so bloodied. It was the intervention of the CSO of the school that saved him from a brutal death as he pleaded with the angry vigilantes that this was his student because his I.D card was still in his jeans. Even at that the CSO had to call the DPO to send in officers that night b4 this boy could be rescued. Despite all pleas from the School authorities for this boy to reveal the rest of his members he never mentioned any name because while at the school clinic, two of his buddies came to warn him that if he ever reveal anything or call any names he will definitely kick the bucket. Even with the knowledge that he will be expelled, this boy never opened up and this tells you that cultists can be stubborn and heartless. Forgot to add that 2 weeks before this incident, there was a case of a missing laptop in his hostel and all fingers were pointing to this same guy only for the parents to drive into the school and swore that their child can never be involved in any vice. It is not completely true that cultists and cultism is non-existent in some of our private Unis as some pple say because a lot of this cultists who were expelled or who could not graduate from previous Unis still carry their heartlessness along with them to continue practicing this dark acts. |
Terver23:Thanks for d confirmation |
Passionate888:Well,u may be right as two different versions of the story was reported. |
KodakBlack:Just imagine the waste of lives, sometimes one wonders what these guys think of life. |
As we speak, these killings and babaric acts are still going on. When will these guys get sense? Exactly two weeks back a final year political science student of BSU was killed and to get back at their rivals the following day,a reprisal attack occurred in which 3 human beings were hacked to death, their bodies burnt and they corpses dropped at the front of Uni-Agric main gate. Now, how will these nonsense stop when it's always a chain reaction? They all brag about being charmed-up with all kinds of JuJu,but all we see is mutilated & dead bodies. Why don't the remaining ones think of the failed JuJu and quit this senseless lifestyles. No matter how invincible and untouchable u think u become when u join these cult groups, just know this- you can't beat the devil at his game and you can't run faster than nemesis. If you are an aspiring cultist and u are reading this, pls advice urself and shun that demonic idea. And if u are a practicing or active cultist pls it's not to late to quit because a stitch in time saves nine. |
It's good people are coming up with true life stories that shows the consequences of joining and partaking in Cultism. The pain is that now even boys that have not written WAEC and even some in JSS are going far into this rubbish. There was this boy whose parents tried all they could to see him become a responsible child. But all he does is to listen to the voice of the demons telling him to join and fly the colours of a particular cult group. His attrocities became so pronounced to the point that a rival cult traced him to the house but he somehow got hint of their intention and fled b4 they arrived. Can u believe that these idiots had the guts to put the parents of this boy on their knees? Imagine a Mopol kneeling down before secondary school boys he could give birth to just because of a wayward Son! He had no option as they were in their numbers with all sorts of weapons. They told him to produce his son or they will deal with him. His saving grace was that he told them his son hardly sleeps at home and that he doesn't know his whereabouts as he too is looking for him. Just look at the sorrow and pain cultists put their families into. Now,this boy ran away to his LGA somewhere in Kogi State and two days after his disappearance the father started receiving debit alerts on his phone. He had taken along with him his father's ATM card and almost cleared everything there before it was blocked. Back in the villa he turned a thorn in the flesh of the relatives and one particular day an uncle tried to tie his hands and lock him up because of his small frame only for this boy to surprisingly bring down this uncle due to the high level of drugs and tramadol in his system. The uncle on seeing that 'water don pass garri' just left this boy alone. This boy with satanic tendencies started intimidating young ones and introducing secondary school students back their in the villa to cultism and only ran away to an unknown destination when concerned citizens in the village decided enough was enough. We must continue to say no to Cultism till this menace is drastically reduced and eliminated or else more college students and minors will be led into it. |
PassingShot:You should know that everything about the kids in this present generation is just unfortunate. Nairaland of those years was filled with matured and intelligent discuss, but presently 90% of what is posted online now reveals the degradation in both morality and mentality. |
NoBones:Oga,u be true Makurdarian as u just confirmed that incident.Yes,no strong Man is in the game o and anyone can be a cultist irrespective of their outward demeanor. Rough looking people, persons with gentle disposition,Noisy/loud- mouthed people, quiet and soft-spoken humans can all belong,so u can't always judge them by appearance. The only thing common to them is a black heart filled with wickedness and brutality. |
GreenArrow1:You are very correct, they pple u mentioned all died and the tension btw uni Agric and BSU cult groups was at the peak during those years. @ pristine88,u can see that someone else is confirming the story,so not all stories here about cultists are hearsay o,the sound like movies but they are true. If one start saying what these people do,it will look like a script. |
NoBones:Yes,the stories and acts of these blood- thirsty beings seems unreal but just as u rightly pointed out they are authentic at least to those of us from that axis. I remember one rugged cultist in BSU who thought he evaded all mappings and was like a demigod to his fans. The day he was brought down was like a dream to both admirers and non-admirers alike. It was just immediately after lectures and as he was leaving the lecture theatre right in broad daylight amidst his coursemates, the rival cultist sent to carry out this mission impossible walked behind him shouted his name to be sure he was the right target and blew out his brains as he turned back to the call of his name. There was pandemonium everywhere as his body lay motionless on the floor whilst the dare- devil assassin who took this risk of eliminating a major rival lord ran towards the banks of river Benue bordering the University and tried swimming away from his chasers. The scenes from the acts of these cultists are just too gory and gruesome to reveal as it may cause weak minds sleepless nights. If not for the sake of fending off intending cultists from joining cults,I can't relay some of these true life stories here, but we have to speak up to help these young generation to run away from the evils entrenched in Cultism. |
[quote author=Ambitiouscent post=87706627]WORD!!!! Pls do continue to keep the thread alive don't leave it only for the OP as we don't know how many lives may be positively affected by all ur contributions. U are welcome |
True, cultists can be brutal and often do unthinkable things that even makes Satan to shake his head. This one happened in Makurdi around Northbank area and is more than a horror movie. Now,this young man was as gentle as a dove and easygoing. I could vouch for him and swear on his behalf that he couldn't hurt a fly. But unknown to everyone he was the hitman of his group. He traveled both far and near to incapacitate, maim and murder rival cultists. Though he was schooling in KSU,he had the guts to participate in cult activities in Mak Town maybe because he grew up there. Those of u who know about cult rivalry and brutality in Makurdi especially during the years 2000 - 2006 would agree with me that only someone with the heart of a hyena would take part in their dark activities. At that time BSU and Uni Agric hosted the demons of Cultism in the Middlebelt as scores were being counted and recounted. In the midst of all this, this young man with the face of an angel but the heart of a Dracula was mapped out and totured to death by a rival cult group whose members he had serially sent to untimely graves, And the story did not end there because out of anger He was dismembered, cut to pieces, arranged in Ghana-Must-Go bag and the worst of it was that the bag containing his dismembered body parts was placed in front of his Family house. His loved ones woke up to discover the limbs, head and other body parts of their beloved son and sibling at the veranda in the front of the house. Please this is a true life story and I am only saying it here to help intending cultists to think twice. There is no gain in Cultism, only pain. Even if u don't value ur own life, think of ur loved ones and the ones who u will put into unbearable sorrow and heartbreak. |
At least with all thats being said on this thread a human with a little bit of common sense who intended to join this monsters should have sober reflection and think twice B4 he or she becomes part of the statistics and bring sorrow and shame to loved ones. There was this particular boy that the Mum came begging us to allow him do his 6 months I.T. with our Establishment. His stay with us revealed to me some weird things about him, funny enough I kept asking him "are u sure u are not a cultist ?" He could tell my boss that he wants to urinate or get something outside only for him to skip work for a week or more. I was directly in charge of the I.T. students so I tried to interview his colleagues and classmates but they all smiled and refused to say anything about this young man. I kept asking them how he managed to pass his exams back at school without attending lectures up to 300 level, all they said was that he knew his way. On a particular day the mum came crying to our workplace that she had not seen her son for over 5 days. All this while we never knew he was using those periods of absence to carry out bloody hits and assignments for his Cult. Fast forward to three months or thereabout after the I.T program, this young man was killed when he led a group of cultist to attack the vigilante that protected innocent pple from the menace unlished on them by this same cultists. Infact as I type I still see his face and wonder what kind of sorrow and pain the parents especially the mum passed thru ever since his gruesome death. He believed in the efficacy of charms and never knew one day nemesis will call on him. Cultists are brainwashed homosapiens and Cultism is devilish, run for ur dear life if u aspire to become one. |
Very nice app I must say.....but please try and incorporated different stream video qualities so one can regulate amount of data consumed. Options like 160p,240p,360p,720p as we see in other similar apps or 2g,3g,hd etc. Once again Kudos for a gr8 app |
Heroclitus:A very nice line of business, but due to other commitments and nature of my job had to leave it. You can link up with iykepromotions here on nairaland,I learnt a lot from his thread. He is more experienced and vast on the domain sales business. |
saint2ace:What do u think was responsible? Were u charging with phcn or Solar panels or combination of both? Did u overcharge or u allowed batteries to be drained beyond limit? Please share ur experience so we can all learn. |
Experience4u:It's able to based on ur connection, rmber it's a 12volt inverter,so ur connection of both batteries and solar panels must be in parallel. From a personal experience,I can say it has served me well. Once again don't overload it and u will enjoy it. |
dragnet:Offcourse,u can charge using an intelligent battery charger( it came along). I run a 32inch led TV,fans, lights etc. Make sure u don't use heavy consumers like d pressing iron etc. Also, for ur battery to last,ur load should be 150 watts or less. |
Experience4u:We can discuss here so others can learn or u drop ur digits so we chat on WhatsApp if u prefer that |
Experience4u:Have been using this Souer 1kva 12volts modified sine wave inverter for close to 4 years now without any hitch. Very good with digital display and inbuilt 20a charge controller. Never for once has there been an issue.
|
dataking:The qasa 10w fan you suggested to him is really cool. Have been taking full advantage of it's 10watt output for both my solar setup & prepaid meter. Got it on jumia for 10k & very easy to couple. |
Ojochogwusunny:I think the symbol rate for 12538 is 5000 and not 50000. |
eerekake:Make nigcomsat ur primary then attach and track 68.5e above it. |
Trustmeall:I guess are on KU band, the AIT in question should be on C band. So, track C band signal on SES 5....u will get it. |
butterfly777:This is it,the real purpose of the Church is to burn for Christ till His glory is revealed to the lost and struggling. But alas, the modern day drama we call church has lost focus, the glorious gospel of God has been commercialized and the devil has succeeded in making inroads to the altar. Gods altar has been compromised and bastardized. Yes,the altar has been altered,it's either we see those that use diabolical powers and familiar spirits to deceive the lazy and gullible congregation or those that use motivational speeches devoid of divine unction to 'entertain' itching ears. When u read of men like David Livingstone, David Brainerd, Hudson Taylor, Charles Spurgeon,George muller,Watchman Nee, John Hyde (aka praying Hyde), the Wesleys, John Knox, George fox, Samuel Chadwick, A.W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, our own Babalola and a host of others who carried God's presence & unction in their various generations, you will have no option than to weep in ur heart for our present generation. We tend to love the praise of men, compete over church auditoriums, brag about church population, focus more on the gifts than the fruit of the Spirit and rely on our abilities rather than on God in doing His Work. Rmber,God's work must be done in God's way not Man's way, anything short of that renders such work invalid no matter how impressive. We must rmber the biblical warnings about the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. These three are mainly responsible for the deterioration of quality Christianity in the 21st century Church. But our only thin line of hope rests in the fact that God always has His remnants, though few,who are fulfilling his purpose on earth (infact I have seen some here on nairaland because I'm a silent reader on the religious thread). These ones are the actual body of Christ (the true church) who will stand the gates of hell in all it's fury. |
Femiblacky:Alrite,thanks for ur efforts. |
Please can u get ' Sodom had no Bible ' ? I really need it,kindly reply. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:why not make 28/26e ur primary and add nigcomsat on top. That's my own set up. |
Afa sports now doing well... Athletico Madrid vs getafe live on 26e. |
Chinedu7:Only downside is lack of RF out and lnb out |
