PoliticsRe: Pensioners Call On Holy Spirit To Deal With Gov. Ortom Over Nonpaymen Of Pension by Chepos1(m): 10:06am On Sep 08, 2019
This Governor is just so heartless.

He forces people to retire and refuses to pay pension and gratuities.
Last month that he managed to pay salaries, he refused to pay some primary school teachers; reasons been that;
(1)they were underage(somebody that have worked for over 10-30years o)
(2)that they are ghost workers(someone that is a ghost worker will have a staff ID card?)
(3) That their names were erroneously omitted from the payroll(they usually prepare fresh payrolls by January of every year, how come someone that collected June salary is been omitted in July Pay voucher?)
(4) that they are due for retirement(in civil service commission; one should retire either by age or years of service but if you carefully check those he forcefully retired, they are not due using any of the two options above)

THE QUESTION NOW IS; IS ORTOM ON REVENGE MISSION?

Because the primary school teachers voted massively against him for owing them 1yr salaries and almost 4yrs leave bonuses.

I am certain that the Holy Spirit will definitely deliver their petition to God

PoliticsRe: Xenophobia: Protest Rocks Kano Over Attack On Nigerians In South Africa by Chepos1(m): 9:33am On Sep 08, 2019
Gbgists:
Some youths in Kano State on Saturday staged a peaceful protest against xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa.

The youth, who marched from Zoo Road to Audu Bako Secretariat along the State Road, carried placards with various inscriptions condemning the action on Nigerians.

According to NAN, the protesters, who called on the South African government to bring an end to the attacks, said they would not fold their arms while Nigerians are being attacked and killed.

Spokesman for the protesters and Chairman of Joint Action Campaign Against Xenophobic Attack, Khalid Sanusi urged the Federal Government to take urgent steps to check the ugly trend.

Sanusi said the youth would continue to show their anger to such attacks and picket companies owned by South Africa in Nigeria, until measures were taken to end the attacks.

He attributed the high rate of unemployment in South Africa as the major reason behind the xenophobic attacks, and advised the South African government to tackle the issue.

“It must create job opportunities to the teeming number of unemployed youths in their country,” he said.

CrimeRe: Ubelievable! Fowl Killed A 76yr Old Woman by Chepos1(m): 9:36pm On Sep 06, 2019
ezugegere:
CNN) A 76-year-old woman died in Australia recently after a few pecks from a rooster resulted in a catastrophic vein injury.

The alarming conclusion was published in the journal Forensic Science, Medicine and Pathology in late August.

According to pathologists from the University of Adelaide and the Netherlands Forensic Institute, a domestic rooster attacked the woman on her rural property, pecking at her left leg and "causing significant hemorrhage with collapse and death."

"Death was therefore due to exsanguination from bleeding varicose veins following an attack by a rooster," the researchers wrote. Exsanguination refers to draining of the blood, or a significant loss of blood.

The freak accident has less to do with killer fowl and more to do with a tragic confluence of preexisting conditions. The pathologists found the woman had been treated for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes and varicose veins in the past.

"This case demonstrates that even relatively small domestic animals may be able to inflict lethal injuries in individuals if there are specific vascular vulnerabilities present," the paper concludes.
Only her with all these sickness?
They should free the fowl.

CrimeRe: Police Recover 13 Transformers, Arrest 137 Suspects In A’ibom by Chepos1(m): 7:04am On Sep 05, 2019
JosEast:
The Akwa Ibom Police Command says it has recovered 13 stolen transformers belonging to the state government and arrested 137 suspects for various offences. The Police Commissioner, Zaki Ahmed said yesterday in Uyo that the 137 suspects were arrested for offences such as murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, rape, defilement, child stealing, and cultism among others.

He said the transformers, which were recovered from six of the robbery suspects, were stolen from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Uyo.

He said the suspects were apprehended by operatives of the Anti-Cultism Squad based on a tipoff, adding that eight of the transformers were recovered in Owerri.

The CP stated that 13 other suspects have also been arrested for armed robbery, phone snatching, one chance and assault on innocent citizens. He urged the people of the state to be more vigilant and make use of the police hotlines in promptly reporting crimes. He added that the command has increased its response capacity and is closer to the people than before.

“I am happy about the progress made so far at the plaza, where a total of 13 suspects were arrested in connection with armed robbery, phone snatching, one chance and assault on innocent citizens. “In the University of Uyo, normalcy has been restored and tight security emplaced,” he stated.
