Rossinnki:
Like I said, you are free to go. Nobody is stopping you. But you don't get to leave with the South South because they are not Igbo and want nothing to do with your secession.

The ONLY problem with this secession is that you wish to steal a part of the federation that has nothing to do with you, in order to greedily corner the oil and gas resources of the country. It's not because you love the Delta people, since you love only yourselves. You actually consider them lesser beings, drunks and lowlifes.
Oga, no one is interested in SS. The SE is determined to leave even without some Igbos who may not support it talk more the SS whom are not Igbos.
Use your head
Your fear is how you'll survive this contraption and your sojourn into unknown waters standing alone.
Now you wanna show love for same SS you pushed its own away from Aso Rock just for selfish reasons?
Same region you so hate and sucking dry?
The SS are wise enough now; they are currently demanding all oil companies to move their HQs from Lagos and Abuja to SS. You never see anything.

There you go trying to force the Niger Delta region into your 'Biafra land'.

They've told you they are not part of your secession.

Na by force to add them because of THEIR oil?

Thief.

OLE.
So Imo and Abia (oil states) are not Igbos?
So Imo and Abia are no longer Niger-Delta too?
Some of you needs to really be calm, self-educate and get alright before making arguments sometimes

Honestly, it's not even a joking matter. $22.7 billion is not a small amount of money.

Who will repay the part of the loan that will be spent in the south east in the event of secession?

Nigeria?

Why?

The new Biafra state? Why would they want the zoo taking out loans on their behalf in the first place?

By right they should want nothing at all to do with that $22.7 billion loan since it ties them down to an arrangement they were not a party to.
Do you guys study at all or just talk out of sentiments or what?
Bros, this loan will be repaid by Nigeria as an entity Igbos inclusive whether the Igbos likes it or not.
Whether the SE partakes in the loan or not, the FG acts in behalf of all.
Personally, I'm not even bothered whether they ok spend on the SE or not cos half of these monies will sure be relooted
PoliticsRe: Why Do Ipobs Want $22.7 Billion ''Zoo Money''? by Cherez: 7:49am On Mar 09, 2020
Cause they will also join to payback
Sound so unintelligent; the money isn't from oil money, so where is the surety for the loan coming from and from what source will it be repaid?
How foreigners will see arguments like these and think we are all daft

Naija gave the igbos the license to use and tarnish its name in countries all around the world by pushing drugs, selling contrabands, yahoo yahoo, robbery, cultism, human trafficking, kidnapping, Prostitution, baby factories and all kinds of heinous crimes you can think off.

How about that for intelligence?? tongue
Lol
So Igbos are the only ones caught in these crimes?
What human trafficking is worse than the movement of the girl-child for forced marriage silent over the years,

Kidnapping: Evans right? Surprise you Evans hardly killed his victims is if he ever killed them; he releases them when he makes money but guess those killing people on Abuja-Lokoja road, Kaduna, etc.?

Prostitution? Please where is this statistics coming from?

Cultism? Igbos? Check well

Drugs: I agree, very bad of us. But did you know that till date no Igbo leader has been indicted of drug crime or such anywhere in the world but let's check on Buruji Kashamu, Tinubu and even Gbajamaila.

Baby Factories: I agree too, terrible of us.
So, drugs and baby Factories are what gave Nigeria its bad reputation and not the greed and wickedness of your leaders starving their own people?

What is this one talking about?

Is the NE the reason why you are crying and wy your leaders can not deliver anything and must beg from morning till night?

Again, we've seen what you are capable of doing during regional administration when all the regions managed their own affairs when they managed and develop with their own resources, you came last across the board.
Lol
You can't even stay true to an argument, lacking in understanding and direction, a replica of NGA govt.
Oga, NE wails and so NC too and not just the SE.

So show me what your leaders delivered to you?
Regional govt? You came tops?
Stop hyping yourself that even before regional govt the SE was well into palm oil and that was the trade of high demand pro-, during- & post-colonial times.
Yes, aside ABA and some parts of Imo doing badly SE state roads are comparable.
Last across board indeed, that's what you still claim today! Can you publish your lousy figures here for all to see your fake words?

See, the FG has been spending billions of dollars rehabilitating, developing, even giving incentives for your people to attend school while in the SE especially, we eked out our living to attend same school yet, we are above average and not the region with highest poverty index. So may it continue at your peril.

oyatz:
Every Region contribute to the economy of Nigeria. I am ashamed to see supposedly educated Nigerians that don't understand this fact.

1) If all other regions stop working and Nigeria rely only on the sale of crude oil, will the money be enough for the country to import;

All meat we need?
All Leathers we need?
All the yams (including Pando yams) we need?
All the vegetable oil, palm oil, animal feeds?

All the maize?

In fact ,the money won't be enough to import food and clothes for the country

2) For instance, in the S/West ,the production of Agricultural produce, poultry products, Fishes Timber and wood products , livestocks etc meet certain needs of Nigerians. If these aren't produced, then Nigerians will be forced to take her hard earned money to go and buy these products in the international market at exhorbitant prices.

3) If the Northerners don't produce beans, onions, beef, leather, milk, rice etc, we will have to be importing all these at exhorbitant International prices.

The currency of Nigeria would have become worse than that of Zimbabwe.
My question wasn't an absolute one but related to the guy I quoted who says the SE contributes nothing.
So, I asked him, if the SE contributes nothing, what do other regions contribute to get all those stuffs?

The SE also contribute in agriculture Viz; yam, rice, livestock, etc too.

They also said the SE deserves what it gets cos it took up arms against the state. I agree but then why spend millions and even rehabilitate people whom have no reason taking up arms when a huge chunk of NE took up arms against the state too?
Oyatz my guy, I'm one of those Igbos who have accepted our fate in Nigeria; even though being oppressed, I'll never go violent or hate on anyone but remain diligent knowing that GOD got HIS people.

But, I'd like to ask you in all sincerity considering events from the current loans so far in the past 7yrs or so don't you think that an agitation from these people is rightful?
This is why most Igbos keep quiet when NK talks even though most don't support him but the hostility of Nigeria itself supports his attacks.

Personally, I have given up on Nigeria a long time ago but I'll never hate on anyone cos of anything for I'm sure the Igbos will survive this and this has actually made them better at somethings.

At the moment, you can do anything you want, there is now law that prevents you from doing anything in Nigeria so the fact that your SE leaders are useless and incompetent doesn't need Biafra before they do anything.

Other states and region in Nigeria are not crying, waiting and begging the FG to do anything for them, only the SE region their leaders are incompetent, where they generate the lowest IGR, where the leaders can not take initiative or make any proative move.

Under regional administration when you ran your own government when you kept and did whatever with your money and develop at your own pace, the other 2 major regions did better than you, you can not point to 1 single thing your leaders did back then.

We've seen. what you can do when given the autonomy and authority to do things and develop on your own with your own money and resorces so stop fooling yourself

It's all about leadership and vision, something leadership in that part of the country lack.

Get off this silly victim and self crippling mentality that you use to excuse your lazy and visionless leaders and absolve them of their responsibilities

South East has NO VALUE they're adding to Nigeria. They have the lowest revenue generation to Federal government while THEY STILL COMPLAINS AND CASTIGATE MOST
Lowest revenue for the FG, very correct. Let's analyse.
Currently, Ogun state generates heavily only cos of proximity to Lagos.
Now Lagos generates revenue cos of the concentration of FG's facilities there in the instance of airports, seaports, movement of the capital from Calabar to Lagos.
Now, imagine seaports are built in all viable seafront across Nigeria but no you hear of dry ports elsewhere.
(Before you claim I'm jealous of Lagos, Bros Lagos is trying and I want my state to emulate it in certain areas and may GOD BLESS Lagos state and the Yoruba nation who owns it) but the truth is that Lagos was made this rich by FG's nepotism.
Imagine that MM1 is about the only viable & most preferred airport in Nigeria cos of FG's acts.
So, no matter where you're from the South you must board a flight from Lagos, arrive and lodge in a hotel, book taxi, and even a foreign person will most likely spend time there(revenue in tax).
There are other seaports but govt will prefer that Apapa & Tincan is flooded making citizens pay demurrage on goods.
Does it make sense to you?
Same thing applies to Abuja.
The FG strategically drives revenue generation too.
Imagine the current loan request and there's no single project for the SE & tomorrow you'll rush to ask what?
Infrastructure drives development and industrialisation.

What I wrote is pretty straightforward. It is more sensible to ask what ibos have done for Nigeria rather than what Nigeria has done for ibos. That would have given some people the opportunity to respond and educate us. I did not imply anything else.
Now, the question of why Nigeria fought a war to keep Biafra part of Nigeria is a totally different one. The former eastern region was not occupied by ibos alone.
So what has other parts done to deserve all they are getting?
There was a war in Nigeria which was obviously from a good reason (progrom) and no rehabilitation after, now the NE brought BH on themselves and since 2011 there has been rehabilitation programs running into billions of dollars yearly.
Now to what the Igbos have done; the major revenue source for Nigeria is oil and Abia and Imo state contribute to this.
Aside the SS, can you explain what other regions contribute to Nigeria?

PoliticsRe: Kano Vs Imo,but Kaduna Vs Enugu Lets Compere by Cherez: 10:24am On Mar 08, 2020
Quick one:
By stats
1) Kano and Kaduna has never witnessed a war with rehabilitation or even any program like in the NE today.

2) The North has been in power since 1960 till dateand drew investments only to the North & SW. Infact PMB asked World Bank to focus on the North (https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/buhari-asked-us-to-focus-on-northern-nigeria-wbank/amp/)and that's what they've been doing.

3) During military regime, most times the SE had non-SE military governor's.

4) Your basis for comparison void of poverty is then useless. What's your pride when you and your own are hungry? GDP in itself is nothing rather per capita index is everything; biggest economy but hungry people is nothing.

The project never took off at any point in time other than signing dubious contracts. Obasanjo awarded the contract again to the claimant in 2003 but refused to fund it. It had been stalled since then. Buhari has re-awarded it to the Chinese who unfortunately cannot start the project until all legal issues relating to the previous contractor are settled. That’s why government decided to pay compensation to the initial contractor so that the contract can be terminated without any further legal claim and for the Chinese to start work on the project.
Guy, see how you gave reasons for PMB and called OBJ's dubious.
I'd like to give you this point; OBJ got loan pardons for debt by past gifts and built foreign reserve and a strong economy. GOD BLESS YOU BRO
I have said this but with huge respect to my SW brothers; the SW plays a very selfish and malicious politics. Anything that won't benefit them directly or indirectly should perish. But in this case, no person from the SE stood against this.
The Igboman will hardly stand against any good thing for/from the SW (eg Amotekun, OBJ, etc) just to spite of get back at the Yorubas.
Truly, the only regions that actually needs these rehabilitation or development commission's are:
1. NigerDelta due to incessant oil spillage causing environmental degradation
2. NorthEast cos of what they are going through now. Although they are the ones who brought it on themselves via malicious means, but for those kids, women and some vulnerable men in IDP camps and on the streets, I will even personally donate for this cause.
3. SouthEast due to the Biafran civil war. However, I will not support this bill as it is late already and truly the SE has overgrown that stage for special National help but for integration.
The SW proposing this bill is being insensitive and look out the Amosun that built underground house for himself in Abeokuta with billions while leaving the Aworilands in utter dismay talking gibberish and people here are even supporting him. From Agbara to Lambe to Akure to OTA, the roads there are hell cos of neglect by the state governor's while big establishments like Ogun-Guangdong, nestle, etc pays huge taxes.
Wicked politicians. Amosun who ripped Ogun dry is here gaining the solidarity of gullible youths due to tribal bias by faking love for his people, same "constituted authority man" whom could not even show love and maturity to indigenous students of Ogun state?
Don't come here asking me to face SE leaders cos I already do too as I wish Orji Uzor Kali death already for being heartless and leaving Abia in shambles (but don't forget that many Igbos were against Okorocha and Orji Uzor Kalu whom were supported by APC loyalist only due to politics).
