The dad is out there wallowing in pool of ignorance allowing that murderer of a pastor lay hand on his head.

This is saddening for the future of Africa.

UPCOMING EVENT - FRIENDS OF CHESS FESTIVAL 2016 (FIDE RATED)
The Friends of Chess Festival starts on Thursday the 24th of March at the Chevron recreation centre, Gbagada Lagos.
The classical event is over 3 days starting on the 24th with 2 games daily starting at 10 am on Thursday, 9 am on Friday while the start time for Saturday will be communicated to participants during the event (in view of the fact that we are not sure if the day will be an Environmental Saturday or not)
The RATED section will be open to players with a FIDE rating over 2000, players with a FIDE identification number and also players who have a FIDE rating less than 2000 who so desire to play in the section.
The UNRATED section will be open to player not rated or players with a FIDE rating of less than 2000. The female players in the unrated section will be paired against each other in the last 2 rounds as far as this is possible and will be the only ones eligible to win the female prizes.
Time control for both events will be 90 minutes for the entire game with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move 1
The Rapid tournament will also be in RATED and UNRATED categories with the only provison that if you have a rapid rating of over 2000, you must play in the rated section likewise if you don't have a rapid rating but a regular rating of over 2000, if you want to play in the rated section of the rapid, you must either have any kind of FIDE rating or a FIDE identification number. In the last 2 rounds, the female participants in the unrated section will be paired against each other and they are the ones who will be eligible for the female prizes Time control will be 20 minutes plus 10 seconds added on per move for the entire duration of the game.
The tournament for kids will be open to all kids who were not aged more than 15 as at the 1st of January, 2016. Players will play 6 games each, 3 on Friday the 25th and 3 on Saturday the 26th with a flat time control of an hour each per player. All players would be required to record their moves (parents, guardians and coaches please take note!)
The blitz tournament (if it should take place ) will have a time control of 5mins plus 2seconds per participant, the TEAM BLITZ (If it should take place) will comprise of 2 players per team with a time control of 4mins plus 4 seconds per move. Number of rounds for each of these events will be communicated before the start of each event. For the team blitz an innovation will be that one partner will call out the name of a piece to be moved which will be audible to all 4 players in a game and his/her partner has to move such a piece except it is an illegal move.

There is a dept on Nscdc call peace and conflict resolution(pcr)...issues like dis are attended to..and if it involves someone defaulting a vontractual agreement, arrest can be made
The law is clear on what procedure to follow in cases where there is breach of contract, it is clear this approach of arresting people based on involvements in civil agreement is wrong. Reason why things isn't working in the country is we keep doing things like we are in the jungle

Thank u my brother. The guy is a lawyer to some serial fraudster in Akure. They av duped several people millions of naira claiming dey are in partnership with Ondo State Govt of which it was der ploy to defraud people of der hard earned money. Some people should just stop runing their mouths anyhow on diz forum.
You sure do not get the story, If Civil Defence is sure of its a Criminal offence then they should charge the people involved to Court for obtaining under false pretense, if not those who are concerned should sue in a civil capacity , (Guguru defence) are a bunch of idiots with inferiority complex just trying to over do things here, nothing justifies the violence meted on the lawyer who to the best of my knowledge has filed ' enforcement of the fundamental rights of his client' in court a few days before then, a fact that the imbeciles from Mumu defence were aware of and obviously ignored instead of doing things the normal way. we are yet to see CHANGE in the way we do things in Nigeria , it is still business as usual with these animals in Uniform . since dem allow them carry gun dem begin bite like rabid dogs . and for your information , i have a first hand knowledge of the whole story....... i live in Akure, i am a Lawyer and i am also aware Nigerian Civil defence sucks.

1st when and where in year 2000 were you listening to lil Wayne? Even Jay z himself disappeared (retired) for some time to reinvent himself and he mostly sings rubbish now

As for Terry g, no artist can last forever. Nas is one of the greatest rappers ever and he's currently laying low, not because he has lost his talent but because nature will slow each and everyone of us down for others to rise up. even the davidos and wizkids you mentioned will soon slow down for others to rise up

So your wrote up is an absolute shower of sh1t.

And isn't your name rap money? I can assure you if you come into this world 5 times over again you'll still not make half of what Terry g has made in music

P.s Terry g is a producer and he still rakes in money
i agree with you bro . Rapmoney is just a yeye guy . Is 2face the way he was before and let me tell you many talented guys got kinda fade at some point. Terry G made his name , Timaya made his name , me i no know who be mumu Rapmoney o

Wellington Jighere a Nigerian have just been crowned the champion at the World Scrabble Championship in Perth, far away Australia. Some couple of months ago, Nsikak Etim Solomon another Nigerian was crowned the African Champion in South Africa. Nigeria now holds the two trophy. The President of the Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF), Suleiman Garba, in a phone interview attributed the victory to hard work and dedication.

“It is a testimony of the potential of Nigeria as a country and the sacrifice and hard work of the board under my leadership.

“We started preparation about a year ago with seven camps which we christened Scrabble Meets to put our team in shape for the world championship and it has paid off.

“I am very proud of the Nigerian team and very proud to be Nigerian.

“I hope this victory will be made complete when our Golden Eaglets wins the World Cup later today,’’ he said.

Anyhow it prompts me to ask:are you a FIDE rated player? if so what is your rating,if not, why not?
Anwuli is the highest rated Nigerian player in his age category he is number 14 in Nigeria at the moment https://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml?ina=1&country=NGR as for me i am yet to be FIDE rated as i have not been playing in rated events because of my very busy job schedule...... here is a link to my FIDE profile https://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?event=8504458 i will be FIDE rated pretty soon as i intend to play in some Rated event ASAP. i am training hard so i will have a very good initial; rating.
