Primusinterpares: The fact that we don't have price regulations means nothing stops BUA from selling at N3500 if he truly means it.. BUA selling his cement for N3500 will not force Dangote to do anything.. There are 10 cement plant in Nigeria..the top 4 largest are all in owned by Dangote..BUA owns 2 and Lafarge owns 4 Dangote owns over 55% market share.. Another thing to note is that the demand for cement is so high that BUA selling for N3500 will not make them sell more or make Dangote lose patronage.. As at today There are 2 new cement plants under construction in Nigeria because of demands |

Sleekfingers:Lol.. Obasanjo had already completed paper works for Dangote to take over Ph refinery and Otedola will take over warri refinery..before yar adua reversed it..ask yourself why...to whose benefit..if those refineries were in Dangote's hands... A drop of fuel will never pass through our ports.. Yar adua didn't think it through..he reversed it and still left the refinery to rot... GEJ who is naturally sluggish left it as well...so Dangote built one that can handle the demands of Nigeria plus 6 other African countries...so he own is government own a threat to him? Please think |

Sleekfingers:Are you well? So Dangote is the reason why Obasanjo , yar adua and Jonathan left our refineries to fail and kept approving billions in the name of TAM for looters.. Nonsense and ingredients.. The Nigerian government saw it as shameful if Dangote can build his refinery bigger than all 3 government owned combined.. It's that shame that is making them to rush and repair that dead and buried port Harcourt Refinery of meagre 60,000bpd when Dangote is doing 650,000 Bpd..even BUA is building 200,000bpd.. Nigerians are just confused hypocrites 1 Like 1 Share |
Politics / Re: EFCC Operatives Conduct Search At Dangote Head Office Over FX Transactions by Chesster: 10:02pm On Jan 04 |
TollinsN: What atrocities.. Did he pack the money in foreign banks? Dangote came open and clear that it is not possible for him alone to build a $19 billion refinery without government coming to help .. Dangote groups does not export anything large enough to generate USD...their revenues are largely in naira and the currency of every African nation they operate in.. Emifiele obviously maid the doors to reserves so easy definitely in exchange for bribe .. if Dangote succumbed to it would you blaim him...Do you know the wickedness of the average civil servant in Nigeria?.. Even if Emifiele knows the impact of his refinery project..he can fustrate it if his pocket isn't settled... it's the normal system in government.. Buhari approved it though and nothing bad about that..Emifiele mis used such right.. After all have you asked your self how other billionaires like Folorunsho alakija became rich?..what about Otedola who was caught after bribing law makers for subsidy scams... Have you called them...what about shell who has been looking Nigeria in USD since 1963.. Now you have someone who built what no government in Africa can do.. employs more than the federation government and many state governments combined..and Una carry Una mouth dey wail.. His company is one of many operating in the country who bribe their way through the system.. ..after all..Then no born Tinubu well to touch him..after recking the reserves..they will still depend on his refinery to regain back those Forex 2 Likes 1 Share |

Charly68: They are far better than looters that stack money in foreign banks.. The rich men you are referring to have thousands of workers in Nigeria..Dangote and Bua combined employs more than the Federal Government.. Those two own more than 15 factories scattered across Nigeria...they are one of the very few to take up the responsibility of the federation government by building federal highways.. Nigerians don't know their enemies..a witch stole billions as petro minister and is currently cruising in the UK... Nigeria is still recovering the loots of sanni abacha till today..those two have no single Nigerian employee.. Shell is the biggest looter of all companies operating in Nigeria... evidence too full ground.. Has EFCC gone to disturb them..have Nigerians called them out?.. |
Politics / Re: NNPCL Delivers Fourth 1 Million Barrel Tranche Of Crude Oil To Dangote Refinery by Chesster: 6:51pm On Jan 02 |
MeineMutter: The pipes Dangote layed are to channel gas for the 400MW powerplant and to be used as feedstock for the petrochemical plant.. Secondly..a read carefully before you quote..I didn't say 1m barrel of crude is needed everyday to produce gasoline of 650k pbd a day. If a refinery is pegged at 650,000bpd crude processing capacity.. that refinery will require no less than between 600,000barrels of crude daily at least for optimal production and efficiency .. meaning NNPC should be supplying their 1 million barrels every 2 days.. Thirdly.. the refinery is only granted license to process over 300,000bpd https://punchng.com/dangote-refinery-secures-licence-to-refine-300000bpd-crude/?amp Even the license from DPR is 500,000 bpd license despite having 650,000bpd capacity |

Politics / Re: NNPCL Delivers Fourth 1 Million Barrel Tranche Of Crude Oil To Dangote Refinery by Chesster: 9:00am On Jan 02 |
While this is commendable... A refinery that can process 650,000bpd will need a stock of at least 1 million barrels of crude delivered every 2 days.. it took NNPC weeks to deliver this.. Anyways their license is around 300,000bpd..all we are waiting for is for the refinery to begin selling products 3 Likes |

Below are all the planned major rail line that are to be developed. .Lagos - Kano, Lagos-calabar(costal rail line), warri-abuja and port Harcourt - Maiduguri.. Which of these lines do you think will generate the most traffic by your statistics? (The ministry of transport has already done this and they selected Lagos - Kano) |
