Now the lagos-ibadan and abuja-kaduna-kank route are all on the same rail line which is from lagos -Kano..

Below are all the planned major rail line that are to be developed.

and port Harcourt - Maiduguri..

Which of these lines do you think will generate the most traffic by your statistics?
(The ministry of transport has already done this and they selected Lagos - Kano)

From the money you save, buy a brand new laptop with at least 8 to 16gb ram.. In fact, Google the specifications that a laptop should have to be used for coding.

The laptop won't pass 450k, do enough data, go and inquire about a tech school around you were you can learn web programming and design and also video editing.

Learn it with passion, and at night learn on YouTube, when you feel you're perfect, head over to Upwork and open a profile, start bidding for the job, you will surely get your first gig, and believe me, it will get better from there.

And when that happens, you will turn from a struggling dude to a Fresh Dude...

I'm talking from experience.

I already have a laptop .. I learnt video editing and tried Freelancing on fiverr and Upwork..on Upwork I got nothing.. literally wasted all my connects on 2 accounts..on fiverr..I barely got impressions not to talk of views on my gigs ..

I tried learning programming once, I realised it's really not for me as I couldn't cope..

My parents are sponsoring me through school.. that allowed me save up nearly everything I earned.. and this is over 2 years of constant savings

You know the issue. If they had connected Lagos/South West with East and South South, the traffic in that route would have paid off the debt. It is similar reason why they built the largest refinery in Africa in Kaduna while the oil to be refined is in far away Niger Delta , we know the result.

All your write up is false...first Kaduna refinery has the smallest capacity (110,000bpd) compared to port Harcourt(210,000bpd) and warri(125,000bpd). and even port Harcourt and warri refinery that are located where the oil is also died..that should tell you your point is invalid..in fact the state of Kaduna refinery is much better than the other two as only the pipelines need serious attention..

At no point was Kaduna refinery referred to as the largest in Africa .. another false statement

The revenue generation from the rails has little to do with where they are built... With the way they are being built government can not finance Lagos to the east at once ..
It is done in phases..
The problem is they are connecting two cities maximum at a slow place...if they complete Ibadan to Abuja.. then we have a full line from lagos to Abuja to kano..

that route will generate more than Lagos to the east..

However, the slow pace of works plus the subsidy is why revenue is low..


There was once a time port Harcourt to aba was running on farely good trains.. did it generate more? No

The first issue is the cost of building the railway…. It was inflated…. Secondly the route is not profitable

the route is profitable..the rail fee is being subsidized plus the entire rail isn't finished.. if Ibadan to Abuja section can be completed including the inland ports for cargos ..then more will be generated

Before my NYSC, I was determined to work in a company. I was posted to a secondary school to teach but the school rejected me. I visited all the companies in the state and the last one I visited accepted me. Six months into the service, the company notified me of their intentions in employing me due to my outstanding inputs.
Employed immediately after the service year, sent to Siemens for trainings on Programmable Logic controller (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives, Industrial Automation etc. Later sent to Russia on industrial Electronics.
This area of career is mostly occupied by Expatriates in Nigeria, some are even Indians. There are job vacancies for this job because very few are into it mainly because it's hard to learn and the cost of training is very high.
With Dangote refinery coming on board, I advice Nigerian youths to venture into this field of Automation or else the Indians will continue to enjoy the space.

If the government is in dire need of the space for public reasons, they should endeavour to provide an alternative before demolition.

There is no alternative..the new terminal is under utilized because of insufficient space ...what is creating insufficient space is the presence of hangars and some buildings which FAAN has demolished some.. Oyedepo's hangar is on queue

So I opened an Upwork account recently, I have submitted 3 proposals of which I wasn't given the job.

The question is there are a lot of people claiming to have made millions on Upwork and are offering courses on it. Is it necessary to really buy these courses which are usually 30k+..

Can some really succeed on Upwork with or without these courses.
