Interesting first half
The Ref was controversial though, denied Mancity 2 clear penalties...Aguero and Yaya

Yaya's should have come with a straight red for Rojo...Really controversial

De gea has been Monstrous, proving his mettle today...Di Maria has been awful, having a poor....Generally it has been an eventful 1st half

I believe the Manchester derby is better than any london derby, and that's basically because no london club can match CHELSEA...The Blue Army

I Rep CFC ...I always #KTBFFH

So wrong.

I've been using the ATM for over 8 years and more than 1,500 times and I've never received the wrong amount of money from the ATM.

Now, this guy is saying that within two days, the machine dispensed the wrong amount of money 3 times. Abi ATM dey look face?

He should go and sit down.

TravelLAGOS Is The Worst Place I've Ever Visited — American Travel Expert by chesterlee(op): 9:13am On Oct 31, 2014
Many of us say, "That was the worst place in the world!" But
really: How many of us truly have the authority to say that? Lee
Abbamonte does. He's the youngest American to visit all 193
member nations of the United Nations, and he's well on his way
to visiting all 324 on The Travelers’ Century Club list, which
includes territories and unique destinations in addition to
nations. (Lee expects to have 321 of the 324 countries checked
off by the end of the year).

Below is what he wrote about Lagos
As far as I am concerned, Lagos, Nigeria, is the
worst place on planet Earth. I’ve never
experienced so much corruption in my life. It was
just a horrific experience getting into the country.
Crossing in from Benin, we got shaken down by
the border guards. In addition to the multiple
police shakedowns, the multiple ATM issues were
enough for me; three times in two days, the
machines dispensed the wrong amount of money.
It was oppressive and hot. I couldn’t tell you one
good thing about that place."

Anyone who reads this garbage
and has never been to Lagos would really think this city is that horrible...Crazy!

PoliticsAtiku Accuses Jonathan Of Running Government Of ‘clientelism’ by chesterlee(op): 5:29pm On Oct 28, 2014
By Daud Olatunji
ABEOKUTA-Former vice-president, Alhaji Atiku
Abubakar, Monday, said President Goodluck
Jonathan runs government of ‘clientelism’, and
nepotism which only his cronies and family benefit.
Atiku also said the presidential system of
government under Jonathan has been turned to
presidentialism, in which the president wields
enormous power, where he favours only his cronies.
The
former vice- President stated this at a press
conference held at Olusegun Obasanjo President
Library, Abeokuta, to herald a two-day Atiku
Abubakar policy review summit.
Abubakar who spoke through the Director-General,
Atiku Campaign Organisation, Prof. Babalola
Borishade, lamented that the country was being
misgoverned by the present administration.
According to him, presidentialism means the
systematic concentration of political power in the
hands of one individual or a cabal.
He said, “as a result, effective accountability and
representation through popular democratic
participation is giving way to personal rule and single
party dictatorships rooted on politics of Clientelism.
“Clientelism refers to the awarding of personal
favours among patrimonial cronies. These favours
take the form of public sector jobs, appointments,
distribution of resources through licences, contracts
and tax wavers.
“Corruption, nepotism and official impunity have
brought our country down to the bottom 3 per cent
in the world in terms of political stability.
“In essence, what we have now in Nigeria is a form of
patrimonial democracy. This is posing serious
threats to the durability of democracy.
“Not only because it erodes civil liberties of citizens,
thus creating a culture of political apathy and
disenchantment among them, it also severely limits
the extent to which Government can be pressed to be
responsive and accountable towards the citizens.
“Thus, for both of those who are inside and outside
the network, the future is bleak,”he said.
He said Nigerians need democracy of substance that
would respond to their socio-economic demands and
bring about improvements in their living conditions,
and that was the aim of the policy review by resource
persons.
Speaking on his desire to govern the country, Atiku
said, the country should not be ruled by greenhorn,
saying, only the experienced knows what governance
means.
According to him, people with experienced should be
allowed to governed because the country needs
people with wealth of experience.

Mynd44:
Are we still on this issue? Do these folks realize the chaos that would happen should each religious body out there be allowed to wear their religious outfits?
its so unfortunate that some of our muslim folks fail to reason like that.

Nigeria is gradually turning into a very religious sensitive country.

What would Hjab add to a life of an average Muslim kid?

PoliticsMuslim Group To Support Any Candidate Who Will Allow Hijab In Schools by chesterlee(op): 8:09am On Oct 27, 2014
Joint Muslim Forum pledged support to any
candidate for Lagos governorship, who will allow
wearing hijab in public schools.
Earlier this month, Lagos High Court upheld the ban
by the state government on wearing hijab, despite
the protest launched by Muslim students near the
office of governor Babatunde Fashola.
The Muslim group revived the issue on Thursday,
October 23, having released the press statement
in reaction to the High Court judgement. One of the
key points reads:
“We have resolved to give our votes to any
candidate from any political party who is ready to
grant us religious freedom.”
