Christianity EtcRe: Do The Dead In Christ Go To Heaven Or Await Ressurrection? by Chiblessing(f): 1:13pm On Oct 08, 2018
1THESS 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.…
Christianity EtcRe: Daddy Freeze Reacts To Foluke Adeboye's Marriage Advice: 'Go To Your Pastor 1st' by Chiblessing(f): 1:09pm On Oct 08, 2018
What she said is okay. Your pastor will ask questions about your spirituality during and after courtship and if the relationship will ruin you spiritually. Your parents will ask where the person is from and if the families 'fit'.

I will rather die than joining Christianity,Why are these People like this,You call them your spiritual leaders and they are misleading you........I repeat,Will rather die than being Christian
Where is the misleading? Your parents ask 'Where is he/she from?' Your pastor asks 'Is he/she born again? Can you really live with this person and remain a christian? Pastor first because he is interested in your spirit man.

Music is a spirit. Very few artistes start out clean and stay clean. Just about everyone has gone to the gutter even after promising to stay true to the art. There is something that makes them eager to be filthy.

Nigerians should always learn to treat their maids well, otherwise the maids will always fight back

#SayNoToMaidMaltreating
Excuse me, did you hear or read anything about maltreatment? What if the madam was nice and the maid was a bastard of an ingrate? Somebody died for heaven's sake and the devil of a maid took valuables while running away. That is a murderer and thief, there is no excuse for either misdeed.

You talk like a f00l! And I am being charitable here. Walahi. Kofi Annan is a former UN Sec Gen. Has any Shitnigerian mudder fugger ever occupied that post? Hell NO grin you apes are not goo d enough. Na to kill each other uba sabi!

Okonjo Iweala's lived most of his life in Ghana.
To call you a fool is to compliment you. Our World bank V.Ps outclass your UN Sec Gen. A UN Sec.Gen is merely a mouthpiece, he has no real power. Okonjo Iweala is a woman and she lived most of her life in Nigeria and America. We once had a Nigerian Commonwealth Sec.Gen., Emeka Anyaoku. Do you know we supply most of your electricity? Talk too much and we will cut you off. Don't bite the finger that feeds you. We can refuse your actors and actresses work in Nigeria - they'll starve since Ghana has no money to sustain them. We rock, you suck. We crush you guys easily. How many foreigners compliment you guys on anything. See as una dey black like satan.

I've been transitioning for 3 months now and I haven't seen any undergrowth.I have really very long hair and like u said maybe that's why its taking too long.
I can't do the big chop cos my hair is really long so I guess I just have to be very patient and cut my relaxed hair gradually.
Thank you for ur feedback dear
Harden your hair. Use detergent to washyour hair daily and it will harden and become spongy. It will revert to natural ultimately. This will take about one month.

That's why it's called makup. When you wear makup ,you don't look the exact same way you do or would've looked without it.
Get the point. With makeup, she looks pretty. Without makeup, she looks hideous. She ought to look okay (even if not pretty) without make up.

You probably need to listen to more rap music. Eve is good and I love her rap flow, but there are other great and better rappers. We have great rappers like Queen B(Lil Kim), McLyte, Lauryn Hill, Foxy Brown, Lady of Rage. Whether they're better than Eve-olution is subject for another conversation.
You mentioned olden day rappers. Talk about the modern ones.
CelebritiesIs Beyonce Bad Luck? by Chiblessing(op): 10:12am On Oct 04, 2018
Have you noticed that almost everybody Beyonce has worked with is down or dead? In 2001 she and her group members sang 'Good to me' with gospel duo, Mary, Mary, their careers are gone. In 2002, she sang, 'Nothing out there for me' with Missy Elliot, and the song title explains Missy's state today. In 2003, she sang ' The closer I get to you' with Luther Vandross, he died. In 2006, she sang 'Check on it' with rapper Slimthug, his career is gone. In 2006 and 2008 she sang with Usher in the songs 'Bad girl' and 'Love in this club remix' respectively, Usher's career is gone. In 2009, she sang 'Telephone' with Lady Gaga, her career is gone.In 2011, she sang 'Love a woman' with Mary J. Blige, her career is down. In 2014, she sang 'Feeling myself' with Nicky Minaj, her career is gone.
Guys, seriously, Beyonce has not said the 'thing' she does to people who work with her - they are all dropping off. Even her husband, JayZ whom she has worked with on many songs cannot stand alone as a sole headliner, it is always Jay Z and Kanye or/and Rihanna etc as co-headliners. Even his solo songs - non collabos, don't do well. Hmmn, that girl, she be ogbanje. What is the name of the 'juju' that makes people run dry once you associate with them?

One thing with growing up poor is that when you finally become rich, you are likely to overdo the 'acquisition thing' by going on endless shopping sprees. Such a person most likely will end up poor again. It happens everywhere - think of typical black american rappers for e.g.

[quote author=Kajina post=15350785]LOL! Is this guy still on this issue huh Well, did you listen to how nurses is pronounced from the link I provided you with? I guess you didn't grin BAD STUDENT grin Well, it will tell you that NURSES is not pronounced NORSES like Nigerians do grin I know you are trying very hard to make it seem like your word pronunciation is good, but frankly speaking it’s one of the worst in Anglophone Africa. You posted a video for me to watch, but this same video reveals a lot of flaws in Nigerian English pronunciation. I believe you did not pay attention to how words were pronounced both by the queen and the newscasters. I suggest you go back and listen to it again and pay close attention to the following words:

Nation, reaction, expression, incomprehension, emotions, devotions, determination.

Did you hear the queen say nashon, reacshon, expreshon, incomprehenshon, emoshon, devoshon, detaminashon like Nigerians do?

The TION in those words were pronounced as SHIN not SHON like Nigerians do grin grin grin cheesy

I also captured some other words Nigerians have problem with. listen to the video again and also pay attention to the following:

Country was not pronounced contry like Nigerians do

Return was not pronounced retorn like Nigerians do

Sons was pronounced as sans despite the fact that it has the letters ON in it.

Sunday was not pronounced sonday like Nigerians do

Saturday was not pronounced Satorday like Nigerians do.

Concern was not pronounced consaan like Nigerians do

Others was not pronounce odas like Nigerians do

Terms was not pronounced taams like Nigerians do

Her was not pronounced haa like Nigerians do

Happened was not pronounced hapund like Nigerians do.

Person was not pronounced paason like Nigerians do

In your post you mentioned how Ghanaians pronounce HER. Listen again and pay attention anytime the queen pronounced it, and tell me if she said HAA like Nigerians do. She pronounced it just like Ghanaians do cheesy

So please leave your TV and radio personalities alone to do their work. They have seen the flaws in their pronunciation, so they are switching to the Ghanaian English pronunciation grin Do you want them to say porshoe instead of pursue? angry angry angry

BTW it baffles me when I hear you guys pronounce the word pursue as PORSHOE and pursuing as PORSHOEING. I mean what is the concept of POR and SHOE in the word pursue? grin grin grin cheesy

I hope this video you posted and the link I provided you with, would help you too grin But first you need to admit you have a problem with your pronunciation grin

Not all Nigerians pronounce words as you depicted. Some do and some do not. Pursue Vs Porshoe is something I acknowledge - it is one of the most mispronounced in Nigeria but there are Nigerians who rightly say Pursue. Your accents SHOULD NOT be compared with British accents - that is a stretch, a long one at that. Ghanaians do not sound like the British at all. The accents are very different. Nigerian newscasters especially on NTA and Channels tv are perfect examples of what polished Nigerians sound like. We could never aspire to sound like you guys, we are too busy laughing at your pronunciations:
Work Werk
Happen Herpen
Second Sercend
You guys also emphasize the first syllable ,where you should emphasize the second syllable and vice-versa. Some words are unrecognizble to English speakers when you guys pronounce them. The truth is a bush Nigerian and a bush Ghanaian both sound terrible. A polished Nigeran and a polished Ghanaian both sound good but the Nigerian may be slightly better. Would you prefer 'Norses' or 'Neesis' attending to you?
