EducationRe: ASUU Suspends Strike, NEC To Inform Members On Wednesday by chiboy429(m): 4:05pm On Dec 17, 2013
It is high time ASUU and other union in the sector device more distinctive strategies to address inadequecies other than striking.

Standard of Education in Nigeria over the years since independence has being on the plummet till date. Government on their part has played major role to revitalise the system . But because of shift in paradigm of power from one administration to another,Education in the country has suffered greatly in the hands of our past leaders. Though, there were past leaders who took holistic measures to revamp and improve the system ,likewise one’s that paid lip services to the standard of education in our beloved country.
However, since the establishment of tertiary institution of learning in Nigeria, industrial action by various unions in the educational sector has being a tool to drive their demands to and from the public and the stake holders of the sector in question. This actions sometimes is in the interest ,for improvement in the sector.
Various unions such as Academic Staff Union Of universities (ASUU),Non Academic staff Union Of Universities (NASUU),Senior Staff Association Of Universities (SSANU),Nigeria Union Of Teachers(NUT),Nigeria Association Of Technologists (NAT) et al has embarked on national strike for one reason or the other ,ranging from salary structure, conducive working environment, improvement of standard in the system, structural development.
Consequentially, Proper analysis of the period of strike in the Educational sector, taking the university sector as a case study, is able to graduate a student offering a four years course. But this precious years is being wasted on strike.
It is now imperative for lecturers and teachers to resort to more proficient measures as alternative to address their issues other than using incessant strikes to halt Academic activities in our citadel of learning.
Practically,we must be able to identify the problems that militates our standard of Education. Which includes inadequate funding, infrastructural deficit, poor learning environment, poorly equiped laboratories and insufficient research materials and tools.
Further more, having known those afore-mentioned inadequacies, the Government have a major role to play because lesson learnt from the nearly six months old ASUU strike that started on july 1 2013 shows that our universities,in short our tertiary institutions are all poorly funded.
For us to standardise our Educational system, we must invest reasonable amount of our annual budgetary fund into the system.
First and foremost, the Government must invent feasible and indigienous strategies that will enhance revamp of the sector.
Firstly, the government should impose a 1 percent Educational tax on every import to the country.
Secondly, every worker in the country should invest 0.5 percent of their salary into Education.
Thirdly, the salaries of senators,Governors,Chairmen, lawmakers, and ministers should be pruned by 50 percent and aftermath be invested into Education.
Fourthly,it is not enough to make, implement this measures but a body should be set up that will oversee the proper flow of those implemented strategies.
In Addition, policy must be made to checkmate the body or agency in charge of the Educational fund. And no immunity clause should be attached to it regardless of status, achievement or social class of anybody.
Subsequently,as the fund is realised,it must be used to settle the various problems lingering on in the sector that has resulted to concurrent strikes since past years.
More also, this fund must be disbursed equitably across the institution using a well strategised master plan. Also frequent monitoring must be practised by Agencies such as NUC ,NPC and Other similar bodies incharge of Education in the country with the federal Government being the final superviser.
We must make the sacrifice that is involved if we want a competitive and standard Education in Nigeria, all the loads are not totally bestowed on the federal or state Government. We have our own individual role to play as citizens of this great nation.
Lastly, promising investors should not shy away but encouraged to invest into the system and collaborate with Government on this subject matter.

PoliticsRe: Obasanjo To Jonathan: ‘Keep Your Reply, Save Nigeria!’ by chiboy429(m): 10:13am On Dec 16, 2013
In my own humble view ,OBJ,should go and sit down. During his two dispensation as a military and civilian head of state how did he fight his so called ascertions. Basically lets talk of corruption as per se,what was his achievement on that regard.?

What he did was implementing a mis-informed advice by then world bank stalemate in the person of Okonjo Iweala. Went ahead and dumped huge amount of dollars there. Even at his own tenures corruption was still at an unbearable rate worst than that of Abacha's. What was his last resort? He went ahead establishing the EFCC,just to create an impression to the Americans and the European overlords that he is fighting it.

The ota farmer should never forget that this is the time and era of enlightment, except one chose to be ignorant. Was he not the one that was fighting for a third term ,trying to manipulate the rules and the lawmakers just for his selfish interest. Anybody who is a subject and loyalist to the ota farmer is nothing but one eating with the devil using a short spoon.

What did he achieve by writing and publishing such derogatory remarks that is capable ,even ruined down more on the image of the country not that of GEJ,just because GEJ refused to follow his rules and rejected his demands. At a time like this when the country is in such a state of imbalance ,he wouldnt have joined the band wagon in denigrating the Jonathans administration that is capable of creating deadly tension able to destablising the society.

Such a situation like this needs proper and rational analysing to get the whole joke. It is a shame for someone to go to the public lamenting and counter accusing a fellow just because the fellow refuse to grant you your demands.

What GEJ should do now is to jump over the devil and his blind children, OBJ can not deny him if chooses to go for a second term because it is constitutional to do so ,even OBJ himself wanted a 3rd term had it been he was stopped by conscious and correct caretakers.

Advices, suggestions and unity for mutual coexistency is need now from every one to move the nation forward. GEJ should invest more to fight corruption, unemployment, improve education and healthcare. We have to drop our sentimental sicknesses, religiousity and ethnocentrism because we all are from same source and unto same source we go .we should come back to the alajobi of old/ one love family of old that enabled us achieved and built the first civilisation . It is only LOVE we need.

If they like they should go to indefinite mourning for him. What about the lives of thousands of Nigerian students that were wasted and lost just within this period ,how many respect was paid to them.?
Why allowing and imposing unnecessary karma of another man on other people,no doubt that he die on this fight to revamp the educational status of the country but every man should be treated equal no man should be idolised because what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

What a sad and disheartened story .

Look at what our society is turning into, where are we heading to ?what are our hope of surviving here on earth if we continue living this way,?

It is however,no doubt that as far as there are slaughter houses, such stories will still remain with us and inevitable. When one can see his or her fellow human being butchered without a deep feeling of cruelty. What and what are we not going to hear ?

The perpetrator, whatever he is called should be properly detained and sanctioned . The pre informed message to his mother proves his level of preparedness of his achieved motive and such a person can not be taking on the basis of psychological dysfunctioning because according to an old saying 'A tought and plan which involved the killing of someone was never conceive in a day'which implies that he is a very conscious person.

Non the less, why are we shocked my fellow nairalanders? We have been doing same to our fellow lower human being for the past decades of years without sympathy just to meet our daily meal. There aint going to be a solution to this except we stop our cruelty and wickedness by living in harmony with every creature on earth for mutual coexistency.

Interesting, she was prepared before commiting such an a prori blunder and misappropriation of fund. My opinion here is not in anyway against any body or agency to put in place required facilities that enhances proficiency in carrying out one's due duty. But the question is,why such exorbitant expenditure. Again, why the absence of preknowledge of mr president on such incurement and other bodies for final approval. I think ,she must be sufficiently scrutinized and sanctioned because her analysis and explanations shows no adequate clarity and its still has some atom of doubt. To serve as a detterent to others, because it is now like anybody could just wake up and decide on whatever blunder to do in the country and gets away with it untouched.that is why similar cases like this keeps on erupting. We should try as much as possible to restore due process in the country

EducationRe: ASUU Strike Will Be Over In Few Months – Wike by chiboy429(m): 2:03pm On Oct 24, 2013
From my own view, during the senate meeting held yesterday concerning the industrial action that has become a nation wide threat even to the unborn child, the senate has a point and the senate president has hit the nail on the head . In such a very devastating impasse that has lingered for over 4 months now. It is imperative for renegotiation with GEJ,senate and ASUU reps from this end a feasible understanding and compromise will be reached. If at this juncture the almighty ASUU still insist under compulsity their 2009 Mou implementation that without that,no heads way,it is then a crystal clear prove of their uttermost certainty, their motive will be judiciously ascertained.Furthermore, wike's derogatory remark shows the level of insincerity towards the problem and should be cross examined he has a hiding agenda behind.

@ketoprofen ,thank u very much for you view, the tofu i mentioned above is 100% from soya beans, other fruits cereals and vegetables inclusive, never forget that daniel in the bible and his frnds lived healthier ,fresher and happier than the babylonians,.

Also soya milk is very essential source of milk for up growing kids than all this conventional milk in the market for children, due to the high fatty and cholestorol content.

Let me give you guys hint:do u knw that it takes the acid in the human body 15 secs to dissolve a razor blade but also takes this same acid 3 to 4 days to digest fully meat taking into the system.this automatically shows that the body is overloaded and breaks down easily in subsequent time.from America institute of physiology 2010 article. compare this same overload to a generator ,how does it perform when overloaded.the end result is that it will breakdown.therefor never forget you are turning your body into mortuary.
FoodRe: Are There Vegetarians In Nigeria? by chiboy429(m): 3:38pm On Oct 05, 2013
Yes there are lots of meat alternatives if you are finding it difficult.you dnt eat seafoods, snails or eggs and refer your self to be a vegie.so as a vegan being the total abstainance to anyform of animal or by products ,you go for Wara, chunk,TOFU,there are lots and lots of vegie meals, snacks and spices/fruits vegetables etc that make you a happy vegie.its a wonderful experience.you dont worry about any form of disease or sickness becaure you are safe, call it diabetes,heart/kidney failure,BP OS what ever name you like.
FoodRe: Are There Vegetarians In Nigeria? by chiboy429(m): 2:55pm On Oct 05, 2013
Am a proud veggie right from birth,am 20 now and both parents are also.its a wonderful experience being a veggie,it takes nothing from you to be one rather you live longer, stronger and healthier. from months to months, year to year you dont need drugs or visit hospitals for any reasons.

Its a live of ahymsa,a live without destruction, you live and see the animals in harmony with creation,it excludes any form of cruelty on them ,they will never be afraid of you .even dangerous animals like snakes wont harm you because you dont harm them or kill them, because whatever we do to others is what others do unto us vice versa.there is more to being a veggie.

At times those animals reveal secrets to you that you never know in creation because some of them are as old as creation but lost the crown of coming as a human being due to either one reason or the other.Today ,am glad to tell you that its not a matter of boasting or bragging that my grand parents are the oldest persons in Ndokwa land in delta state and they are healthier and stronger.

So my fellow NL,am not making it as a mandate but its the best lifestyle ever.

Any one who choose to or finding it difficult to practice due to one reason or the other should feel free to contact me this is my email address Chiboy429@gmail.com.or my mobile number +234(0)8182161527,it does not affiliate to any cult am telling you.any body saying it is just ignorant and must not be taken serious.

Never forget that blood is sacrilege, anybody shedding and eating blood is nothing but witchcraftcy, vampirism and cannibalism,.take a minute and go to the abatoir and see how this animals cry out to the creator and how they are brutally killed just for our merriment and enjoyment, meanwhile the parents of those babies killed are crying and weeping everyday for their dead loved ones.THINK TWICE,if you cant feel their pain therefore you are not a human being.

Wishing you all the creators love and blessings.

There should know that threat is not the best and practicable thing. As a good enterpreneur it is adviceable to enter into negotiation.Because even if they leave ,it will create more medium for other investors in the sector and Nigeria will never loss in any way.Again ,remember Nigeria has a better feasibility platform that encourages rapid growth of any business compared to Ghana in terms of manpower, resources, population et al.

PoliticsRe: Militants Kill 44 In A Mosque In Borno. by chiboy429(m): 12:46pm On Aug 13, 2013
Boko Haram guys and group, whether you like it or not is a politically infested plaque in the country.
Going back to records the sect which was formed in the early 2000,was initially in the motive to end western education.
Which was seen by them as a taboo for practising western education.
But the irony is that these people who are against westerneducation are still making and utilising the proceedings from the taboo they are fighting against, such as telecommunication, cars, amenities, technology etc etc.
At the initial stage,it was not bloody as it is today, before the emergence of presidential leadership from south – south zone of the country.
During and after the presidentialelection in Nigeria that presidentGoodluck Ebele Jonathan emergeas president of the country, the northern leaders announced that the administration of the Goodluck Jonathan will be ungovernable if he did not step down.
What was their motive of pronouncing that statement? and how can it be intertwinned to the boko haram incessant killings and insurgencies which has caused insecurity, lost of lives, properties and sleepless night to Nigerians for the past years and especially since president Jonathan assumed office.
Looking at the boko haram insurgency analytically ,one will access that it is all politically sponsored by the northern leaders.
If not why die they make that statement.
*stopped the federal government from taking the adequate step to flush out the plaque.
*why are the northern leaders folding hands and watch the sect to claim many lives.
*why have’nt they called their children and caution them.
*why the increase in their insurgent acts since the Jonathan’s administration.
In the real sense of things, one will realise that islamic religion isin no way violent as people viewit.Islam is a religion that fosters peace,LOVE,and mutual co-existency.
Invariably, this group is in no way related to islam as people have it,they are on their own sponsored by the northern leaders as a tool to achieve their aim of making the Jonathan’s administration ungovernable.
However on these note that, the northern leaders should be called and questioned properly on these subject matter to look for a way of putting an end to this live claiming insurgencies ofboko haram.
Recall, when the niger delta militancy was given their own headache, the niger deltan leaders was called on ,before there now reasoned amicably and resolved the misunderstanding.
It is on this note that, the government should also follow thesame due process in dealing with boko haram, before we go into extinction.source http://enews.com.ng/boko-haram-a-politically-infested-plague-in-nigeria/

Patient and sincerity is all we nid in d country ,a situation whereby misunderstanding prevails btw 2 groups you cant use war to curb and maintain understanding.NIgeria we believe in,we as youths must try to see things the way it has to be seen. However what are we trying to say in essence, our leaders are taking the growth and development of these nation for granted, reasons if you may asked me i dont know because we all are aware of the trend of things in our beloved country. Then we as youths we must try to be sincere in everything we do for chance has it that we may be there one day.
ASUU strike and fg palava has distabilised the future of the nigerian students for the past years because of poor management and misappropriation of fund.Any one who say any sector in Nigeria is lacking fund, that person is the highest liar of all times because serveral countries that are not up to nigeria in terms of natural resources are doing fine, such as Ghana.when did there discouvered oil in their country but today we Nigerians we are trooping there for better education. These were people who were doing menial jobs for us before we sent them back to their country in the late 90's that was when the Ghana must go bag came into play. But today we are the people using Ghana must go bag most, virtuall every home in Nigeria has Ghana must go bag in their houses.
For us to achieve our goals and live a wonderful live which we dream to live we must inculcate sincerity, shun evil deeds, any form of illicit act must be put aside and all in all we Must Envelope all these with Love in other to embrace the golden age of life in Nigeria which is currently ushered by the present living perfect master of our time SAT GURU MAHARAJ JI,go and seek his knowlegde for total bliss in every endeavours of life, scientific and technological inventions. It does'nt matter whether you are a christain ,moslem or any other religion on earth.
