Iberl: I think people should perform some rituals before embarking on certain acts. The world is very deep
I could not understand why most of them chose not to wear a life jacket when embarking on a river voyage on a speed canoe. I don't understand why Junior pope did the video telling us that he did not wear the lifejacket and that they take risks inorder to entertain us. The driver of the boat was very fast and easily distracted and did not see the other canoe on time. Some of them were comfortable taking life recordings on the speed canoe without wearing their life jackets. It is like going on a roller coaster without over-the-shoulder restraints and seatbelts. it is good to place value on our lives during our day to day activities and it is very good to be prayerful May the souls of those that died continue to rest in peace

May and Yul breakup pained me the most. I reasoned that the cause of their breakup could be either "Yul's stardom and exploits got into his head" or " Judy Austin cast a strong spell on him".
Mohbad’s father opens a GofundMe account, says Nigerians who wants justice for Mohbad should please donate
In a move stirring mixed reactions, the father of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for further investigation into his son’s death. Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away in October 2023. Mr. Aloba claims the official cause of death remains unclear, and he desires a more thorough investigation. Additionally, he seeks funds to conduct a DNA test on his late son’s child, Liam. The GoFundMe campaign specifically appeals to Nigerians seeking “justice for Mohbad.” This has drawn some criticism, with questions raised about the purpose of the DNA test and the allocation of donated funds. Mr. Aloba previously stated his desire for a double DNA test “for authenticity” but hasn’t elaborated on suspicions surrounding Liam’s paternity. Whether the GoFundMe campaign will garner significant support remains to be seen. Some fans have expressed a willingness to help find the truth about Mohbad’s death, while others question the necessity of crowdfunding for such purposes.
I do not think it necessary to do a test on his grandson. His actions give the impression that he has ulterior motives. May the soul of Mobad and others that are late continue to rest in peace.
NairaOcean: "I Gave ₦10k And Fanta To Water Spirit" Actor Who Survives The Boat Mishap
In the aftermath of the tragic boat accident that claimed the life of Nigerian actor Late Junior Pope, survivor TC has left many intrigued by a peculiar ritual performed just before boarding the ill-fated boat.
"When I was about to enter the boat, I poured the Fanta I was holding to greet the water spirits," TC shared, recounting the moments before embarking on the journey.
The boat, which was carrying several passengers including the late actor Junior Pope, encountered turbulent waters leading to a devastating outcome. Junior Pope, known for his roles in Nollywood films, tragically lost his life in the accident, leaving fans and colleagues mourning across the entertainment industry.
May the souls of those that died rest in peace. I don't think it was the fanta that save him. It is God that saved him and the rope that he held on to also contributed to saving his life . it a suicidal mistake to embark on a voyage on the river in a canoe and without life jacket. It like a welder working without his personal protective equipment such as his protective gloves and his protective eye goggles Value should be placed on human lives.
GistMedia0: The Nollywood industry is reeling from a boat accident that claimed the life of star actor Jnr. Pope and left two crew members missing. Movie producer Stanley, known for his blockbuster hits, has confirmed that the search is ongoing for the missing sound technician and makeup artist, who were also on board during the accident.
May their soul rest in peace. It is very dangerous embarking on a canoe voyage on a big river without a life jacket. It is like working in an electric factory without putting on your personal protective equipment.

Daniel7543: una go just dey use English dey confuse una self Abeg what is the difference between toilet roll and tissue paper?
Tissue paper and toilet paper look alike but there is a difference in the usage and the material from which they are made. Tissue papers are mainly used to wipe nose and hands while toilet papers are used in the restroom after urination and defecation. Toilet papers are also known as restroom tissue paper and they are usually packed in rolls whereas tissue papers are packed infoldings and bundles. Tissue papers are soft and do not have much strength on the other hand toilet papers have more strength compared to tissue papers. Viper000: Abeg make una dey wash una nyash well wit water after using the toilet especially ladies.
Tissue paper is not enough to clean ur nyash properly. I no talk say tissue paper no good but always use water along side with tissue paper and wash ur hands wit soap.
There’s this girl I’ve been crushing on, she came over to my place, she av a nice big curvy ass, i like chubby girls. I entertained her well and we started to do-the-do…. We started with missionary style as I switched to doggy position and abt to do the thing, the next thing I saw was dried particles of poo in her asshole, I jst hated myself for having sex with her.. my dick flat sharp sharp. I stop sex.
The girl was like babe I’m feeling u so what happen, why did u stop.. I didn’t even tell her becus she might get angry.. they hate to take corrections.
I think she poo in her house before coming over to my place and I guess she used jst tissue paper to wipe her ass.
If u enter my toilet u go see hand sanitizer and dettol soap, if I use toilet I dey wash my nyash thoroughly wit water, then I wash and sanitize my hands. If I wan bath sef, I scrub my nyash and preeq well, I dey wear my boxers once a day. I no like dirtiness.
Suppose you go to a place were there is no water to wash your bum bum and the only material available to clean your bum bum is toilet roll what do you do ?
You should have sex with a lady that you have paid her dowry and have married legally in order to avoid fornication and adultery. Have sex with your spouse alone.
I feel you can use toilet roll instead of tissue paper to clean your bum bum and then bath thoroughly at the end of the day before going to bed.
You could also bath and wash your body parts with soap and water thoroughly after using the toilet and before having sex with your spouse
Unlimitedwords: Discover Other Benefits of Drinking Water .
In the midst of scorching heat and the increasing harshness of weather, it is essential to prioritize our relationship with water. This is particularly relevant given the untold hardships faced in Nigeria, where weather patterns have become a reliable indicator of the challenging circumstances we face.
Outlined below are five fundamental benefits of water:
Regulates Body Temperature: Water plays a crucial role in maintaining a normal body temperature. As we perspire, water assists in the evaporation process, thereby cooling our bodies and preventing overheating.
Lubricates and Cushions Joints: Proper hydration ensures that our joints remain well-lubricated, reducing friction between bones and preventing discomfort or pain. By cushioning the joints, water also assists in shock absorption, minimizing the impact of strenuous activities.
Protects Vital Tissues: The importance of water extends beyond physical comfort. It acts as a protective barrier for sensitive tissues like the spinal cord, preventing injuries and maintaining their optimal functionality.
Assists in Waste Removal: Water is a key component of various bodily processes responsible for eliminating waste. Through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, water aids in the efficient removal of toxins and waste products from the body, promoting overall health.
Enhances Focus and Concentration: Remaining adequately hydrated is directly linked to cognitive function. Numerous studies have demonstrated that dehydration can impair concentration, alertness, and overall mental performance. By consuming enough water, we can ensure that our minds remain sharp and focused, enhancing productivity and overall well-being.
Recognizing the benefits of water is of utmost importance, particularly in the face of severe weather conditions and the increasing challenges brought about by climate change. By keeping our bodies hydrated, we not only protect ourselves physically but also optimize our mental and emotional well-being. Let us embrace a water-friendly approach and prioritize this essential resource for a healthier and happier life.
In addition water is life and one of the constituent of the human body. Water is the second most important natural resources after air to man

I do not thinks Binance action of disabling sell option for its Nigerian users and blocking them from selling fiat currency, USDT, on their platform would bring down the pump price of PMS and high cost of foodstuff respectively in the Nigerian market.
jeejo: I understand that what I am about to explain will earn me insults from a selected few individuals because the same culprits are active here on Nairaland, so I am ready for that as well.
If you go to Binance P2P, there is a heavy manipulation going on there, and from my deductions, most of the big Binance P2P Merchants are united in carrying out this manipulation. Some of them even have over 2 Million dollars worth of USDT in their Binance P2P Funding which begs the question whether these people are truly Nigerians or probably foreigners making money from destroying the Nigerian economy.
Many people might not understand the strategy these merchants use, therefore, I will try to break it down.
This is how the manipulation works:
1. Lets assume that the Naira to Dollar is currently exchanging at the Parallel market for 1,500 Naira. On Binance P2P, the group of Merchants will create multiple fake ads claiming that they will buy your USDT for 1,700 Naira(way above the parallel market price). I call these ads "fake" because they will set a minimum limit above 5Million naira, which means if you want to sell your USDT to them at this exorbitant rate that they created, you must be selling a usdt value worth over 5Million Naira at once. This strategy works in filtering out majority of average Nigerians that want to sell their USDT to these Merchants. Meaning these fake ads will remain at the top of the p2p "sell" section for as long as these group of Merchants want it to remain. And if by chance someone who has enough USDT to meet the minimum limit decides to sell to these merchants, they will simply cancel the trade, and create another ad.
2. Now because these group of merchants have filled the P2P "sell" section with these fake ads claiming to buy your USDT at an exorbitant rate of 1,700 NGN, they have automatically shifted the P2P price of Naira to USD to 1,700 Naira, and now they will be selling their USDT to the public under the "buy" section above 1,700 Naira. Now - unlike the fake ads they created with a minimum limit that is above 5Million Naira to discourage sellers for selling to them at this high rate - when they are selling their USDT at this already manipulated price, you will find limit as low as 4,000 Naira because they want to sell to the Public at the exorbitant price they created.
Binance P2P is the new AbokiFx where BDC operators get their current price of Dollar from. The fake price originating from there is in turn used by the BDC operators to set their Dollar selling prices even without any corresponding demand. But the interesting part is that these BDC operators won't buy from you at any rate close to the exorbitant price they are selling the dollar to you. Here in Benin city, even though the parallel market price of Naira is above 1,600 Naira, the Abokis hardly buy your dollar for above 1,500 Naira but they will sell to you only above 1,700 Naira.
Some people might argue that if Binance is to blame, how come the official exchange rate is now above 1,500NGN to 1 USD? The answer to that is simple. Each time the rate in the Parallel market moves up, the CBN is forced to also adjust official rates upwards in order to close the gap between both windows or else the black market rate will be too wide that it will create an irresistible opportunity for round-tripping.
There is a huge rot in the entire BDC system in Nigeria that I don't think this CBN governor has any idea how deep it really goes.
Personally I think we consume a lot of foreign products more than locally made products. We also imports goods and services more than we export them to other countries. Lack of amenities such as constant power supply, good access roads, unavailability of raw materials, government unfriendly policies, high taxes and high cost of fuel has made many business to fold up in Nigeria. Then we depend so much on crudeoil subsidies and crude oil price at international market. Insecurity including banditory and kidnapping has it made difficult for farmers to cultivate food and cash crops which could be export and generate income and revenue. Some people value the dollar more than naira and still pay their employees in dollar right here in Nigeria. Those in Government no dey try for us the masses. All these have contributed to the plummeting of the naira

DSS1335: A very good young woman whom her husband abandoned last year lost her 1 year old child this morning. They jovial baby was very healthy on Sunday, by Monday morning, the baby was suffering from diarrhea and vomiting. According to the mum, she was prescribed pediatric antibiotic Amoxicillin along with antimalarial (Lonart susp), paracetamol syrup and Rophegan. I was alarmed on why she gave her child Rophegan 5ml, normally this antiemetic drug is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Unfortunately this early morning the child was gasping for breath while crying loudly and died few hours later.
The issue now is that she is from far away east. She doesn't want to travel home. I have a very large space in my compound, and want to bury the child there. I consulted my kins, they objected it that I should never allow such to happen that it's against our tradition. That a child should be buried in his father's home or public cemetery. This tenant have already made up her mind to Park out few months after her rent expires due to the scandals of separating from her husband. Should I go ahead and allow her or alternatively raise funds for her to travel to the east to bury the child there. Though she isn't forthcoming with my alternative.
N/B I am of Rivers state, Ikwerre to be precise, the lady from Umuahia
Update: The mother of the lady came late in the afternoon from Abia state and pleaded I should allow them bury the baby in my compound. After considering some notable advice from here coupled with the warning from my kinsmen, I declined. The lady's mother contacted their branch pastor and they made arrangements to bury her in a place provided by their church. Later this evening the woman came back insulting my family that we are very wicked for not allowing their baby to be buried in my compound. If not for the sympathy I had for the mother mourning her loss, I would have lost my cool. This was the same woman responsible for the breakdown of her daughter's marriage. After marriage, she came to live with the new couple who parked into my apartment newly. Instigating her daughter against her husband. Using her daughter as a proxy to siphon off her husband's wealth, a Dubai-based businessman. Controlling the man forcefully, preventing him from socializing with others because of her insecurity complexes. The last straw that broke the marriage was when the lady and her mother teamed up to lock the husband indoors for 4 days and transferred all his money to the wife's account. That whenever he needs his own money, he should tell the wife. In short, the marriage broke down irreconcilably and the husband relocated to another state and never came back, he was neither interested in the child that was born 3 months after nor care to inquire about their wellbeing
May the soul of the child rest in peace. It is wise for the child to be buried in a cemetery.
