PPRRRRRRRRRR IS HERE O

It can only be God. After 10 months and 19 days.

This is my story:

IELTS- 3 times . I passed on the 3rd attempt

ITA- Jan 18

AOR- March 25

ADR- 3 times for ECA- IRCC was not able to verify my IQAS on their own system.
On my ADR third request, I finally had to request for another copy of my
IQAS to be sent to IRCC again and I also faxed it

MEP May 1
IP2- I went to IP2 same day

No movement, I applied for GCMS note in July and got it early August. That was when I knew my visa office. Criminality for hubby was is in process since Apr 30 and had not started for me.

Eligibility and security checks had not been initiated either. In August I raised CSE to ask about my application. A summary of their response below:

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application. All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

September 1st week, I raised another CSE, now to London VO to ask about my file and on September 19 I got an email from Kyiv VO saying- Your file has been transferred to our office for further processing. Kindly note that files are processed based on original reception date. I was sad and happy at the same time. At least there was movement. September 25 we passed the 180 days application processing timelines.

October 24, I mailed the office of Goodale, Ralph E. - M.P. I got the mail on their official website. I just googled. I did this because I have read on various platforms that they mail him blah blah. Anyway, I just said to myself it is worth a try. At least he will tell me something and it will let me know whether there was any movement on my file. I didn’t say in my mail where my visa office was so that I could confirm that his office actually checked it. That same day, they replied and I got the same information/ status on my GCMS note. My file had not been touched. The only difference was that he mentioned that my file was in Kyiv.

Two days after I got the 2 Do Not Reply email in my account in the morning. I thought it was the same mail so I opened the recent one – It was an ADR for Updated financial documents. The letter says I should disregard the letter for passport request that the correct one was an additional document required. I was still trying to understand whether they sent a PPR mail and I didn’t see it. Then after few seconds, I got another mail from my visa office in Kyiv – Please find attached the letter concerning your application for permanent residence in Canada. This is the correct letter which was sent to you via My CIC account as well.

It was the next day I realise that the 1st mail was a letter saying my visa was ready to be issued.

Quickly, we got right into work to get our documents. On October 30, we uploaded.

We waited and waited and waited

January -3rd GCMS note
Eligibility passed.
Criminality still in progress for Spouse
Part of Updated financial document was verified with Pension Company.

February 7
Added to POF (statement from another account) because we thought they might have a problem with the buffer from the pension (N500,000)

Today at 3.10pm, it was the correct PPR mail. .

Truly the journey was not easy but God made it come true.
Sorry for all the typos. Abeg I am too excited

For everyone waiting at one stage or the other, God will make your dream come true, AMEN!!

Congratulations Vivacious2.
God is great.

CONGRATULATION!

Writing this, it seems as if my wife and I didn't have terrible moments with IRCC. On the contrary we did. Got married Aug 2017. Wifey was refused OWP twice. I am studying in Canada, hence applied for PR as inland and was hoping for 2 months PR approval. Did it happen, No. It didn't even come in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and even 6th month. Crazy right? Even outland applicants were getting PR in 2 months. I took almost 7 months to get an ADR for proof of relationship. Afterwards, they gave the PR. This is after 17 months I haven't been with my newly wedded wife. But now that PR has been approved, all the pains are gone!
So, at your respective challenges at the moment (IELTS, waiting beyond the processing time, review required, etc), your pains will soon be over........Keep the faith!

Sincerely I can relate with the bolded part 100%.
It's unexplainable and nobody should go through such pain honestly.

Special congratulationssssssssss mate.
Now the party begins grin

He/she initially had 3-4 million in his/her account as savings, right? I reckon this amount was accumulated over a period of time.....and suddenly, another 3 million is deposited in his/her account? IRCC might pick this up as an unexplained source of funds. My opinion, doing a gift deed wouldn't hurt.

CC: @phemocheee

Well I think the 3 million transaction won't reflect in his/her SOA cos this happend 7 months ago.
The SOA will only capture transactions within the past 6 months and this won't be an issue since the transaction occurred 7 months ago.
The 7 million will simply reflect as "closing amount or opening amount" on the 6 months SOA.

Gift deed in this case would actually raise unnecessary dust since the SOA won't capture the said transaction anyways.

I think i agree with Manlikegb.

My opinion @ phemocheee

Ladies and gentlemen please here's our Timeline

Family of two
My wife is the PA
FSW (inland)
CRS: 456 (0 pts from me)
IELTS 1st attempt LRWS: 8, 6.5, 6.5, 8.5 (IDP).
2nd attempt LRWS: 8, 8.5, 7.5, 7.5 (BC).
No ECA, we used her Canadian Masters degree.

ITA: 5th September, 2018.
AOR: 30th September, 2018.
Medicals: 17th September, 2018
Medicals passed: 29th October, 2018.
Biometrics: 29th, October, 2018. (only me, she still have valid biometric).
ADR: for letter of consent from me regarding parts of the POF in my name; 5th December, 2018.

PPR!!!: grin 31st January, 2019.
Ottawa VO

AOR to PPR: 121days (4 months approx.)

Documents submitted

1. Marriage certificate
2. Employer's reference letter (CIC) standard,
3. Her SOA
4. Letter of no indebtedness for her credit card.
5. My 6months SOA from two banks (this is because I transferred bulk amount from my GTB to Stanbic-IBTC to makeup the amount there.
6. TB certificate
7. Letter of no indebtedness from GTB (Stanbic-IBTC no gree give me this one).
8. Gift deed from parents.
9. Letter of no objection from me.
10. Her MSc.
11. Our PCC (note she didn't use Canadian PCC, both are done here in Nigeria).
12. LOE (we used this basically for clarification, like explaining the over lapping dates in my history, etc).

We entered 1P2 from day one of AOR

ADR: 5th December, 2018. and submitted 7th December, 2018. This showed NA just few hours after upload. Later changed to "we're reviewing the additional document you provided" around 25th January, 2019.

NB. We ain't sure why the ADR cos we had submitted same letter that was requested. Although the 1st letter of consent from me wasn't notarized. We had to notarize it and resubmitted same.

It wasn't easy for us. My wife (Sweetgirl, as I humbly call her) travelled since August 2017 for study. We were dealing with staying alone without each other, which was unexplainable. To make the matter worse, we lost my job on March 2018 and my side hustle wasn't steady. Well you can only imagine the emotional trauma.
At a point, around early December last year "i" stopped checking our CIC account, nairaland and even Facebook group page. This is because "I" needed to take my mind off this and handed it over to God.

Wait a minute, did we tell you that it affected my health?
Oh yes, it did. No wife, No work and No PPR. Chaii! It's well.

When she informed me that our application has been approved with the recorded call she made with IRCC agent, I didn't understand it honestly, but after some time while on the video call with her, I found myself dropping tears. cry cry cry

After about 2hours from the time she called CIC on the said 31th January, 2019, at about 17:32pm GMT, THE GOLDEN EMAIL DROPPED. grin grin grin
Na so your brother in the Lord lost it in praise, no key, no Davidic note or octave your brother no sing that day ooo! grin grin grin

We ordered GCMS note which should be due by 15th of this month. Well they can keep it and also the change. Lol!
Anyways, the GCMS note was at 0$ cos it's free when you apply from Canada.

Well from our experience and other people's experiences, I can say that the preparation, application processing duration and positive outcome is all by God's Grace 100%.

However, please make the work easy for the VO by submitting a simple but detailed documents.

I only wish we all will continue this way in Canada by sharing information without bringing our Nigerianess along.
Na so Chinko people take dominate Canny-land ooo.

To all those still considering starting the process, please take a leap of faith IF IT'S GOD'S WILL FOR YOU. ECA (WES) dey call your name o.

To all those battling IELTS, please don't give up. One more try can change the story.

To all those in the pool, please open your arms to accept ITA

To all those gathering documents + POF issh. Please don't worry trust me, the way God will do it will surprise you.

To the Masters waiting for the GOLDEN EMAIL, please start writing your timeline cos you're the next.

And for those still hanging in Ghana VO, God has started breaking the jinx. Expect PPR rain from GHANA soon.

All these I humbly pray and ask in Jesus Name. Amen!

IT ENDED IN PRAISE.
YOURS SHALL END IN PRAISE TOO. AMEN!

Children of God!
You know what it is?
It's PPR guys. grin grin grin

Since 31st tho!
I'll download our timeline, make una no vex o!

My wife is the PA (inland) and the mail instructs her to submit our passports (documents) as a single package to Ottawa.

She has written them (copied Accra) requesting for instructions on how I'll submit mine since I'm not in Canada.

Ottawa hasn't responded since Friday. Meanwhile Accra responded this morning that I must submit in Nigeria without any attached form or document I could submit my passport with.

Please would my wife's PPR email suffice for me at VFS? And what about the Height and eyes colour chart?

Don't know why they didn't send an email to me this time, have been receiving emails from them, along side with wify.

Instead of PPR we got ADR sad

Hi Fam.
Kindly share your thoughts on this.

My wife is the PA and parts of the fund is in my Acct.
We had earlier included & submitted a "letter of no objection" from me regarding my wife's access to the fund. Although it only bears my signatory.

Now they requested for same letter from me.

Should I notarize it this time?,
Letter of no objection with attached affidavit?
Or simply repeat same formal letter signed by me?

Thanks.

Good day fam, I did my international passport in 2014 before getting married and it expires in a year's time. Do I need to do another one that carries my husband's surname before creating an express entry profile or use my marriage certificate as evidence? hubby is going to be the principal applicant. Thank you as you respond to my questions smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley

Well I think it doesn't necessarily matter whether your passport bears husband's surname or not.
My wife got her study & PG work permit with her maiden name, with marriage certificate as proof of the marriage.
Furthermore, she's the PA for our FSW application.

Nevertheless, I think if you wish to effect the change in the name, you can go for a new passport with an official/recognised change of name document to support your marriage certificate before creating the profile.

I hope that helps.

Just ignore that date on your admission letter & patiently wait for a clearance schedule mail. I was kinda disturbed with that before I was cleared, until I called the information officer. Why not try calling the information officer if u need any info. She answers her call from 10:30AM-3:00PM or so. Her line is usually switched off before & after the stated time.
