So there we have it, it's. . . . . . . . . . . .

AC MILAN vs Tottenham!!!

I am pleasantly satisfied with this draw if I am to be honest. For starters, It could have been worse. Not saying spurs would not be hard to defeat but considering their bitter rival got barcelona and ours got Bayern(Robben and Ribery should be fit and firing on all cylinders by then), then frankly I can't really complain.

Hopefully we will have a clean bill of health by the time this fixture rolls around. Meaning the likes of Thiago Silva and Alexandre Pato should be fit and ready to do battle.

Ibime:
How can anyone watch the season Xavi and Messi just had and put Sneijder in the same sentence? Certain punks follow ephemeral fads. Sneijder will get washed away like tears in the rain where big boys are talking footie.
Pile of self-services!!!
Sneijder guided his clubside and country to the treble and worldcup finals respectively and you say ". . . . the season Xavi and Messi had. . . . ."
How was their season any greater than Sneijder's?

Ibime:
Like I said previously, no one is begrudging Sneijder the top three, but the top two are not even in his stratosphere.
Career wise probably not. However we are judging em' based on last season's performance alone, then he(sneijder) was certainly in their stratosphere.
If Robben had not fluffed his lines(or as I like to call it "choked"wink, we wouldn't even be having this discussion now cuz Sneijder would be the run away winner of the Fifa Bllon D'or award.

1+ for the highlighted part. Totally agree.

But you had to spoil it with the last line. Ain't we tired of that line? When RVP comes back, When Cesc comes back, When Gallas comes back, abeg, we no dey tire?

Every team has its share of injuries. In fact Im so glad Chelsea and United have had their share this season so if we fail to win it this season, I wonder what our excuse will be?

The highlighted part isour problem. AW needs to wake up and at the same time wake his team up too!
you got called out on messi because you pointed out his goals/game ratio and it's clear ronaldo had a better ratio than him and he wasn't even considered. since ronaldo joined la liga, he has scored 43 goals in 44 appearances. if the ratio is such a key, then ronaldo should be up there. i am not questioning messi's place in the top three but sneijder performed better than iniesta in 2010 . let's leave sentiments aside.
This is exactly my gripe. Diego Forlan should be ahead of Iniesta if we are to be truthful.

No One is yet to give a good reason as to why Iniesta should be voted over Sneijder.

A cup or trophy is a reward given to a winner in a competition for their achievement. On that alone, your argument is flawed.
Yes and the Emirates cup is now a "Meaningful" competition abi?. . . . . . .How is any better than the trophy my Sunday league won at Hackney marshes? huh
ElRazur:
Yes we have been in the position many-a-times, but then I am guessing you now know the future right? Please hand me the lottery number for coming Wednesday. I wanna be a millionaire too.
It's not about me knowing the future and what not. My dog "Abubakar" can easily predict what would become of Arsenal come the end of the season. It's Not Rocket Science!!!
ElRazur:
What I don't get is how rival fans like yourself spend much time in an "Arsenal Fans only" thread. Surely, you must have some sort of love for us? You know, some sort of weird reverse psychology going on with you and others who come here to just be a WUM (wind-up merchants)?
Love? shocked shocked grin. . . . . Abeg I don't associate with teams that refer to themselves and their Manager as great despite the fact that neither of them have won a champions league medal since Before Christ.

Why should a team who won the double last season be worried.

We have won our trophies let others win too. At least some clubs are there half a decade trophyless.

ElRazur:
Arsenal cannot win, or can we? We were accused of not winning any cup. Heck, we were accused of being trophyless for 5 years (Even though, technically we have won the Emirates cup in between. Yes, it is a TROPHY, not a mug or kettle)
Well, what else can i Say. I guess this is what happens when even CC is out of reach. Hold the Emirates in High Esteem. SMH.

ElRazur:
Now that we are looking to be in a position to win another trophy, all of a sudden all the critics now have something new to say. SMH.

Politics › Re: 380 Nigerians Are Deported From The Us Every Week. by chic2pimp(m): 5:57pm On Dec 13, 2010
Redman44:
Living in Europe and North America without papers is like mortgaging your future. There is no need to blame anyone here for travelling out of the country. Living in the western world for some years exposes you to a lot of things. You will be able to see how things are done properly and living in an organized society will rub off on you. Nigerians in Europe and America do not generally look out for each other. So you will also learn to strive and forage on your own. The painful thing is that most Nigerians who unfortunately get deported do not utilize the skills they have acquired abroad when they find themselves back in Nigeria [ That is is they had not been wasting their time engaging in fraud, aimless clubbing, and criminal activities while in Europe and America ]. Many Africans in Europe are living without papers and some of them have managed to turn their lives around dramatically. These success stories about undocumented migrants are mostly ignored by the Western Media. My advice to Nigerians abroad without papers is to find a way to work [ The nature of the job does not matter ], save up [ even though you might need to live like a Spartan ] and return to Nigeria. There are a lot of things you can achieve in your country. Don't give the law enforcement officers a chance to embarrass you in the long run. Thanks.
True Words, . . . . . Lol @ Living like a Spartan grin grin grin
