A special government that Exercises restraint when dealing with terrorist killing, kidnapping and displacing Nigerians but deals decisively with development documentation defaulters and imposition of an assortment of tax regimes I shock when I read that part of his statement. What does he mean by 'restraint'? when you should be showing them pepper. Na wah. |

This coming to an end of Nnamdi Kanu's trial can be positively used to begin the healing process for the Igbo nation. It can also be spinned to the advantage of Tinubu's administration.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when the president announced presidential pardon for some individuals. There was a lot of hue and cry for Nnamdi Kanu to be included. Lawyers in the house rightly pointed out that the president couldn't legally exercise his prerogative of mercy on someone who hasn't been convicted.
Now that the trial has come to an end, this represents a golden opportunity for this president to begin the healing process of this nation by granting Nnamdi Kanu Presidential Pardon. All key stakeholders in the east and other parts of the country must come together to broker a deal that will see him pardoned but also cautioned on future engagements.
Seeing that the government in the past have negotiated with those with genuine grievances and even extending same to bandits without any justifiable grievance, it is only fair to find ways to end this quagmire once and for all. History beckons on Tinubu to take this step and cement a lasting legacy for himself and the nation. |

DoctorAyukebot: What a show of ignorance. An undercover doctor doing door to door polio vaccine, was at the forefront of how Bin Laden 's residence was confirmed. By obtaining the DNA from one of the vaccinated kids, they matched and confirmed it was indeed his residence. matify83: This is very disgraceful to say the least.
How comes these ambushes are always carried out after a clearance operation.
Don't they ever learn from their mistakes?
What are the Chinese drones we bought doing in storage? Are they supposed to be museum artifacts?
A one star general left behind in the battle field doesn't speak well of the morale of troops and the other officers who have returned back to base.
The air support team also didn't do justice in this battle.
The terrorist now seem to be versed in military tactics than our academy trained officers it seems.
Ichabod! I swear! A serious, and committed army won't leave even one soldier behind talk less of a whole general. This is beyond Disgraceful and embarrassing. Tinubu should better accept America's help. There is no shame in accepting help when you obviously cannot help yourself. |

Reference: Don't know why Raphael Onyedika is not a starter. Watched him play several times for Club Brugge in seasons past on ESPN (before the Belgian Pro league was scrubbed in favour of the Saudi Pro league).
By no means a flashy player but he is dead comported, steady on the ball and has tons of experience at the highest levels featuring in the UCL and Europa every season.
If we don't start grooming such players what happens when Ndidi's legs eventually expire. I dey tell you. I was so proud when they gave him a standing ovation at their last champions league match against BARCELONA. Onyedika no small o I have a feeling that guy will soon make a big move. Club brugge must be licking their chops now and rubbing their hands in expectation. Money dey come |

ALTERNATEID: Sadly, southerners don’t have a deep understanding of the complexities of Nigeria’s politics. We have eyes in the south but we can’t see because of our division. They want Wike out as FCT Minister and they will use useful southerners to push the plot.
Good news however is that Tinubu understands the game. Wike just needs to be careful not to put the President in a situation where he will have no choice than to take action. The Beta Edu situation is an example. If Wike's judgment wasn't impaired, he wouldn't be making all these embarrassing missteps. If he gets himself booted out, that would completely be his fault. |
Politics › Re: If The FCT Minister Were From The North, the Officer Would Not Have Been Rude. by chicfarmer: 3:45pm On Nov 15, 2025 |
chicfarmer: Wike should learn to be less quarrelsome. What is a minister doing in field enforcement? Even directors hardly go for field enforcement. They are just to senior for such, when you have many senior and experienced officers to do field inspection and enforcement.
When he got feedback on what was happening in the field, a reasonable person will make some calls to calm the situation and then follow protocols to sort out things.
Okay, what has he now achieved with all the gra gra? Shebi dem done still go remove their bulldozer from the site? He could have avoided all this embarrassment and humiliation by simply doing the proper thing. |
