Nigeria doesn't have a refinery?

So how come there are refiner's association?

Maybe you were not born in the obj era, i don't have time schooling ignorance

Dangote sued other indigenous investors and got away with it.
No sir ! There are other refineries but there capacity is very low just as modular refineries , as a matter of fact we have;
1. waltersmith
2. Ogbele
3. Azikel
4. OPac , go nd google the rest

a simple google search could have cleared your cache of ignorances

Anybody supporting a known monopolist that always fight competitions just to have his way in this dying economy is the real worst enemy of this nation
Known monopolist by beer parlour talks, why not show evidences of how dangote is a monopolist.

For decades Nigeria had no refinery, he decided to build one and sudden they tell us he is a monopolist cheesy
why did any of you not build a refinery b4 dangote thought of it.

How is Dangote fighting competition, if i want to buy elephant or larfarge cement will something bad happen to me or will i get arrested
Dangote ×3 cement is the best cement in Nigeria, most demanded by builders how is that dangote fault thats what some people twist into monopoly, i see other cement but i alway insist on dangote cement how is that Monopoly.

show us moves from Dangote that depict true Monopoly

Then read Dietrich Bonhoeffer's theory of stupidity.

i dont see any Move from Dangote that sabotages other local refineries from coming up, i refuse to see Dangote as a monopoly until you tell me;

Your dad bought a land to build cement factory/refinery .. dangote blocked it or

Did you decide to be a distributor of elephant or larfarge cement and dangote arrested you

You cant talk of Monopoly without proven sabotage moves.
Monopoly in real sense is when you dont allow anyone step into your line, how is dangote stopping your dad from building a refinery cos i know you cant afford it

Until Nnpc come out nd accuse Dangote he is the one stopping our national refineries from working .. Monopoly talk here is trash.

LandMann:
If you were not stupid you'll realise that petrol price has never skyrocketed by over 600% in less than two years since the past 23 years of Nigeria.

No matter how bad the situation is in terms of Nigeria government owned refinery, it will get worse when Dangote is given monopoly. Dangote is only interested in getting monopoly, nothing else. And there's no country on earth where citizens benefit in a monopolistic market, none.

If Dangote is given monopoly then he must equally be banned from exporting any product from his refinery to any country outside Nigeria. If he agrees to that then the government can go ahead to listen to him

But I'm 100% sure that Dangote will never agree to that because he's a thief and a greedy fuckíng monopolist who is only interested in reaping off ordinary Nigerians and stacking wealth that he's taking to hell when he dies.

The day government announces that import license has been terminated, fuel price will jump to 2000-2500 and it will continue to go up.

Transportation price will increase, food prices will increase and house rent will increase. Are you ready for any of these?

At this point, you need over supply of PMS in Nigeria so the price can fall. If you stop importing because Dangote is producing, what happens when Dangote start cutting back production to create artificial scarcity? Price increase. Are you ready for more price increase?

Dangote the greedy monopolist is selling his pms and diesel at international price, USA and Canada and UK price, yet is he paying his workers, drivers, staff, employee same international wage rate? Is he paying $18 per hour of work since he's so determined to sell same price as USA?

Nigerians are being forced to buy PMS at international price because of people like Dangote but have you heard Dangote arguing for government to increase minimum wage to reach international price level so as to discourage brain drain, poverty and suffering and corruption across all levels of society?

People like you who think within a box are a real danger to Nigeria.

You just argue for argument sake without considering the repercussions and effects of whatever you are supporting.

That is why you people end up with presidents like Jonathan, Buhari, Tinubu, stupid, senseless and corrupt politicians who are ready to make sure all the people go blind with suffering while only them have eyes
Why do i feel i am talking to dead brain, for the 1st time ever subsidy was completely removed and naira floated no govt as tried that before ... does that answer your stupid question.

Why are you fools justifying nonsense, if dangote will be a monopoly what is stopping the govt/Nnpc from making moves like let our national refineries .... why are you people making it look like fixing a refinery is a rocket science or something very impossible.

There is regulation act that backs Local refinery in Nig., as long as it can meet local demand it most be prioritize as major supply.
Dangote capacity can meet our local demand and he will still have excess therefore its preporious to opine dangote should not export if he wants, no law in the regulatory act forbids export that plainly foolish idea that can come from a Big Fool.
Export is favourable to any economy

How exactly dangote a fvcking monopolist did your father buy land and dangote refuse him to build a cement plant or a refinery.
Is Dangote the one blocking or stopping Govt/Nnpc from fixing local refinery ... the way some of reason shallow is an understatement

Nigeria are buying pms at int'l price cos your govt/Nnpc sold crude to dangote at int'l price... so much nonsense you are spewing
is there even anything like int'l minimum wage .. undecided
i have seen so many idiot but yours is crossbreed .. too many nonsense talks bye bye

Dangote, is that you masquerading as an association?

Who are the refiners? How much pms are they producing and why has pms increased from N195 to N1200 in less than 18 months of Tinubu's disastrous administration?

Dangote and his mushroom association of refiners must not be allowed to hold Nigeria to ransom by getting monopoly.

Nigeria's energy security will be at big risk.

Dangote refinery is already a prime target for other countries that Dangote or Nigeria messes with. They'll simply blow up the refinery so that everyone will suffer like Ukraine is experiencing.

Every well meaning Nigeria must speak against this move by Dangote.

If you know you can't buy fuel for N5000 per litre and you can't buy garri for N10000 per paint rubber, kick against Dangote attempt to monopolize Nigeria's petroleum product sector now
A simple google search would have cleared your cache of ignorance there are other refinery in Nigeria.

where were you when Nnpc were sole importers of pms, were Nigerians ever free from Nnpc exploitations or what makes Nnpc monopoly better

Nigerians are not fools, the people we need to move against are Nnpc/govt cos it is now clear these people are benefiting largely from importation

Nigeria has four refineries on ground, even if Dangote is aiming at Monopoly what stop govt/Nnpc from fixing our refinery to curb Dangote monopoly why must it be import that is detrimental to our forex, economy balance of trade and an haven for corruption.

Any average Nigeria supporting these Importation at these time is a Big Fool, why are the marketers not ever concerned about our national refineries

The best and only viable option to counter dangote refinery is an health competition which only our local refineries can provide.

From the marketers antecedents can they be trusted, if they are so objective about cheap fuel to Nigerians is national refinery not the best chances at cheap, from all break down.

Now they want FG to provide them with cover, same cover FG gave to local rice producers that are now choking us with price.

Local producers are just evil, especially the ones backed by FG’s local content promotion.

It’s only in Nigeria that imported goods are cheaper than the locally produced (often inferior) ones
i will like to play the devil's advocate local producers might appear to be evil But the devil in center of it all is the govt whose policies make cost of running business in Nigeria.

On food items transported to south for instance, all manners of extortion sorted is why most of the sellers have no choice but hike price

And lets be reasonable here, with the present cost of living, everyone is using what they have to stay afloat and survive,
E.g a fufu seller will pay rent enter transport, change cloth, how will she meet up if she no join hike price

point of correction: imported goods are more expensive than local products , except you have examples

You seem not address my post.
You talked about giving value to the naira through Dangote refinery and all that....And I asked you that just one aspect of the economy is not enough to give significant value to the naira out of many sectors and it's network chains.
Read your initial post again and read mine again.....
You talked about Benin Republic(let me not include the USA) being a major importer of petroleum products and her currency is having a better value than the Nigerian naira....
Now, is it import of petroleum products that contributed to the good value of their currency alone and are they running the other sectors of their economy just the way Nigeria does its own to be able to achieve that good value?

Does the USA dollar value dependent on the import of petroleum products to the USA or it's completely reliant on so many aspects that makes their economy viable and truly prosperous.
Dont concise my point its broader, on an Overview OIL dictate our economic lets not even decieve ourselves.
when oil sneezes everything in Nigeria catches cold, even reach fufu, egg
Do you know 40% of our forex is expended on petrol importation, no doubts a 40% cut off, if we stop petrol importation is significant enough to reflect strength in our Naira ( thats - 38% of our net import... ko por ké)

lets no one use big grammar decieve you ... the simple logic behind devalue currency is demand against the local currency,
even though your last paragraph was wrongly made, oga
i have not undermined any sector and there is no where i opined only oil sector can boost economic growth, My point remains OIL sector being the largest sector/stake in Nigeria economy it holds a significant influence more than any other sector ...

How many oil producing nation depend on importation of refined pms, how many have a currency as worthless as Nigeria ...
