kolaxed98:
Ogun state should be competing or is already competing with Lagos and Rivers state.

Highest numbers of industries in Nigeria-checked

Highest number of universities in Nigeria-checked

Religious capital of Nigeria if not africa-bringing in millions of visitors especially December time,I read a report on d net that churches bring in 9 billon dollars per annum, I don't think think u have to guess where most of the Money is going to.

Freaking large expansive Christian estates,Vatican of the Catholics ain't got nothing on rccg camp-100+ km square, Canaan land ota with new Canaan city second largest in Africa, mfm prayer city, deeper life camp nasfat of the Muslims with new estates springing up by d day.

Some of d best secondary schools in Nigeria, especially ota axis with d most winners of cowbellpedia competition.

Cities in ogun state include but not limited to- mowe, ota, Abeokuta, agbara, ibafoibafo, sango ijebu ode and environs

Ogun state could be another pride of Yoruba people after Lagos and Ibadan.

What the state is lacking---
1:bad roads, the rate at which estate is spring up is too much for ogun state so many estate are built in d bush so no go road, ogun state should tackle this.
2:airport, yea I said it airport, ogun state is too big to not have airport, because of religious tourism and d population, after Lagos and Oyo state ogun state has the next highest population even more than over hyped kano even Ogun governor said this.
3:seaport,fortunately ogun is not landlocked like some people state and will stop d dependence on Lagos for export of manufactured goods.
Currently after Lagos, ogun has d highest number of fly overs so much should b done.

I heard a new Abeokuta centre is being built, that is good, d last time I went to Abeokuta I saw many skycrappers being built this is good.

Conclusion: ogun state is third highest igr earner in Nigeria, this state can be better more roads are needed, new estates are coming up many universities manymany potential, so please the next governor should see to the points I provided above plss ogun state is the next big thing.tnx

Can Ogun State be more populated than Kano state? I don’t think so

ChangeIsCostant:
Few days ago, it was reported that suspected bandits killed an unspecified number of soldiers at a forest in Doburu, Zurmi local government area of Zamfara state.

One of the slain soldiers has been identified as Suleiman Maihakuri from Keffi in Nasarawa state.

An online news portal, The Cable, quoted a military source as disclosing this on Saturday, saying many of his colleagues sustained injuries in the incident. He said some of the injured persons were receiving treatment at Zurmi General Hospital.

The source said the officer who led troops into the forest was captured by bandits.

“We ran into an ambush in the forest today. The bandits opened fire on us and we responded but they surrounded us from different directions,” he said. “They had bombs and sophisticated weapons.”

Crime / Re: ‘David Nabegmado Sacrificed His Family Members’ - Nephew Who Killed Pastor by Chiefjosy(m): 11:03am On Dec 31, 2018
BoneBlogger:
It was earlier reported that a senior pastor of the Central Assemblies of God Church was stabbed to death by his nephew during church service earlier today at Tema Community 4 in Ghana. Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado was attacked while preparing to leave his inner office to the main church auditorium to preach as Service was ongoing.

According to the fresh reports, the 31-year-old suspect has admitted the offence but justified it by claiming the pastor had targeted him for rituals.

The suspect who was arrested with alcohol, turpentine, matches, a knife and a machete, claimed the pastor, Rev David Nabegmado, who is his uncle, is not a true “man of God” because he has been “worshiping lesser gods”.

He said in his confession; “He’s sacrificed all the family and destroyed everybody; he was worshiping a gods in the house, when he was killing the family. I have to go and bring these gods to the house to protect the house. Then he sacrificed the church members two or three in a year.”

According to him, he had planned to burn the alleged deity of Rev Nabegmado after killing him in his office at the church premises Sunday morning just before he stepped into the auditorium to deliver his sermon.

Anambra is a den of robbers and kidnappers. Two Reverend Fathers were just freed two days from kidnappers. Catholic priests fa! These people claim they are catholics but they still snatch the clergies nonetheless.

That’s why it will be hard for foreign investors to invest in anambra

ImperialYoruba:
Approaching Okpoko market through thick smog on the back of an okada (motorcycle taxi), the natural reaction is to cover your nose to protect yourself from the dust storm – but the effort is futile.

When a lorry zooms past, kicking up yet another red cloud of dirt, a trader turns the head of a sleeping toddler away from the road, a protective act that is as poignant as it is pointless.

This is a typical day in the southern Nigerian port city of Onitsha – which last year gained notoriety when it was ranked the worst city in the world for the staggering levels of PM10 particulate matter in its air.

Onitsha’s mean annual concentration was recorded at 594 micrograms per cubic metre by the World Health Organization – massively exceeding the WHO’s annual guideline limit for PM10s of 20μg/m3.

PM10 refers to coarse dust particles between 10 and 2.5 micrometres in diameter, while PM2.5s are even finer and more dangerous when inhaled, settling deep in a person’s lungs. Sources of both include dust storms, gases emitted by vehicles, all types of combustion, and industrial activities such as cement manufacturing, construction, mining and smelting. Onitsha scores highly on most of the above – as do other rapidly growing Nigerian cities such as Kaduna, Aba and Umuahia, all of which also featured in the WHO’s 20 worst offenders for PM10s.

In Onitsha’s very busy Okpoko market, my air quality monitor registers 140 for PM10s and 70 for PM2.5s – all way over recommended healthy levels, but still nothing compared to the readings triggered in other parts of this densely populated commercial and industrial hub.

The entire vicinity of the market is perpetually dusty, as wood-sellers saw lumber into different shapes and sizes. The air here is made worse by all the fine sand particles that fly off the back of trucks as they visit one of the many dredging companies on the bank of the River Niger, just behind the wood market.

............

...........Onitsha is grossly polluted – not just in terms of the air quality, but also the solid waste that litters the streets, blocking drainages and canals. With not a single waste bin in sight, heaps of unregulated rubbish dumps occupy roadsides and street corners.

I find it ignorant when people say Nigerian women do not date/marry broke men. Nobody likes broke men; even broke men do not like themselves. Doesn't change the reality that lots of Nigerian women are broke and stuck with broke men too. Nigeria is a third-world shithole, food is still a problem for the majority here.

I won't wanna bore us with figures, but NDIC stats shows that only 2% of Nigerians own 90% of bank's deposits. Yet we have a population of about 180m. How did we get to this number? By dating, marrying, fcking and reproducing with broke men.

Let us stop deceiving ourselves. Even some of you commenting are broke and you have women in your lives. OP's brother won't be an exception...

Too much sense. Some peeps will be forming rich online whereas broke in reality
