Hello all,
My dad immediate elder brother who went to south africa in the 90s is back to drag their parents property claiming to be the first son.

This is someone who after he travelled only came back once and never bothered about the affair's of the family.

Their father my grandfather died 2005 he was no where to be found. my grand mother died 2018 still nothing from him.

No contributions whatever even while their parents was still alive.

He cut all sort of communications with them and now he's back to lay claim on the properties.

The family is angry but some of the elders in the extended family are getting on is side claiming he's still the senior he was never disowned but they can't say it out though.

It's obvious he came back with almost nothing and felt laying claims on their parent property is the back up plan

No will was written and some of the old buildings has been reconstructed from the scratch by my father and yet someone is laying claim on it.

I will like to know how this will go because my father is ready to fight this with his last strength and we the children are firmly behind him

The song ‘Ewu na ebe akwa’ was not done by Celestine Ukwu. That was performed by Cardinal Rex Lawson and Rex Lawson was not an Igbo man.

Celestine Ukwu did not perform that song.
Story .

A song rendered in Ibo language was not done by an Ibo man ?

Who you dey fool?

Same Celestine Ukwu will release another song celebrating Biafra .

If majority of the coup plotters were Ibos and the victims of the coup non Ibos with an Ibo dictatorship that emerged from the coup and Ibos across Nigeria celebrating the coup as Ibo triumph over Nigeria , why are we debating the fact that the coup of Jan 15 was or is not an Ibo coup ?

Even Chinue Achebe in his usual snake lying ways admitted in his book "There was a country" that Ibos celebrated the coup as an Ibo triumph but refused to admit that the events of Jan 15 being an Ibo coup and cause of the pogroms.

Ask Chinue Achebe wherever he is now, if Ibos goading their northern hosts with such insensitive and provocative display did not do so because of the fallout of having an Ibo dictatorship following the Ibo bloody coup of Jan 15.
PoliticsEwu Ne Ba Akwa: a song celebrating the Jan 15 coup as an Ibo triumph by ChiefJusticeFuc(op): 10:00am On Sep 19, 2023
“Igbo in the North were widely taunting their hosts on the loss of their leaders. Celestine Ukwu, a popular Igbo musician, released songs titled Ewu Ne Ba Akwa (Goats Are Crying) and others celebrating “Igbo power”, the “January Victory.” Posters, stickers, postcards, cartoons displaying the murdered Sardauna begging Major Nzeogwu at the gates of heaven or Balewa burning outright in pits of hell or Nzeogwu standing St. George-like on Sardauna, the defeated dragon, began to show up across Northern towns and cities. These provocations were so pervasive that they warranted the promulgation of Decree 44 of 1966 banning them”. Even Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe noted these atrocities in his The Origins of the Civil War: “Some Ibo elements, who were domiciled in Northern Nigeria taunted northerners by defaming their leaders through means of records or songs or pictures. They also published pamphlets and postcards, which displayed a peculiar representation of certain northerners, living or dead, in a manner likely to provoke disaffection.” These images and songs eventually led to the so-called pogroms/ethnic-cleansing/genocide, not the coup”

PoliticsRe: Aburi Accord And Why Ojukwu Refused To Abide By It by ChiefJusticeFuc(op): 3:14pm On Sep 12, 2023
gidgiddy:
Dont discuss Nigerian history if you dont know Nigerian history. 12 points were agreed at Aburi and item seven of that stated that if Gowon, for any reason, wanted to change the structural arrangement of Nigeria, he could only do so if all 4 Military Governors of the 4 Regions agreed he should do so.

Gowon then broke this agreement when on 26th May 1967, he issued Decree 14 which abolished all 4 Regions Nigeria had, and created 12 brand new states to replace them. Gowon immediately followed this up with Decree 15, which ended resource control, and put all resources in the hands of the federal government. This was a calculated move to end Regionalism and create an all powerful federal government controlled by Northerners

Having broken the gentleman's agreement they signed in Ghana, Ojukwu declared Biafra on 30th May 1967.
So in essence,Ojukwu declared Biafra because Gowon created states out of the useless old yeast.

The people of the lower Niger had never held back their desires to leave your useless yeast.
Hell, they even wanted out of Nigeria so as to be free from you just as western Cameroun opted out
.

Now , if I may ask: why did Ojukwu reject Gowon's decree 8 ?

PoliticsAburi Accord And Why Ojukwu Refused To Abide By It by ChiefJusticeFuc(op): 1:42pm On Sep 12, 2023
It is important to set the record straight that it was Ojukwu who renegaded on the accord reached at Aburi.

For starters here are the final resolutions reached by both parties :

1. Members agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence.

2. Specifically, the council agreed that appointments to senior ranks in the police, diplomatic, and consular services as well as appointment to superscale posts in the federal civil service and the equivalent posts in the statutory corporation must be approved by the Supreme Military Council.

3. The regional members felt that all the decrees passed since January 15, 1966, and which detracted from previous powers and positions of regional governments, should be repealed if mutual confidence is to be restored

Following item 3 above , Gowon will usher in Decree 8 towards repealing Ironsi's dissatrous Decree 34.

Gowon's Decree 8 not only ended Ironsi's so-called unification decree but also strengthened regions by making provisions for regional armies seperate from a federal army .

It is imperative to note that only Ojukwu welcomed Ironsi's decree 34 when it was passed and only Ojukwu rejected Gowon's Decree 8 which was in agreement with item 3 reached at the Aburi summit.

Ejoor activated decree 8 in refusing federal troops from invading Biafra which was declared by Ojukwu after states were carved out from the old eastern region and from there dragged the already Ibo weary minority people of the lower Niger into his Biafra .

While Gowon respected Ejoor's stand for neutrality and did not deploy federal troops through Midwest, the north's regional army attacked Biafra through Benue in an advance into Cross River.

Instead of Ojukwu to contend with the north , he decided to invade and occupy the Midwest I'm what he declared as liberating them from Hausa Fulani control .

Ojukwu's so-called liberation army will then attempt am invasion to take Lagos and all of western region through the Midwest.

As you can see, the noise we are being disturbed with from Ibo revisionists falsely claim that Aburi agreement was breached by Gowon.

This is far from the truth.

It was Ojukwu who breached Aburi by refusing to abide by Decree 8.

To Ojukwu, the status quo was Ironsi's decree 34 which only him amongst all the military heads of regions accepted .

Ojukwu never wanted a return to regional assembly but rather wanted the Zikists inspired quasi Marxist military dictatorship aka modern day one Nijeriya to continue.

So next time an Ibo man lies to you about Ojukwu wanting a return to regional assembly and begins lamenting about Aburi , let them know that it was Ojukwu and Enugu that refused to abide by the accord .
PoliticsRe: How A Hypothetical Biafran Republic Can Work by ChiefJusticeFuc: 12:13pm On Sep 12, 2023
Razgas:
Most notable European conflicts are resolved through a process that starts with written suggestions. It may be time for Nigeria to show maturity and revisit the Biafran question. So here goes my thoughts. Maybe someone is reading.

Referendum: The National Assembly is always calling for hearings on constitutional amendments. Biafran agitators can key into this when next it is called. Remember it is a marathon not a sprint.

Geography: The Biafran geographical extent will be the current 85 LGAs in south east geopolitical zone

Concessions to Nigeria: Biafran negotiators will be willing to concede the following for a smooth transition;

1. The president of Nigeria will remain the nominal head of state of Biafra (just like King Charles is the head of state of Canada and Australia). He will be represented by a Governor-general and the country can always replace this. The government of Biafra will be led by the PM.

2. Biafra to continue to use its own version of the Naira.

3. Biafra to sign a treaty with Nigeria to never support any group outlawed in Nigeria.

4. Nigeria to organise the first Biafran election just like UK organised Nigerian first election in 1953.

5. Self-rule to first follow for a period of 8 years before total independence is granted.

6. All assets and liabilities to be given to Nigeria before total independence.

Future relationships with Nigeria Biafra to join ECOWAS and adopt its protocols.
Nigeria to allow Biafra use rivers and water ways that border both countries.
Biafra and Nigeria to sign a perpetual peace treaty of No Air or Sea blockade.

Advantages for Nigeria
1. Since it is only igbos who agitate to leave Nigeria, the rest of Nigeria can then move on without us in peace. No dispute.
2. Nigeria becomes a colonial power.
3. Those who are willing to kill for Lagos can now rest easy as their 'enemies' stop being Nigerians.
4. Since Niger Delta is not included in this Biafra, oil is not a factor.
Biafra without SS?

Forget it.

Biafra is dead without SS so don't expect any Ibo to support a Biafra without it.

All Western nations tactically banned northern Muslims from visiting their countries after Abdul Mutralab's arrest and that of one Boko sympathiser that was arrested throwing stones at a KLM flight in Abuja after he was denied flying with them.

What makes you think that other countries like Thailand, Cambodia, India , UAE, SA, Brazil, Malaysia etc won't do what western countries did to northern Muslims during the heydays of Boko Haram ?

PoliticsRe: Video: Nigerian Army Recapture Ore From Biafrans And Halt Their Advance To Lagos by ChiefJusticeFuc: 11:27am On Sep 12, 2023
They used the highway to advance from Midwest to Lagos in what is reminiscent to a German blitzkrieg manuvere.

But unknown to them, federal forces had intelligence of their attack days before it commenced as they were being fed of Biafra troop movement by the civilian ressistance that had sprung up in the Midwest after biafran troops invaded and occupied the Midwest .

Federal troops will then deploy towards Ore not through the predicted highway route but through bushes using colonial maps of the forests.

The ambush at Ore was successful and biafran troops were chased back to where they belong across the Niger
