Business › Re: Meet The Nigerian Woman That Built 4 Bedroom Flat From Roasted Corn Business by Chigold101(m): 8:48am On Aug 14, 2015
raayah:
That's how a big business work. Now compare it to one woman who has been roasting corn in one location all her life versus the woman who has income flowing from all directions.
well many people can't manage other people so they suffer even while making some gain. Others understand how to use others to achieve their goal while those they use also achieve theirs.

Back to your point. The person that stays in one location probably do not have trust on people or she does not know how to expand her business.

The woman that expanded her business is because she has a bigger dream other than just been seeing as a corn roaster. She is now seeing and known as an entrepreneur.

I also met another woman at Aladimma in Owerri when I went to a conference there in 2010. Big boys and girls were coming there to buy corn. That was my first time of seeing what business is hidden in what people call nothing.

The thing is this. How far we can go in life is not dependent on how much we were given but how much we can manage what we were given either in cash or is talent

i dont believe this story, may be the op just want to encourage/motivate people to be hardworking but the analysis of a corn seller building a four bedroom is impracticable unless there are other sources of income; selling or making sachet water would have been a better example not corn...
well I believe the story because I know someone too here in Onitsha who has achieved more than just 4bedroom from corn roasting. She now has corn roasting spots scattered across Onitsha.

The issue is that anyone who becomes diligent in what he/she does can achieve anything. However it might take time. Hard work pays and it will pay more when you add smartness (not cheating) and honesty to what you do.

When people shout no job, I laugh because if one can kill ego and pride that person will see himself flying high.

When next you grab a roasted corn to sink your teeth into, see what it got this hardworking woman.

I doubt if this will be any news to anybody that knows the woman that raosts corn at GRA Onitsha, near Benjen Inn. The woman now has corn roasting spots where her children are also doing so. She also has workers that work for her in corn roasting business. She is now a big landlady

Jonathan never failed to mention Yar'dua when it was necessary for him to do so. On the amnesty of Niger delta militants Jonathan always attribute the fit the Yar'dua adminstration which incidentally Jonathan was part and percel.

Or remind me any of Yar'dua's project Jonathan layed claim to.

The companies that bought the unbundled units of phcn have begun to sit up because they realise that they have no option but to deliver now especially after some licenses were revoked.

There is more sanity and clarity in the oil sector. NNPC is stting up and the refineries are going to begin working unlike in the previous government where they were intentionally left moribund because of the adverse effects working refineries would have on the oil marketers who were friends of the govt or even owned by governement officials. Now, many licenses have been revoked and few of the genuine marketers are the ones bringing in products now.

The crude swap deals are working in earnest and that is why nobody is shouting that they have not been paid again because under the last govt the parties involved did not honour the terms of the swap deals. The govt knew and did nothing about it.

The international community is no longer touching Nigeria with a long pole, we have regained respect internationally.

The foreign reserves have increased. Gone are the days of constant depletion.

Now, big boys who could be made to face the law are doing so now.

Most of the oil tankers used to steal crude have been banned now.

Service chiefs have been replaced with serious and career driven officers.

Most of all...there is hope! Before, the situation in the country seemed hopeless. Now the reverse is the case.

Chaiiiiieeeeeee. Mama peace where are you?? There is GOD ooooooooooooo hahahahahhaha. If this press release is true, then mehn, this is hilarious hahahahahahhahahahahaha
what they wrote is a pure truth. They didn't insult Nigerians because Buhari has been insulting Nigerians since he took over power. Buhari does not know what he want. He does not have any person presently in his government that understands anything other than propaganda and lies.

I still don't know what Osho Baba's was doing in the USA with Buhari. Buhari's son too. It is a pity that a section of Nigeria's media have been celebrating Buhari's stewpidity in the US.

Soon he will jumb once more into another plan and head to Cameroon... Too bad

People Alleging that it is Rochas that placed it, are you really brain dead? is rochas contesting for any other post in IMO state? What would be the use of the billboard in IMO STATE? And if Rochas wants to place a billboard, you think it would be that low quality Trampoline clothe billboard, and just only that one?

People would jump at anything Rochas just to smear his image. Well, the more dirt you throw at him, the higher he rises.
So you believe that politicians put the bill board. Rochas is reacting like this and denying being the one behind it because he saw people's reaction about it especially on Twitter. Why didn't they mention the names of those politicians that sponsored the hanging of the board. Rochas is expert in lying. Just know that.
