Good evening gurus, please my sis is looking for a call center job, but most if not all we have seen require some weeks of training in the office physically, which is quite difficult for her as she has a little baby she is nursing. Please are there some that one can get that is fully remote including the training? Please any recommendations?

Ok, in my normal way
[Extract] www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children
If your partner or child is applying at a different time to you, they’ll only need to prove they have enough money to support themselves if they have been in the UK for less than 1 year.
- You've been in the UK on the Skilled Worker route, the applicable rule is in your attached.
- You child has been in the UK for ONE year. In your case, born in the UK.
NB: As I understand it, the ONE year is counted from day and month. It is not just year.
[Scenario]
Born in the UK 01 Mar 2022. Applying for dependent skilled worker visa on 19 Jan 2023: one year in the UK NOT satisfied
So, your child should have been born by 18 Jan 2022.

(PS: seems Tier 2 is here to stick for years to come! - Skilled Worker Visa)
NB: This is not a binding advisory as contemplated in law
Thanks for your response. But just a bit confused. My child isn't up to a year. He is 6 months old. Does that then mean I have to provide evidence of support (my statement-28 day rule) since he doesn't meet that condition of been in the UK for 1 year?

PS: sorry Skilled Worker Visa.

Good morning gurus in the house, please I have a son that was born here in the UK last year and I want to apply for his dependent brp (tier2), please does the 28 rule of statement apply in his case (I have been in the UK for almost 2 years while he is just some months old) also my COS doesn't have maintenance for dependents

Hi everyone, my sister's 2 year old daughter just got denied a visit visa, with the reason that the birth certificate not been official, mean while she submitted both the hospitals birth certificate and the national population commission birth certificate. So which one is not official birth certificate again. Was it that the Eco didn't check out the NPC's birth certificate. Please i need your advice on this. Can this be contested?
Hello everyone, this ended well, we sent an email letting them know they may have made a mistake because both documents were submitted. My sister got a response that they were going to escalate and investigate it after about 3 weeks they got back that she should resubmit the passport that they had made a mistake and will make a fresh decision. After weeks of waiting, she just collected back the passport with the visa stamped. Thanks to everyone for your contributions.

The boy is her dependent, so she should be able to apply for a 2-year visa for him. Additionally, your sister has good travel history.

The notion that a first-time UK visa applicant can only apply a 6-month visa is not correct. But bear in mind that they will scrutinize 2, 5, and 10 year visas with more care than they would a 6 month visa.

The daughter of my former boss was granted 2 year Uk visa the first time she applied.
Thank you for your response.

Hello gurus in the house, please I have a sister inlaw who wants to renew her UK visa for 10 years (her 5 years just expired), she has a 3 year old son who has never travelled out. She wants to apply for 2 years for him along side hers, but I advised her to go for 6 months, but she is saying since he is a minor it may not matter. please what do you advice?

If indeed you submitted NPC birth certificate, then the decision is very likely to be upturned if you request for Administrative Review. Send paid and non paid mails airing your displeasure - politely. Repeat the mails three, four, five days after. You'll definitely get a response.
Yes it was submitted, thank you for your advice.

what is reason for travel? Previously and now?
Both were visit, where the child was given invitation letter from our other brother (who is on skilled worker visa) with documents and evidence of accommodation (rental agreement, council tax payment, evidence of residency etc etc)
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Chijiuba: 5:57pm On May 14, 2022
giselle237:
omg.
What was the reason for including AGAIN the hospital birth certificate that was frowned upon in the 1st instance??
Also ECO mentioned you people added only 2 photographs
For a child whose initial refusal had doubts per birth certificate, more should have been done to prove that this child actually belongs to said parents. why only 2 photographs attached and why the initial disputed hospital birth certificate added again?
A parent should be able to have more than 2 photos pls, if also biological child.. from pregnancy till 2 years there should be tons of photo and documentary proofs of this.
A cover letter could also have been written to adress the previous refusal.
It’s possible this eco saw what his/her colleague said the last time, again on seeing this hospital bc did not go on to check or did not see the NPC own
You can send a mail for reconsideration because NPC cert was actually submitted or reapply and contest this and add proofs to clear this child’s birth and parental history because the doubt has further been strengthened by this 2nd refusal.
She felt it was just an additional document, but primarily the NPC one was the main document. Please What do you think aside the email to put in another application with loads of pictures ranging from pregnancy, when the baby was born, growing up pictures at least up till now, hospital receipts, scan pictures etc etc)

giselle237:
So wait after the 1st refusal, did you people still go onto present this same hospital BC? so there are now 2 refusals for same child unto birth certificate issue? pls clarify as your previous posts seem to be saying so
Thank you for your response. The first refusal was because the only birth certificate she presented was the hospital birth certificate, this second application included both hospital birth certificate and NPC birth certificate. So how they didn't look through the NPC issued one is really surprising.

Hello Guru's in the house, please while filling a standard visitor form for my little cousin (2 y/o) I noticed there is no question for "if she has been denied visa" (because yes she was denied last year due to the birth certificate used (hospital birth certificate instead of NPC issued one). Please has any other person noticed this or are my eyes deceiving me?. Please advice.
Please help

Hi Chijuba,

My wife is about to submit a dependant visa as well.

Please would you be kind enough to share the type of documents your friend submitted with the application and maybe rough estimate of maintenance/financial amount required. It would be really helpful to us.

Thanks smiley

Greetings to the gurus in the house, please after submitting dependent visa my friend noticed her church marriage certificate had a slight misspelling in the husband name instead of Kodi it was Kaodi. But the court wedding certificate is correct, and every other document that Carries his name (I.e birth certificate of child, statement, etc etc). Please would this be an issue? Your advice is needed please

u have upto 90 days from date of arrival to pick up your BRP, pls select the post office in your city that is closest to your address in post code. Don’t complicate matters
Thank you giselle237 for your response, I really appreciate, but in the case when one has already submitted the application, do you advice its cancelled or can it lead to a refusal?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Chijiuba: 5:35pm On Mar 31, 2021
Good evening good people, please in filling tier2 visa form, if one puts his/her brp collection post office in a different city from the location of the employer is it a problem (I.e will one be denied visa because of that)?

put the organization’s address... the company sponsoring... that’s the safest thing to do
Thank you for your response sir, the next question after that is "will you be staying anywhere else in the UK" (I.e friend, family, hotel etc) if he selects yes then he is required to input the information of the person/place or should he just select No.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Chijiuba: 7:18am On Mar 28, 2021
Good morning good people, please on a tier 2 application there is a place where one is been asked if you have where to stay "yes/no" my relative has a friend (who is on a tier 2 also and willing to accommodate him for the 2weeks isolation before he resumes work) although his friend is not in the same city as the one my relative got the job in. if he selects YES should he put the friends address? If he selects NO, he is asked what does he intend to do. He is asking can he type something like "I would be staying in a hotel in London (the city his job is in)". Please you advice is needed.

if previous reasons had nothing to do with fraud or deception.. he shud be fine.. they will only run extra checks on him but I believe he shud get the visa
No. The reasons are things like, unexplained credits, compared to what was claimed as salary etc etc

Good evening gurus in the house, please I am asking this question for a relation of mine, he has been denied uk visa about 4 times (due to several reasons or the other) but he got a job (nhs) in uk and they are willing to sponsor him, please is his previous refusal going to have an impact on his chances of getting a tier 2 visa?

Yes sir. Not just family. Your father is a citizen. this is the hidden challenge
What if I apply for tourist visa (where I would be staying in a hotel) would that make any difference? where by proving my father is in nigeria and I would not be staying with him because he is not in the UK, so i have to stay in a hotel

I am also afraid to say that this has greatly dropped ur chances. Greatly.
U are a potential overstayer is what they are thinkin, all other talk is format. Big format.
I hope gurusssss in the house can shed light on what else you can do.
Kindly shed more light of "potential over stayer" is it because i have a family there?
