Oh sorry to hear about your medical issues. Hope you are feeling better now. It's going well. Will be getting done around July with it. Out there in the real world I go to get this whole career thing started. When are you getting done finally?

BusinessRe: Do Bankers Really Deserve Their Multi-million Pound Pays? by chika98: 3:10am On Dec 12, 2009
Sagamite:
Some few made millions.

For every winner, there is a loser.

But that is by the way. As I said earlier this year in another thread, financial muscle of a country is not the best determinant of success, and more often than not, people make the error of focusing too much on this.

What is important is the happiness of the majority populace.

I am not too keen on the US where people make a lot of dough, but work endless hours (sometimes on multiple jobs), have only 10 days annual leave and even have number of sick days restricted (if you fall sick above this, you don't get paid), have no healthcare system, are leveraged to the hilt on loans (hence paying multiple more than the value of the things they enjoy), quality higher education university cost is prohibitive and the citizens are usually a bag of miserable and cranky gits.

I would by far prefer to live in Sweden, Spain, France or Italy.

In Italy, business shut down for about 2 hours everyday as people go home to go and have lunch. I found this out when me and my buddies went on holiday to Italy and wanted to use the bank, when we were told why it was closed, we all looked at each other and broke into a group laugh because it was a beautiful contrast to the huff and puff of London and the girls were hotter.

My friend in France is always on some holiday or the other when she calls me. I asked her how she gets so much time to travel, she told me she has 53 days off each year.

Life is more than about money.
I was also shocked when I found out about this as well. Europe is far better than the US when it comes to things like that. Let's not talk about our healthcare system and how much that is such a mess.

Why you're choosing to be ignorant about this is beyond me! You know he is online looking for women to cheat with still you are here asking questions. A man in a relationship has no buisness being online looking for women. He is showing you exactly the sort of husband he'll be in the future should you choose to marry him. You know what he is up to yet you are acting like you havent got a clue. Go on keep asking questions!!!

Hey I have never paid the full price for a any of my collection, those crazy prices, sometimes even get them on 75% discount, if not on sale I do not buy, just wait till it is.
LOL ahhhhh you are having a good laugh right? Oh well even if you never paid "full" price they still don't come cheap!

Considering my lifestyle, N20,000 would be enough. I don draw line between myself and my extended family members. I also keep a low profile. Also, my immediate family members also maintain a peaceful and quiet profile. What with UTC bread, togolese beans, garri ijebu, moin moin, ogi, akara, fufu, amala, egusi, boiled yam, plantain, efo, dundun, blue band, indomie noodles, semovita, mangoes, oranges, agbalumo, baba dudu, for food; local sponge, anchor toothbrush, ose dudu, macleans toothpaste for hygiene (no need for "toilet roll" when water still plenty); hurricane lamp and torch light, kilit insecticide and otapiapia (PHCN); N500 polyester shirts for extra clothing; I would still have extra change for danfo runs. Concerning gifts, my folks would not even request for that from me so as not to put me under pressure. Besides, I probably would have been sending them stuff and helping them get stuff beforehand. But I would still bring something to surprise them.
Do not be surprised, I have been called "Baba Ijebu" several times and we are Ijebu.
Damn! We say stay humble but not like this jor. A tad extreme.
