SOLUDO BEGINS INTERVENTION ON FAILED NNOBI AXIS OF THE NNOBI-NKPOR FEDERAL ROAD By Christian Aburime In a move that shows a commitment to the well-being of the citizens, Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has taken a decisive action to address the gully erosion on Nnobi axis of the Nnobi-Nkpor Federal Highway. Recall that on September 5, 2023, Governor Soludo paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the portion where he immediately promised to mobilize and commence intervention on the federal road. The severed road is a major road which connects the entire Onitsha and Idemili to Nnobi, Nnokwa, Nnewi, Aguata and most of Anambra south and the Country at large. A team of experts from the State's Ministry of Works, led by the Commissioner, Engr Ifeanyi Okoma quickly mobilized to assess the road's deplorable condition and came up with a comprehensive remedial plan to address it The remedial measures taken by Governor Soludo's administration in response to the failed road will significantly improve accessibility, safety, and the overall driving experience for the people. Without the Governor's timely intervention, the road which had been cut off will have continued to be a source of frustration and safety concerns. As a result of his leadership, commuters, and road users will breathe a sigh of relief as they will begin to travel with ease and confidence on the reconstructed road. Indeed, the Governor has set a positive example of what responsible governance looks like and demonstrated how leaders can use their position to prioritize the needs of their people.

TundeBricklayer:We believe in Anambra and are seriously counting on Soludo. Atleast he has proven his capacity in terms of attracting investors with the ANinvestment summit. While we commend him, I wish he can dualiz Ifite road. Yes we know a lot of house and edifices hv to go down to achieve that but it's for our own good.

Anambra is so blessed with human capital. Congratulations to the Onitsha born... |
Bestmanfornow:I am particularly happy they started from Amawbia flyover down to Nkwele axis where the road will meet with the already constructed portion down to Onitsha and U-turn back to Awka. This will be a boost to Anambra international airport. No doubt, accessibility of this Onitsha lane of Amawbia-Onitsha axis will increase traffic@the airport.

Happy birthday beautiful woman. |
Anambra is a state to reckon on. Congratulations to the people. |
Notice that the road is not bad anyways... That's what overspending caused That's why it's important governors and senior citizens have ambulance/ medical team and fire fighting truck in their convoy. It's not for fancy. |
This is what we call development in the right direction. Very fiscal |

clems88:Such self contain in Onitsha environ is N180-200k + 40k. How many graduates have a paying job of 200k to start with in Nigeria of today. How many graduates had that opportunity to save 10k par month to start with? Why u no go ur papa house dey sleep and ur capital will fall from heaven? How much did Federal government (NYSC) Pay you as graduate without accommodation?? E reach 40k? How much is Nigeria minimum wage without accommodation?? E reach 40k? We are not even sure you are a graduate because you never disclose that. May we never meet ungrateful people in our life. |
clems88:it pains how ungrateful people are. This days ppl proudly reward good gesture with evil. My question? Where u never told ur salary in ur employment latter? Has the man ever owe/ seaze ur salary? He even gave you self contain apartment+ 40k salary... If u were left alone, can you pay house rent in Onitsha... Selfcon for that matter. Tufiakwa. How many graduate hv that opportunity to get such work which they can relay on to build their own dream?? You are an ingrate |
NLegendforte:In Ekwulobia, Soludo compensated those (very few) with government approval but naysayers will never tell you this. |

And talking about Igbo unity, this jobless YouTuber has not help any Ebonyi state person more than Anambra men do. Go and trace the root of every successful big guys of Ebonyi state, you will find out that either themselves, their boss or father served Anambra person. But how many Igbos or Ebonians has Ebonyi men who are wailing on Cyber space called for boi (Apprentice) and settled him, even in their popular Akpakara Tingwom ( scraps ) business?. You're trained to train others! But there are few who are good and these good ones are children of God, their lives have been affected by the Word and Grace of God. All the big names in Ebonyi must have passed through Anambra person, even their politicians. Price Arthur Eze made/supported David Umahi in his political career. How else do you need to be loved before you will understand that no body hates you. I think you're ingrate. That's why fools like this YouTuber are celebrating the Abakaliki boy that killed his Anambra boss (destiny helper) in Awka. With this kind of jealous and ungrateful character, no man will fullfil his potential.
|
Enugupikin:So someone killed his destiny helper and u are rejoicing over it... Are u making mockery of the deceased who you are going to join one day, or the house help who's destiny has been shattered because he will be facing life imprisonment?? |

Poverty is that you?? Lazy Nigerian youth has drop a post on nairaland. Unbelievable someone will sit-down and think this out... If the wasted energy and effort was spent on a better thing, the OP will not be battling with poverty/joblessness. |
Penguin2:You forgot Abia |
NLegendforte:My brother, No compensation for a owner who's house was demolished except the house have Cof O/ government approval... Can I tell you this? Most house in Nigeria don't have it. Let's just be sincere to ourselves... That's what played out in Ekwulobia where Soludo is currently expanding and building flyover. The truth still remain that we can not build the Anambra State of our dream without houses going down. The same things is going on in Awka; I mean what do you expect in a state with overflowing human capital where everyone is a government on his own? A good example is one house in front of Eke Awka round about by Gbarimgba... The 2story edifices has been marked for demolition several times by almost all past administrations, next thing... Order will come from Abuja stating that the said house should not be demolished. It's high time Anambrarians see reasons with state government and sacrifice what it takes to build a better homeland. |
Let each and everyone of us here replicate this act in his or her own little way... Starting from our respective families. That's the true spirit of Anambra, and that's how we grow.
