Do you have SSCE Physics past question and answers? Look for the year 1989 question no.36 and study that question carefully and then choose one of the option from A - E and then come back to explain the reason for your answer.

Do we have exprienced physics teachers or do we have people who are grounded in physics. If we have, please indicate by replying to this thread. Am going to send in complicating past questions in WAEC for discussion. I know that no body is perfect but atleast one has to be good to some extent.

I completed my secondary education since 2008. I could not go further imediately because of lack funds and some other problems. Now am preparing to go to the university.
But for the meantime, will it be easy for me to secure a teaching job for my self with Waec, Neco or Gce certificate in a private primary school in my area.
Am science oriented. I did science in my secondary school day, am good in chemistry, maths, biology, christian religious study, physics, english, economic and geography but not perfect in it because I credited them all.
To be precise, I leave in Otukpo, one L.G.A in Benue state.

I fear for one thing. Only one thing do I fear. Crime (arm robbery, smuggling of arms into the country, moving ilegal material into the state e.t.c). I support the idea of removing ilegal road blocks, like the one we use to see on the streets and towns before it was removed. That is a good move by the IGP.
I don't want to understand it this way; that we no longer have road block or checkpoints on our highways. If we no longer have check points on our high ways, that means Nigerian is heading for grave consequences. Some body should please confirm.

That's a good news my dear. If our security agencies continue like this, robbery crime will be at it barest minimum in this country.

Majority of the filling stations in my area where selling at the rate of N120, N130 and N150 per litre. Only few were selling at N97 per litre.
Taskforce later intervened by going round the all the filling station to make sure that all comply to the N97 price announced by goverment on monday morning. That nearly resulted to break down of law and order as some group of okada boys rode to many of the filling station that failed to comply atempting to destroy their facility and threating to beat up any of the staff that will come into their way.
The matter become worse when all the filling stations consesusly decided not to sell again. That gave the blackmakerters chance to showcase their various talents. Many of the blackmakerters where selling at the rate of N300, N350 and N400 to those who are desprate to buy. The situation forced many okada men who do not have fuel to go home and park their motorcycle leaving only the few forturnate ones to enjoy the business ground.
This incindence occured yesterday being tuesday and we are still filling the impact uptill this morning being wednesday as many adopted the trekking system of transport due to the sort of frustrations in getting a n okada.

Nothing been happen for Otukpo in the morning before but later in the afternoon, they come do one small protest.
Some Okada boys, some jobless youths, some illitrate and less informed youths and event the few learned ones gathered themself de protest. They been start from roundabout where dem dey been burn tire. From roundabout they park their self enter Ochidoma palace where the Ochìdoma (their Local Chief or King incharge of Idoma Nation) address them. From Ochidoma palace, They went to OcheOtukpo (another local chief in charge of Otukpo town) court yard to make known their grievances. From OcheOtukpo's court, they went round the streets and chanting protest songs as they marched through.
Another hapening to my dismay is that when I went to drink tea from meshai (Abokis) in the morning , I did not see any meshia around the street except only one that I saw that managed to muster courage and decided to be doing his meshia no matter what. The meshias, don't want to come out becuase of fear of reprisal attack from christians who felt hurt becuase of the killing in the north. There was a simillar reports where a trailer driver (Mallam) was stoped around the Otukpo Roundabout by protesters. The Mallam and the occupants in the lorry ran for their dear lives. The angry protesters use that opportunity to get into the lorry and loot some of the goats in the lorry.
Despite all these hapenings, that did not deter the few Okadas and filling Station that open for business from doing their business instead the situation on ground gave them a boost in their business.

Ok explain how 200 billion from yaradua subsidy jumped to 1.3 trillion during GEJ ?

That is another reason why the subsidy should not be allowed to stay. Rember, during Obsanjo time, subsidy was about N500 million. At Yaradua time, it climbed N200 billion just like you have mentioned. Now at Goodluck time, it skyrocketed to N1.3 trillion.
These are the more reason why it has to be removed. If it is allow to stay, the amount (subsidy) used in maintaining the price of fuel at N65 or less will keep on increasing due to corruption and high cost of importation of pure fuel from abroad. Now that the subsidy has been removed, the money saved from the policy will be pulled back into other areas of the economy like providing social amenities, good eductational system, health system if only the fund are well monitored. Again, if the subsidy is allowed to stay, it means the goverment will be using huge chunk of it revenue (funds) in subsidizing the cost of petrol. If that continues, it therefore means that our borrowing atitude will never stop and development will be at a snail speed. One thing about Nigerian goverment is that when they borrow, they don't service the loan on time and all this will be compounding our economic wows.

Am in Otukpo, Benue State. Nothing dey happen for my area. Banks, market and schools are close. People are going about their normal businesses. Filling stations been do graga say dem no go open in the morning but come later open.Few Okada men are busy on the road making their small small change. I have not seen anybody or group protesting.
As I waka pass the local police headquater opposite First Bank in the morning, I saw officers and men been gathered in an assembly and been addressed by their local oga. I don't no what their boss is addressing them on, maybe about the protest that is expected to take place or something else. Na Otukpo, I dey report from so.

NLC and TUC should not be talking about going to strike now.Embarking on strike now will destroy the economy the more. NLC and TUC should be ready to strike a bargain with fedral goverment. They should be like asking goverment to punish those who have benefited ilegally from the importation of pure fuel before fuel subsidy was scraped. They should be asking goverment, what are the parlliative set out to heal the wounds of the agrieved people? What are the key tangible projects that will be achieved before the year runs out? Steady unimterupted power supply and massive roads and rails construction and maintanance should be put forward to the fedral goverment as the two key tangible projects that if one or both of them is achieved, Nigeria will begin to change for better. Some people are of the view that some percent should be deducted from the allowances and salaries of goverment officials. If NLC and TUC is ready to stand on one ground the fedral goverment is ready to bow to such demands.
If they dialogue this out; that will do more good than harm compare to when NLC and TUC embark on strike yeaning that subsidy should stay.

Both Okonjo and Sanusi have policy summersaults in recent times. Was it not Ngozi that announced Palliatives after Fuel price increases in 2005 and yet we can't see where their so-called palliatives are since then!

My own no get problem at all afterall na Okada I dey carriam do. I dey for Benue State in a town known as Otukpo. I dey buy my fuel from Beco filling station at the rate N90 per litre. About four and half litre dey full my tank and that don do me to cover atleast N1500 or more if work dey. So me I no get problem even if dem like make dem carry go N200 per litre becuase na business I dey useam do. The more they increase the price of the fuel the more I go increase the price of my service. Chikinah!
