CrimeKsmart:
I applied for driving license through someone since early March, up till now I have not been called for capturing and the person said the portal has been closed. Please is the person a scam or can anyone confirm this for me and when they will open the portal.

I was also informed from a very reliable source that the portal for new entries is closed. But renewals are still ongoing.
On when the portal will be open, I have no information.

Good you quoted this post. I was about
replying and I saw it was deleted.

@Adaba0803, pls next time be very specific on your job description.

Were you hired to pick up and deliver an item or to inspect and interfere in pricing/bargains?

As someone who does deliveries for nairalanders, it’s important to be clear on the service I am rendering. Which is strictly pick up and delivery.

The most I can do is confirm the item is what I am supposed to pick up via a live video to my client.

Your comments about the pricing of the dining set obviously influenced your client to make a u-turn on the purchase, which also came at a cost to the seller.

Sorry for the stress and I hope this experience will guide your future deliveries.

Nice looking out. If that’s the case though, I think it’d just be best to put the job link and expected salary here, then advise applicants to put you as a reference or copy in the mail application.

Quoting a figure might be counterproductive as people that quoted higher might want to compromise and vice versa. Nice one Mrs. Rad. More oils to your engine.

WARNING.

Any serious deal you want to do with anyone you just met, online/offline, be advised to make it iron-clad.

People are most times not just straight forward with the truth.

Xneg This is your thread.

Reports reaching me have suggested that you aren't true to your word. (Your word means nothing).

I was told a story and I will tell it as it was told to me.

I had to lower my windows at the time the VIO flagged me down.

It was a trap.
You should have worn it before lowering your windows.

Driving privately without face mask isn’t an offense.
By lowering your windows to communicate, you are already in the public space.
