It is really Sad that it is the elders who are now teaching the "intelligent" Youths how to Play politics

it is rare to see youths in PDP or APC greet each other in the public talk less of laughing when they see each other

Election is not violence

The youth are the leaders of Tomorrow not Fighters of Today

FYI That is Governor Okowa( Delta PDP Governorship candidate ) and the ex-governor Mr Uduaghan ( Delta APC senatorial Candidate )

Second Picture Chief Ogboru( Delta APC Governorship Candidate) and the Governor Okowa ( PDP)

SportsRecords Ronaldo And Messi Have Not Broken (yet) by chily11(op): 5:04pm On Jan 02, 2019
Most goals in European Cup finals: 7 – Alfredo Di Stéfano, Ferenc Puskás (both Real Madrid)
Goals in most European Cup finals: 5 – Alfredo Di Stéfano (Real Madrid, 1956, 1957, 1958. 1959, 1960)
Most goals in a single European Cup final: 4 – Ferenc Puskás (Real Madrid, 1960)

Messi has scored only two final goals (in 2009 and 2011) while Ronaldo has four (one apiece in 2008 and 2014, and two in 2017) but is still three shy of the record shared by two Real Madrid predecessors. The Portuguese has also made six final appearances: one less than Alfredo Di Stéfano and two shy of record holders Francisco Gento (Real Madrid) and Paolo Maldini (AC Milan).

Meanwhile Ronaldo's final double in 2017 is the nearest either he or Messi have come to matching Puskás's four-goal haul in 1960.

Most appearances in the UEFA Champions League/European Cup (including qualifying): 177 – Iker Casillas

Ronaldo (124) and Messi (109) are in a field of their own when it comes to UEFA club competition goals, but have a way to go to reach Casillas's level in terms of European games.

Indeed Messi is 28th in the all-time UEFA competition appearance rankings with 133; Ronaldo – two years and 139 days older than Messi – ranks fifth with 166. Ronaldo will not overhaul his one-time Real Madrid team-mate any time soon, but he needs just eight more appearances to catch AC Milan hero Maldini's outfield record of 174.

When it comes to Europe's elite competition, Ronaldo's 162 outings put him second in the rankings (with Messi tenth on 129); however, Casillas remains 15 appearances ahead of him.

Final wins with the most teams in the UEFA Champions League: 3 – Clarence Seedorf (Ajax 1995, Real Madrid 1998, Milan 2003, 2007)

Highest number of teams scored for in the UEFA Champions League: 6 – Zlatan Ibrahimović (Ajax, Juventus, Internazionale, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain)

Ronaldo is unique in having scored in UEFA Champions League finals for two different winning clubs – Manchester United in 2008, and Madrid in 2014 and 2017. The luckless Velibor Vasović is the only player to register in European Cup finals for two different losing clubs, Partizan in 1966 and Ajax in 1969. Ronaldo's summer move to Juventus put him in line to match Clarence Seedorf's unique achievement of winning the competition with three different clubs.

Ibrahimović's record looks even safer from Messi and Ronaldo, who would have to start moving clubs regularly – while still scoring – to make it to six. All of Messi's strikes to date have come for Barcelona, while Ronaldo has only played for United, Madrid and Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.

Oldest goalscorer

UEFA Champions League final: Paolo Maldini (36 years 333 days) – Milan v Liverpool (25/05/2005)

UEFA Champions League, group stage to final: Francesco Totti (38 years 59 days) – CSKA Moskva v Roma (25/11/2014)

European Cup: Manfred Burgsmüller (38 years 293 days) – Werder Bremen v Dynamo Berlin (11/10/1988)

If our dynamic duo are to surpass Maldini's record as the oldest final scorer, they will have to be patient. Ronaldo's first chance will be in the 2021/22 final, while Messi will not be in line until the 2023/24 showpiece – and only then provided it does not take place before 23 May, in which case he would have to wait another year.

To overtake the UEFA Champions League oldest scorer mark, Ronaldo will need to register in the competition, group stage to final, after 1 April 2023, and Messi after 22 August 2025. To become the European Cup's all-time oldest scorer, Ronaldo will have to hit the net after 22 November 2023, and Messi after 13 April 2026.

Fastest UEFA Champions League goal: Roy Makaay (10.12 seconds) – Bayern München v Real Madrid (07/03/2007)

Fastest UEFA Champions League final goal: Paolo Maldini (53 seconds) – Milan v Liverpool (25/05/2005)

Roy Makaay established a somewhat daunting target with his strike pretty much straight from kick-off against Madrid in 2007. Ronaldo's earliest UEFA Champions League effort came in the fourth minute – for Madrid against Juventus in October 2013 – while Messi's fastest arrived three minutes into Barcelona's 7-0 win against Celtic in September 2016.

Maldini's quickfire final goal versus Liverpool is also a mark neither Ronaldo nor Messi have come close to achieving; both of Messi's final goals were in the second half, with the earliest of Ronaldo's four coming 20 minutes into the 2017 decider against Juventus in Cardiff.

Fastest UEFA Champions League hat-trick: Bafétimbi Gomis (8 mins) – Dinamo Zagreb v Olympique Lyonnais, 07/12/2011

With a treble against PSV on matchday one this season, Messi edged ahead of Ronaldo in terms of the record for UEFA Champions League hat-tricks – eight – though neither have outstripped Bafétimbi Gomis's lightning-quick treble against Dinamo. The swiftest of Messi's hat-tricks – his first – took 22 minutes (v Arsenal, 06/04/10), though a mere 16 minutes separated his second and fourth strikes in his five-goal salvo against Bayer Leverkusen on 7 March 2012. Ronaldo's 12-minute treble against Malmö is his fastest to date.

Christianity EtcBrief history Of Santa Claus by chily11(op):
The story of Santa Claus begins with St. Nicholas who was a Bishop living in Turkey around 4th century AD.

He had a rich inheritance from his parents and is known for his generosity in giving gifts to poor people. According to one legend, he slipped bags of gold down the chimney of a poor man who did not have money to marry his 3 daughters.

Though he was later exiled, his stories were told around the globe. In the UK he became known as 'Father Christmas', in Germany 'Christ Kind' and in the US 'Kris Kringle.' The early Dutch settlers in the US changed the name of Kris Kringle to Sinterklas or as we now say Santa Claus... though at this point no one cares, they just want the presents‼

PoliticsRead Atiku Abubakar's Letter For The Fallen Heroes Of 157 Task Force by chily11(op): 2:10pm On Dec 15, 2018
In Honour of the Heroes From 157 Task Force Battalion: Nigeria Must Never Forget Their Sacrifice.

Abuja, Nigeria, 15 December, 2018: Today, I saw the pictures of the funeral of the officers and men of the 157 Task Force battalion of the Nigerian Army based in Metele and who were killed by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists and my heart went out to the men, their families and to our entire armed forces. May their souls rest in peace and may God grant their families fortitude at such a trying time.

I am further pained that neither the President or his vice were in attendance at the funeral and that the Federal Government did not send a high powered delegation to represent the government at the funeral.

This is sad and totally unacceptable. This is beyond politics. This touches our shared humanity. What would it cost for the President to take a day and fulfil his role as head of state by attending the funeral of such men of honour and valour?

The sad part of it is that a day before their funeral, President Muhammadu Buhari took time out of his busy schedule to host Nollywood stars at the Presidential Villa.

I appreciate Nollywood and I have personally done a lot, both in my private capacity and when I was Vice President, to promote that vitally important industry. However, it does not send a right message to the men and women who are fighting for Nigeria if you can attend a get together of entertainers but you cannot find the time to honour those who make the peace we are benefitting from possible.

I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to learn from French President Emmanuel Macron, who on March 28, 2018 took a whole day off to attend the funeral of Lt Col Arnaud Beltrame, who was killed by a terrorist after a March 24, 2018 terror attack on the South of France.

It will be recalled that Time Magazine reported that that singular act by Mr. Macron boosted the morale of French security forces more than any other action in France’s war on terror. Nigeria lost the opportunity to do the same thing to our military and security forces.

I am in deep mourning and my grief is further compounded by the fact that the Federal Government ignored my advise to them to declare a few days of national mourning so that the nation could pay its respects to these men who gave so much that we may have peace. But it is never too late to honour those who died for Nigeria.

Once again, may their souls rest in peace.

Crime6 Killed, 12 Injured In Stampede At Italian Nightclub by chily11(op):
Six people died in a stampede at a nightclub near Ancona in central Italy after panic erupted in the early hours of Saturday morning, firefighters said. "The cause may have been the dispersal of a stinging substance, the young people fled and trampled over each other. Sadly, six people died and dozens are injured," the fire service said in a statement.

Local reports said around 1,000 people were in the Blue Lantern club in the town of Corinaldo on the Adriatic coast for a performance by Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta. The accident happened around 1:00 am. "We were dancing and waiting for the concert to start when we smelt this pungent odour," a 16-year-old boy who was taken to the hospital told the media. "We ran to one of the emergency exits but we found it blocked, the bouncers told us to go back.

SportsCause Of Leicester City Helicopter Crash Revealed by chily11(op): 7:56pm On Dec 06, 2018
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have revealed the cause of the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of five people, including Leicester City chairman and owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

The helicopter picked Srivaddhanaprabha up in the centre of the pitch at Leicester's King Power Stadium after their game against West Ham, as it often did, and took off before losing control shortly after and crashing down in a car park just outside the stadium before becoming engulfed in flames.

The other four victims were Srivaddhanaprabha's staff Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, as well as pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz.

The report explains that a pin had come loose due to a "build-up of black grease", causing the pilot's pedals to become unable to control the tail rotor, leading to a loss of control of the aircraft and subsequent crash.

"The tail rotor actuator control shaft became disconnected from the actuator lever mechanism," the report stated.

"The disconnection stopped the feedback mechanism for the tail rotor actuator from operating and the tail rotor actuator from responding to yaw control inputs.

"This resulted in an uncontrollable right yaw."

The incident was met with an outpouring of grief from around the world and there were several moving tributes to the memory of a chairman who took Leicester to the unlikeliest of Premier League titles at odds of 5000/1 in 2016.
