Dile thanks for not confessing to being a Chelsea fan or at least anti manu. for manu being pro British even mourinho would tell you that there are special things about British players which are admirable eg. their fighting spirit and fitness levels , thats why he has confessed to wanting to build a core of the Chelsea team on young British(English )players e.g Cole,SWP,lampard,Terry,Johnson etc. its only fair for an English team to be pro British, i know you'd want to suggest manus playing style is too British but i believe teams should play to their strenghts with tactical changes whenever necessary as for Quinton fortune where do you suggest he play and for whom? giggsy or in central midfield ahead of Keane or scholes or probably ahead of Heinz at left full back.Q fortune unfortunately with all his talent can only remain a squad player useful as a stopgap and very efficient he lacks the pace or sufficient skill (i actually believe he has the skill-look at him at the 2000 Olympics and for south Africa) but lacks the confidence to show it). hes an integral part of the squad but not a first teamer , even at Chelsea Joe Cole found it impossible to get playing time if no t for injuries, every good manager has his first eleven and only slots in replacements with injuries .its only in few cases that theses replacements break into the first team fully.

Also i threw up this topic in relation to the aspiring enterpreneur. most of the big IT companies today started as small startups and grew when people invested and so did other non IT companies too. Thats why before the crash of 1999 and 2000 many had become multimillionaires selling shares in the companies. Now how many of us here are looking in that direction.
I believe actually for you to sell stock publicly you have to have been a publicly registered business for 5 years before listing but you can avoid this by having a private offer for interested folks.
In 2003, the fromer Malaysian prime minister, who was voted as entepreneur of the year said that the probl;em of most enterpreneurs was their fear of lossing hold of their business.i.e they attached too much sentimental value to the businesses and that was the reason for the poor growth of most businesses. So who'll be the first to seel we can actually have an investment forum here too.

One of my less demanding pastimes is watching Nigerian home movies. Whenever i am home i get to watch some of these Pseudo-comedies, with all their poor story lines, editing, acting and all. But the beauty is despite these high level of incompetence they are seen all over Africa (and the world too) and are seen as standards for style,dress , makeup e.t.c. One of the more popular producers owned up by saying they now make movies for the MARKET WOMAN. My main concern however these days are the poor visual effects and editing, i actually believe that there are guys out there doing great stuff especially on nairaland who can get rid of these mediocrity. So are there any visual/graphic editors out there ??

At least with Troussier our team wont be so predictable as in the Chukwu or Onigbinde days when even my grandmother could predict the starting line up and our approach play based on the players that turned up. Dont forget that a high powered panel has been set up to ensure our qualification.(although i think chief Tony Anenih should be added to head that team) so we still have a good chance of qualifying.or what do you think?

For a while, most of the young people I knew would only invest in new clothes, electronics or other stuff. But when I came to serve in Jalingo I got drawn into investing in the stock market as a long term process. The only shares most of my friends and colleagues had were probably those bought by their loving parents a while back. I'd like to ask two questions:

1. What do you think about the stock market?
2. Have you ever invested in stock?

thank god you commented to being an ASSenal fan(pardon the pun) but you seem a bit uneducated football wise chelsea plays a l 4-4-2 which actually is a 4-3-3 with 4 defenders ,makalelel,lampard , eidur, with robben duff forward and drogba in the middle in a diamond shaped formation. no manager in his right mind even with all michels talent willl place him ahead of any of these midfield or forward palyers at thius time except for injuries. now we have swp for 21 million and probably essien. where does michel fit in to this puzzle i might ask

First off all, I have to confess to being a Manchester United Fan , but I am going to be as objective as possible.

Well Mikel Obi had a great under-21 competition and I think he's one of the best prospects around today, but I fear he's about ruining all that because of money.

Now personally as a football fan I think Mikel should head to Old Trafford where he'll get all the mentoring he needs and the opportunity to play at any level. It's a Manchester United tradition to allow young players play at the highest level when they show the ability. The Manchester United midfield has enough space from McNeal at the moment and with young chaps like Ronaldo, Rooney and Fletcher he won't be out of place at all. He'll get his chance sooner rather than later.

On the other hand at Chelsea he'd have to cope with a midfield already bursting with experience and personnel - Cole, Duff, [Swp??], Lampard, Makalele, Geremi, Jarosik, Thiago, Robben, and there's the little matter of Micheal Essien too.

I'd like to hear your comments, especially Chxta's

basically this might sound a bit crazy but i am going with the flow and giving a 4-4-2 but i tink this is a bit too predicatable id prefer a 3-5-2 with yobo odiah and probably taiwo behind , lawal giving some cover just infront of them and a midfield of oruma, olofinjana, and michel with utaka and abwo pushing forward and them the combination of makniwa and martins upfront. notice ive left out messrs kanu and okocha. thing being id have okocha in for michel or kanu .how many of you agree?
