Health / Brazilian Man Found Alive In Body Bagin Morgue by chimaobikanu(m): 2:13pm On Aug 28, 2014
As the man approached the body of
his brother lying in a morgue in
Salvador, Brazil, he noticed that the
body inside was squirming. Walter Goncalves realised that his
brother, Valdelucio, had not died at
the age of 54 but in fact had a few
more years left in him. Doctors at the Menandro de Farias
General Hospital had thought
Valdelucio Goncalves had died
following respiratory failure and
multiple organ failure. Yet two hours
later he was found alive in a body bag by his brother. After the brother alerted the morgue,
Goncalves was taken back to the
hospital for treatment and was then
photographed alive, both thumbs up. The hospital in Salvador has now
opened an investigation into the
incident. Goncalves' niece, Patricia, told Correio
24 Horas: “The bag was closed and
moving. Up and down as if he was
breathing. Then he (the brother)
called everyone to see what was
happening. He was with the feet tied and with cotton in the nose and ears." This is not the first time someone has
been presumed deceased mistakenly. Earlier this year, workers at a US
funeral home were shocked after a
body they were preparing to embalm
suddenly woke up kicking. Despite
being examined by the Mississippi
county coroner, 78-year-old Walter Williams came back to life hours after
he had been officially pronounced
dead.

Roberto Calderoli, the deputy
speaker
of Italy’s Senate, was widely
condemned after comparing Cecile
Kyenge, the former integration
minister, to an ape in June last year. He later claimed he was a
“misunderstood animal lover” and
refused to resign. But that
explanation
failed to convince the prosecutor of
Bergamo, who ordered him to stand
trial for defamation aggravated by
racial discrimination. The trial is
ongoing. After a spate of bad luck -
including
undergoing six operations, losing his
mother and last week finding a 6ft
snake in his house - Calderoli told
the
weekly gossip magazine, Oggi, that
African spirits have plotted against him in revenge for the insult. He is
now calling on the help of an
exorcist. “Maybe I should put an
ad in a
newspaper or call Bergoglio (Pope
Francis), if he’s not too busy accommodating immigrants in our
country, but I absolutely need to
find
an exorcist,” he said. Calderoli said
the string of bad luck
started after a video emerged of Kyenge’s father, Clement Kikoko
Kyenge, leading a ceremony in a
village in Democratic Republic of
Congo last year during which he
asked God to free the politician of
evil thoughts. A photo of Calderoli was
also placed in
the middle of a termite mound as
Mr
Kyenge asked ancestors of the
village to do the same. “I’ve never been
superstitious but
after this, things started happening
more and more,” Calderoli said. He
also claimed to have suffered two
broken fingers and two broken verterbrae as a result of the curse.
A lucky charm in the shape of a red
chilli pepper given to him by
friends in
an attempt to ward off the evil
spirits also mysteriously snapped in half a
day later, he said. source: www.thelocal.it/20140828/ive-

In those day's, my brother always say "my mama raised no fool baby, so where are you from?". He also use to say "stop reasoning through your anus and for once, make use of your brain!" and the most annoying of them all "i've told you to stop holding up fart, cause it travels back to the brain and that's where shitty ideas come from!". Lol

@OP, thanks for this. I was about starting a topic like this, but in my case its the "Lebanese". I mean why do all these third class onyibo's enslave Nigerian's in the same Nigeria. This can never happen in (talking of the ones i know); Germany, GB, France, USA, Canada, and the rest of them.

i need a tipple like button for this reply. tell them, wish they had someone like T.A Orji as Enugu state Governor, then they would have known!
Sam Milla:

It is easier to call him ediot because he is not your wretched father who could not afford your school fees.
As shallow minded as you are, your silly mind did not tell you that everybody does not do the same thing at the same time. While the allocation of Imo state is far bigger than that of Enugu, have you taken out time to see that Enugu is far more better than Owerri?

omafones: As many of you now know Apple has finally recognized Nigeria in their iTunes Store.

I have now registered for iTunes in Nigeria, using my Nigerian address, email address and a Nigerian registered visa debit card. i have even bought a .99c app using my Nigerian debit card - took only a few minutes.

However I don't seem to be able to find any music for sale. There are loads of books, there Nigerian themed apps and other more traditional apps, but i can't find any music. Even when i search my the name of the artist all i get is books or apps about the artist, no music and neither are there any films.

Am I missing something here? has anyone out there used the Nigerian iTunes? what is your experience.

tried using my diamond bank debit card to register, but it didnt work sad
