Hotstepper:@Hotstepper Why u dey make mouth? If your husband tells you that he does not want you to work, what will you do? Absolutely nothing I tell you. If you disobey him, he will tell you to go back to your fathers house. Then u don enter bigger wahala because we igbo guys no dey marry divorcee unless you wan dey single or dey jump from one man to the other till u die. I will not allow my wife to work for the first 15yrs of our marriage because she will be at home raising the kids. I will have to discuss it with my future wife before we get married, if she does not agree, she goes her way marriage no be by force. Most women of these days are heartless, who will you leave your young children for while working? Nannies? Na wao no nanny will ever take care of your children the way you would. If the Man can afford it, I don't see the reason why a woman wouldn't stay at home and take care of the kids. Money is not everything, children come first in a family before money. What of if a couple should face their careers and leave their children in the care of nannnies, after making the whole money in this world but they have monsters for children who where raised by nannies? Do you think those children can manage those wealth that the parents accumulated? No way!! They would squander every penny of it, I have seen countless families where it happened in Kano State where I grew up. My uncles wife studied Chemical Engineering in the university but she is a fulltime housewife and her husband loves her for the sacrifice she made. He gives her what she wants, presently she drives a Mercedes Benz E-Class. Now you ladies how many of you can afford to buy this with all your work? Please Ladies you guys need to put your Kids welfare before your so called career, OK. |
Me too, I don't want to do it. How can I get an exemption? |
Donzman:@Donzman, LMAO, I wish u luck anyway ![]() |
mamaput:@Mamaput I am Igbo, born and bred in Kano Nigeria. I have been studying in the UK for 4 years now. I've got friends from different part of Nigeria and I agree with the statement you made above. It is a fact. An Average Middle-Class Nigerian Man from a good resposible home (and I mean those Nigerians from a wealthy comfortable background) see a black dating a white as a LovePeddler. They might even date you (in the back if their minds they are simply enjoying themselves) but will never marry you. |
My Sponsors (father) Bank Account was overdrawn by more than 5 million naira (5M) in 2002 when I applied for a visa, but I was still given a Visa to come to the UK and study. In the interview the case worker asked me how my father would sponsor me when he was overdrawn by 5 million, and I explained everything to him. Guess what? I only went to Abuja once for my Interview and I was called 3 months later to come and collect my Visa. British High Commission does not care how much your sponsor has in their account but are more interested in the account activities (that is the amount that goes in and out of the account). Another thing is that some Nigerians make stupid mistakes in their application. And The case worker will think "if this student can not complete a simple form, how can he adapt and succeed in the UK that has a different teaching method". These Case Workers are like Robots, they only work with the information you provided them with. Never assume that they will think like this or like that, they don't they work with tick sheets. |

I will not be surprised if she is in her 30's. I have been saying this for a long time that Beyonce looks a bit too old (for a black lady) to be in her mid 20's. If she was Oyibo, I might agree cos they age fast. |
adconline:It is quite a harsh way of describing Nigerians abroad. That is if he (Frank Nweke) really made that statement. |
