Education › I Predicted Right About ASUU Suspending The Strike . by Chimera30(op): 5:46am On Oct 14, 2022 |
Good morning Everyone. At the early stage of ASUU strike in April, my friend , a lady told me ASUU strike would be suspended as soon as campaign season starts. So i made this comment https://www.nairaland.com/7175689/strike-fg-meets-ASUU-today/1#113774560 as a reminder.. And boy did it happen just the way she said it. Even MNK was discharged by appeal court .. probably to keep his followers at bay and not cause any disruptions during this election season. 2023 Elections go be full of ......... |

AgboC: you seeehee even though I don't believe this honesty thing as been discussed here cos it's almost as if the word is becoming outdated. But you see my guy, if you continue this way ehee I bet you, you will soon see yourself were you least expected. Though it may not pay you now in cash but you will soon be withdrawing hard cash from your account. You see honesty and hardwork gives you a secret wealth beyond imagination. If you change, u will soon bankrupt but if you endure and you are patient, then very soon, you will call this number (08143969511) for a testimony. We fail to understand that virtures are better than money. It commands favour, money and respect instead of following money. Don't be surprised they may start calling you back with good offers from where you just resigned from. If you change life and nature will automatically turn against you, ask any dishonest and lazy folk about it. Amen and Thank you Sir. |

optm: Keep being honest, it's a virtue most nigerians lack . Those supporting stealing , i hope you know that by doing that, you are running down someone's business and ultimately, people's source of lively hood. By doing that, u make many people loose their jobs and cause families to go hungry. There's no justification for evil. No excuse can make evil good. If you feel you deserve more in your job and you are not getting it, please quit, rather than run down someone's business and make others jobless . Also for employers of labour, if your business can afford paying your staff well, please do pay them well and be not too greedy for profit at the detriment of your staff welfare. If we learn to put ourselves in the shoes of others, it would be easier to act better and justly towards them. Do unto others as you'll want to be done to you. Thank you |

arzizhy: You still dont deserve a full month pay since it's not your annual leave. Businesses are not run on sentiments and emotion. You won't try it with a white person. Remember they pay by the hour. And please stop making anything special out of how you worked for the company. No one ask you to run it like it's your own. It is expected of you to be diligent and hardworking. I'm sure it's one of the reasons they gave you the job in the first place K |

arzizhy: Isn't that the way you were supposed to serve the company? Didn't you write in your application about how you will be diligent and hardworking. Why does it appear to you like you have done something special by working hard. Isn't that what is expected of you? Bringing former employee stealing info into this write up suggested that you regret not haven stolen your own share. How would you expect to go for 2 weeks for burial and you expect them to pay you in full. How many weeks do you have in a month. Except if it's your annual leave, which from what you told us, you are not even qualified for annual leave yet Lol If i wanted to steal.. i wouldn't quit. And where in my post did i mention 2 weeks? I left work on 5thAugust and resumed on 12th August with permission fully granted.. only to receive half salary on 2nd September. How is that 2 weeks? If i ran your buisness like its mine , i expect you not to reward me but at least dont treat me like a fool or a nobody we are all humans. Thank you. |

Yesterday i quit my job. I heard stories about how former employees before me, stole from the company. Even the last person i met there stole hundreds of thousands and was sacked 3 weeks after i joined. I was hardworking , honest, punctual, polite and hands on the best worker.
I was made employee of the month , a month after i joined and guess how much i was given as reward? #250! Lol After i requested permission to travel to the East for a close Aunt's burial for a week and 2 days, i was permitted yet Half of my salary for last month was still deducted and that's why i quit. After the way i served and upheld this company and even worked overtime most times and always get home very late at night. It is well.. i know God and life has better plans for me. ASUU strike or not. |

Family › Re: Skin Rashes; Nurse Told Me 2 Use Visita Plus As Body Cream For My 3wks Old Baby by Chimera30: 6:42pm On Jul 03, 2022 |
Singlelover: Good day great people of nairaland.
firstly, i want to thank everybody that contributed to finding solution that would cure my baby juandice.
someone here said i wouldn't get help here, you lied as my baby eye is now pure white insted of the formal yellow eye, and the body is now perfectly ok.
i tried the unripe pawpaw as stated by some nairalanders, and its working like mad in just three days of using it.. Thank you nairalanders, this is the reason i love this great forum.
my baby is having skin rashes, i mean sturbon rashes that refuse to go away even though i'm giving him the drugs my doctor provided.
so i took him to hospital today because of the rashes and a nurse said i should use visital plus as his body cream.
i once use it on my face, and the cream over lightened my face then..
nairalanders, is it ok for a baby of 3 weeks old to use as body cream, is it safe at all, afterall i'm not a nurse.
what should i use to treat the rashes? Pls Ma You and every nursing or expectant mother should pls take this my advice. STOP RUBBING ANYTHING ON YOUR BABY'S BODY TILL 7 OR 8 MONTHS OR EVEN 1 YEAR. DONT EVEN RUB POWDER JUST BATH THEM WITH THEIR BABY SOAP EVERYDAY , WEAR THEM THEIR CLOTH, FINISH! YOU WILL SEE HOW YOUR BABY WILL BE GLOWING WITH SMOOTH AND FAIR SKIN , EVEN IF THEY ARE BORN DARK SKINNED , YOU WILL SEE THEM GETTING FAIR AND GLOWING AND PEOPLE WOULD BE ASKING WHAT YOU USE. PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS!! |
Nairaland General › Re: Help! I'm Too Nice And People Are Taking Advantage Of My Niceness. by Chimera30: 1:44pm On Jun 29, 2022 |
Travicon: Hello Nairalanders, I will try as much as possible to make the write-up short.
I am a 21years old guy at a Russian university with two Nigerian roommates (In the hostel though). We averagely get the same amount of money as an allowance monthly, but mine always finishes first.
I don't spend unnecessarily on myself, and we cook together. I discovered after two months of staying together that they care less about buying things that we generally use in the room. For instance, I always buy food season, detergents, and cooking oil (quite expensive).
I cook most of the time. Anytime I decide not to cook, we always go hungry and I can't cope with that. This has made my cash always run out faster and I can't stop them from eating my food or using the things I buy.
There was a time also I lend the last money with me (100k in naira) to my best friend then in Nigeria because he claimed his dad was sick and promised to repay by month-end. I didn't have anything to take me through the remaining days of the month but I gave it out because he was a close friend. Month-end, I couldn't get money from my sponsor because of some issues. I contacted my guy but he stopped replying to me on WhatsApp. I managed to get 20k but the rest is probably history now.
Whenever people talk about their problems, I always feel for them to the extent of giving out my money even if it's the last cash on me. I have never had a girlfriend, but I don't always have the strength to reject if a girl asks for airtime or money from me (including my mum and sisters though)
I always try to go to any length to see people happy even if it means borrowing money from another person for them. I'm that foolish. Generally, I'm too soft-hearted and nice but I don't know how to solve this problem. Someone advised me I should get a girlfriend who should always be angry with me if I'm being too nice to people and that will help me solve the problem to some extent but I think it won't.
I'm not from a rich family, not even from an average family. I'm even from a polygamous home so I know what it means to have suffered as a Nigerian. I was on the street and I guess that's what is making me this weak emotionally. I'm a simp all-around in my life and relationship with people. People are always cheating on me, taking advantage of who I am.
I NEED genuine HELP, please. Can i send you a pm? |
