Upgrade your decoder with 189p or 190p software. It will work. Even BWTV on 7west will start working too.

That is good. It will work, I was assuming it was 42% since I have been able to achieve 65% on 1.8m. It's quite useful.

That will be the only problem because Sports24 drops up to 10% in morning hours, assuming he achieved 42% during the day, that means 32% in the morning. Watching Sports24 in the morning with 90cm or 1m dish will be almost impossible but luckily it isn't important in the morning so it can still be useful.

It's not the one you are talking about. This scalar ring is the one that is used to improve cband signal on offset dishes, it's like a cone, not just LNBF holder.

I agree with Chinedu. I have never had such issues with Sp24 using srt 4922a with the 1st powervu software. I don't know d number n I am not at home to check. Guys experiencing problems should revert to the old software to see if there will b improvement.

What u need to do is dis. Switch on d decoder from d back, press an hold d power button on d front panel almost immediately and wat it displays. If it displays anytin on d screen then it means u can revive it wit a clean usb containing d STB file downloaded from Strong website. But if it doesn't display anything, then u need a decoder of d same type an model to revive it using RS232 cable.

You have a point, that is if it was actually caused by wrong software but if it was bad virus then doing decoder to decorder via RS232 cable will be useless. I am saying it because I have had a problem of bad virus before. If that is case then changing chip or reprogramming the chip would be the only option. In my case the chip refused to be reprogrammed but I was told that after virus attack some chips can still be reprogrammed but mine was damaged.

That is it, 'common'. Scalar ring isn't common, maybe that is why those that have it in the market sell at whatever price they wish. I once thought it's too expensive but again, it's about choice, if you need it you pay and if not don't pay. It's a rare commodity. I had to pay that.

SONY TP on IS20 @ 68.5e has improved tremendously since yesterday. Mine jumped from 64% to 73%. This is good news for those struggling with poor signal there.

It's a possible chip damage. You will need to visit a technician to replace the chip and load new software. Your update flash drive might be infected with virus.

with my 4930 i watch matches perfectly.it works well on dat decoder.i think d problem is bascally faced by 4922 users

I use srt 4922a and I don’t experience this problem they are talking about. I am still using the first Powervu Software. Maybe you guys should try downgrading first.
Lesson: Don't upgrade your decoder if you are not in serious need of the update. Some people update for update sake. Updating comes with advantages and disadvantages.

This is the mixup, Sport24 is on NSS 7 20w like you said on 4129V 15405, however it's more difficult to get improved and adequate signal on that TP but on 4131V 15404 you will get stable high quality signal, interestingly this TP is what many people use. My research shows that Lyngsat.com wrote - 4129V and flysat.com wrote 4131V. Flysat is more accurate.

LNB @ 3 O'Clock, lots of tweaking btw 3 & 5 O'Clock but still no show. Is there an alternative frequency I can try? If your dish is 90cm or less, you need to try 1 metre, most people because of location find it difficult to achieve with 90cm.

If you are a premier League freak, then go for NSS 22w for Sports24 but If you like variety, with Serie A and LA Liga then IS20e is your man. I will advise you to take east side as you can attach LNBF for Apstar for more movie channels, E entertainment, Cartoons and so on. The ultimate choice is yours brother.

You can use any KU-BAND Sat near 3 west, input that TP but first you must track that position.
