I don't know how correct u are but I know dat I am tired of the this power vu spoils my bizness. I installed this thing in February and it always disappears at night. I was told to buy a 1.8m dish and an Eurostar Lnb worth #6,500 (brown packet). I did all this and yet this thing still lost signal in midst of a match. All my customers ran away. I think its time I sell off everything and go back to dstv. so I offer the following for sale:

brand new Strong 1.8m dish
1 month used 1.3m dish
brand new Eurostar Lnb
1month used super max Lnb
1 month used super Esat decoder.

Bros, it's free to Air for you. You don't have to sell everything. Something interesting might come up tomorrow. I am still watching the channel as at 10:20pm as seen in the snap shot but I just noticed that the signal strength has fallen to 45% but it's raining slightly here as we speak, it could be the reason but if it stays on till 11pm, which covers any live match, I will be very happy too.

MONCAS at Iweka but I don't think it will make any difference on 1 metre. I hope yours is 1.8 metres.

If your Sports24 goes off by 9pm like mine, just get yourself this new SuperMax, it's cheap @ 1,900k but it worth every penny. It just gave me extra 6% to hit 50% by 9pm. That means no more disappearing of Sports24. Try it.

I watch sports24 by 9/10 pm. My signal strenght is 57 and it never goes off except when d frequency was changed.

I beg to differ! With ur lnb @ position 11.804v27500 which also belongs to zuku will pop up. After roasting in the sun for several hours I finally got mine with 55% signal, it has refused to to increase. I intend to sample other lnbs. Best way is to track with 12.728h3000 as advised by other forum members

I agree, 1.8m or 2.4m will pick up Zuku channels at that position. Going for 7e first is easier without complications.

@chinedu, why are u doubting the guy, that is the kind of news we want to hear for we that are using 1m dish, lets somebody using 1m dish for 20w should confirm and give feedback to the house

I know it's welcome news but it's not true so why should he say that to start with. Ask anyone using 1.8m if he watches Sports24 by 9 or 10pm. I was on the channel when I saw the post and it didn't even improve by 1%. Why deceive people.

I wonder what's happening. I have tried that 9'e for 3days now,but no way Even tries every tricks still no way. my location is Onitsha Anambra State Southeast of Nigeria.I used Startimes 1m dish.

Econet Media is giving DSTV a run for its money, as it has signed a deal with the English Premier League to show premier league matches for free.

On Wednesday, the Premier League announced that Econet Media, owned by Strive Masiyiwa, a Zimbabwean tycoon, struck a deal valid for the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons.

“The Premier League is pleased to announce that Econet Media has acquired the package of free-to-air broadcasting rights that it makes available in sub-Saharan Africa,” Premier League said in a statement.

“The agreement is for the three seasons 2016/17–2018/19 and Econet, through its Kwese Sports platform, will make available one Saturday afternoon Premier League match live on a free-to-air basis each weekend of the season.

“The matches, along with weekly preview and review shows, will be available in 50 countries across the region.”

Speaking on Kwese and the Econet media deal, Masiyiwa, who is also Zimbabwe’s richest man, said: “Kwesé TV is our new soon-to-be-launched satellite and broadcasting network, wholly owned by Econet Media, a subsidiary of Econet Group.”

“After the launch of Kwesé TV later this year, I’ll also use this as a case study on how to set up a major business venture like this one.

“Timing is important in business. Notice that I didn’t shout out, ‘hey guys, I’m bidding for the English Premier League.’ Do it first, before you start talking about it!”

Richard Scudamore, Premier League executive chairman, expressed his pleasure at the deal, saying: “We are very pleased that Econet Media has chosen to invest in the package of free-to-air broadcasting rights that we have made available in sub-Saharan Africa.

“Premier League clubs enjoy passionate support across sub-Saharan Africa and these rights are important to ensuring that as many fans as possible can follow and enjoy our competition.”

Kwese has already acquired rights to show matches in Spain’s Copa del Rey, cricket, and rugby from other parts of the world.

Robin Jellis, TV markets expert at Sports Business, told CNN that Kwese may have a challenge getting into the market, but it is planning to rival South African rival (DSTV) – who charges $40 to $100 – on the long term.

“Econet is expected to lose money on its Premier League deal, but it is a strategic move to build an association with the league ahead of launching Kwesé TV,” he said.

Sub-Saharan Africa is one of the Premier League’s fastest-growing audiences, with an estimated 276 million viewers tuning in each year.

That is no good news because what they Just purchased is matches that are supposed to be free to Air. What if they decision to sell it, now free to Air matches will be scarce on TV.

It's very possible unless something is wrong with your accessories. If you are sure your dish doesn’t have bends, and it's 1.8m then I suggest you get yourself eurostar lnbf just to make sure that problem is solved. Then if nothing happens, then change the plastic plate to glass plate and if nothing happens then you really have to adjust your dish as a final measure but I can't see you do all that and still complain.

You need to change your lnb. Look for Eurostar lnbf.

I'm using 1m dish but my signal is 71-73% I dey Anambra State. south east Nigeria. my lnb is scewed @ 8 o'clock when standing at the back of lnb dat is in front of your dish.

Have you tried Eutelsat 9e in Anambra and what is your result. How many channels appear?

Yes, it's still on but on 1.8m and above. No physical evidence or confirmation that it's trackable with 1m. 1.3m is a possibility depending on the type of dish and LNB you are using.

My MBC on 7w cracks during the day time @ 59%-60% and comes stable @ night by 61%.
I ve tried to improve the signal but it fails to go above that. I am using original dstv 90cm dish with strong short neck lnb and 4922a.

Please any solution to this.

Open the back of the lnb.

One of my guy that is living in my area said he is watching sport 24 with startime 1m dish in Abuja, i was so glad to hear that, thats means am clambing the roof on sunday to install the 1m dish inorder to watch sport 24 for the first time.

You can't be sure, I doubt that. Meanwhile no harm in trial. You can still give it your best shot but one thing is sure, it's going to be one of your hardest sat to track, you are about to defy science if you get it finally.

No, they don't, they only show Bundesliga, Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

Anyone who has tracked 9e with one metre, please specify the type of one metre dish and LNB used. Small details like this can help.

Forget it, with 1.8m you get 50-52% and cracks at 45%, why do you think 1m would do the same when 1.8m is basically hanging on the edge.

Yes confirm almost all the channels @eutelsat 9e.the inbuild account which is a test version open all the channels using internet connection.

What is the duration of the test account on alpha box?

tracking tp 11747H27500 TVT Internation with the highest signal.there are 13 powervu channels but watchable using 22a because it automatically open them free without using any key,sports movies included.U can also watch the rest of the channels using cccam account but if u are using alpha box u are free to go.More ever the larger the dish the larger the number of channels you will cover plus atleast 40 free to air channels with 1.8 dish.

90% on 4950h in equivalent to 83% on 4922. It needs to be better. I wonder if it worth it, some friends in Ghana complain about how difficult it is to improve it the signal to get those added channels and that is probably why I never bothered to try it. To improve that you have to try with 1m dish and see how it goes.

For that TP to show, you must improve your JOY TV signal to close to 95% on 4922 and that is why people struggle to bring it down here.

Of course six&Kix don't show champions league. Your best bet should be Sports24 and BWTV for both matches.

The Channel is from Turksat 42e. 11054 V 30000 for HD & 11096 H 30000 for SD. Looking at the footprint it will require 2.4m and above depending on your location.
