That means you must have gotten Aljezera and EWTN. If you are using srt 4922a make sure your EWTN is up to 77%, then do blind scan. If you find it difficult to achieve then you have to adjust your arc if you do that and nothing changes then it means you need a new LNBF, Strong preferable.

I am picking Lesotho Television on ABS-2 with my motorized dish 1m in Accra (11460 H 2200) but its not stable though! Cannot pick TING package at all. Anyone receiving TING package needs to give their location to help us as it could be on the MENA beam.

You are right because it seems like only East Africans are enjoying the stuff now.

Someone should try this Ting package on abs2 @75e with tp 11596v 30000. I tried with my motorize dish but wasn't successful. I have heard a lot of good things about that package.

They change their key every 3 hours. If you don't have auto roll decoder for it, then it's useless.

Which LNBF did you use as primary? I hope it's a bulky in size because if it is that will automatically affect the position of the secondary LNBF. The bottom line is this, if you can get above 60% on ABS3, getting & Eutelsat7.3w shouldn't be difficult at all.

pls guy i just nail sport24 with 1meter dish but the frequency is just comedown since in the afternoon 45% to 21% in the night, i use scalar ring and super max cband lnb pls help what can i do next.....

You can't do much, it's 1 metre bro. Anyway you can improve it via LNBF, look for Eurostar dual cband LNBF, last time I checked it was 4,000 naira but it will surely improve your signal quality.

After 3day tracking MBC on 7w i only got the following channels

Arryadia
Assadissa and co.

Still no green on mbc or al jazeera. i got ab3 easily. I have tweeked my lmb in every way posible.

Please, try to change the top lnb and make sure the dish is not smaller than 90cm.

If ABS is 78% then Eutelsat 7.3 is there for you to take. Look and observe closely the picture I posted on Sunday. It will help you.

I track ABS3 3w but there is no channel name, what am seing is TV1 to TV33 that contains the channels which is on that TP, am using srt 4922A with latest software and my signal quality is 75%, pls i want to know is it general, cos i track that sat last two weeks and the channel name was in place.

Those who tracked it earlier had the names but currently the names don't come out. The sat is still work in progress as few channels there are yet to be stable. Rescan daily, they will sort it soon.

@ chinedu.i tried it on dstv blue dish i succeeded in making abs my primary.and.attached ses 5 at d bottom but failed to get 7 west i tried and tied.where do u think my mistake is.my 7west was at d top right standing at d back of d dish bend it a little still nothing

If it's on 90cm then you should get Nilesat but you can change the LNB for Nilesat and see how it goes.

The distance could be too much for a 90cm dish. 5east and 7west together on 90cm will be a near miracle.

They are showing. Only MBC group 1-4 are Blank. The rest are showing.

MBC on Ses5 is Malawi's MBC, not the premium MBC package on Nilesat 7w.

ABS 3W & Nilesat 7W. Interesting observation. Please if you want to combine these sats with 60cm or 90cm, don't use combined strong, the 2-in-1, I don't mean the 2-way lnb because you will need to bend the top lnb which strong 2-1 won't allow you to. I wasted an hour trying to used 2-in-1 but it frustrated Nilesat's signals, MBC was cracking, BWTV & Aljezera couldn't come up because tweaking wasn't flexible. I decided to swap the top lnb and used cable to tie both lnbs. Tweaking became flexible and I got everything I needed, including BWTV and Aljezera. All stable. Primary is ABS 3W, attached is Nilesat 7w.

You should be talking about Hotbird not Nilesat. Nilesat with 4m fiber is bread and butter in Asaba. 3m is already good enough for Nilesat in Asaba.

Am using a srt4992a, planning on upgrading my software to enable me use power vu but before dat i want to learn hw to track Channels on my own, am using a motorized dish dat has been set already and all i need to do is input d frequency and start turning my dish but inputing d frequency and satellites to d one i see on dis forum is a problem.

the 4245 is the frequency while the 8544 is d symbol rate Dan the 'V' is for the polarization, if am wrong pls let me know but if am correct then d plc i need to input dis frequency on my decoder srt4922a has a decimal point which i can't seem to remove and d symbol rate has a decimal point too, dis is where my confusion is, becus no frequency on dis forum has a decimal point. And even if i jst input it like dat it will look like dis 4.245 for d frequency and 8.544ms/s for d symbol rate, which doesn't work. So


my brothers i need ur help here

You are right. You need to observe the decimal places. Your example is the way it will look. If you see 5 digits like 27500, it be 27.500.

If you are attaching lnb, then Apstar 7@76.5E should be on top of IS20 that is the primary lnb.

How do i go about my Apstar 76.5'east?i've tried with my 1.8m,after tracking 68.5'east i place the 2nd lnb on top to get Apstar still no avail.Pls somebody should tell me how to go about it.

First, I don't know exactly what the difference should be in figure but this is how to go about it. You need an adjustable bar to hold the secondary lnb (Apstar 7@76.5E). You can start the experiment from 5cm gap, remove the Dish bar holder to be able to swing up and down. Once you get Apstar, put back the dish bar holder and then adjust the secondary lnb up or down. Getting the Ark first is important as adjusting the bend of the lnb holder is the key. A straight bar hardly works when trying to place a secondary lnb 4 or more cm away from the primary lnb. It normally needs a slight inside-bend. Attached LNB actually receives higher signal than the primary lnb because it makes the dish bigger. I couldn't get AXN and Animaux above 60% with main lnb but got 65% with attached lnb, so I mean getting better signal quality won't be a problem. I hope my explanation helps you.

Not sure how easy it is to receive that Channel along with CSN Sports and BBC knowledge on Apstar here in Nigeria.

Pls anyone knows where Starmovies, TV monde et al moved to since the collaspe of Amos 5, ku band? It seems most are moving. But TVCnews is still showing and my decorder is indicating Amos 5, any explanation please?

Channels on Horizontal(H) are still showing only channels on Vertical (V) are off. That means that not the entire Amos 5 is down.

How important is this new 4922a software, is it too useful. Want to be sure before updating. Share your findings fellow forumist.
