Someone should confirm for if the paired My TV cards are still working. I mean a year old paired cards. I am aware new pairing isn't possible anymore on unofficial mytv decoders. |

The tv comes with a small satellite dish which I have already connected to the tv inbuilt decoder. I was able to pick about 4 religious tv channels and 5 radio channels. The dish looks to be at 68e, so what you will need to do, is to find out how to blind scan or input Tps on that TV. You will be fine. You can go through the manual or involve a more experienced person. You can list the name of the stations you got and the tp let me know where you are going wrong. |

abulude: I recently bought a smart LG TV with inbuilt satellite decoder. I was told at the point of purchase that I would be able to pick up as many as 20 free to air tv channels. Unfortunately, I have been able to view just 4 religious tv stations. . Please, can anybody help on how to pick up news and/or entertainment channels (sports & musicals)? I would love to view some local channels too (like AIT and TVC). I reside in Kano State. Thank you. You have to connect your dish first to the TV(decoder). For will need two different small dishes for AIT & TVC. You need to involve a satellite installer. |

Sammiluv: Pls my srt 4922a has been loading and going of with out displaying anything since morning what do i do or is it beyond repair? Remove the signal cable at the back, if it stops then first: check the diseq switch if it's still good, check the lnbs and lastly make sure all your terminals are in other, I mean make sure the outside light cable is nowhere touching the inner copper. Note: if you remove the signal cable at the back and it's still restarting frequently, then it's likely the signal IC is gone. |

ugoobest1: please hw do I nail dis 5e and 7e on a single lnb? I use 90cm dish Research has shown that this is easier on specific type of 90cm dish than some. If your 90cm is the old DSTV type then you shouldn't have problems. Again try to use Strong short-neck lnb. With these two combined, you should have trouble nailing both sats. |

abohwun: 16e central lnb 28e and 7e are possible on single 60cm dish. But on my own setup I have 28e&26e with one lnb and 7e&5e with another lnb with 16e been the primary 5 in 1 60cm setup. Yeah right but you won't get all the channels on 7e. |

davodyguy: Emmachile.
I do observe that after heavy rainfalls and whirlwind, dish do tilt and despite having programmed the positioned, one still get no signal or Audio.
I'll most times have to reprogram.
Do you guys experience that?
That's Lagos though Do you mean major reprogramming or just fine tuning? Fine tuning is regular occurrence with big jacked dishes especially Comstar Mesh. |

psucc: Attention Chinedu and all FTA gurus please help. With a single 60cm dish, there aren't much you can get, let alone getting all. For nollywood you need to track 7e, of course you need another dish not less than 90cm and a diseq. |

davodyguy: Thanks man.
I did oiling, but if it persist, I'll go for heavy duty jack. But a trusted and experienced pal told me on Friday that there isn't too much difference between our normal popular jack and the heavy duty one.
He mentioned that we have 16 inches, 32 inches and 42 inches. May be the 42 inches would be the option.
I have 3 LNB on it.
Cband 1, no plate for Sony etc Cband prime focus, for AFN Ku for 16e etc.
So jack starts from 68.5e and as I type now, it stops at 1.0w for AFN. I'm very unwilling to go beyond 1.0 west until tomorrow.
My team trails Madrid in the UCL and tomorrow is the second leg. After the match, I can give it a try, hence end of season, I can get 42 inches Jack 32 inches will be more than enough for the job. The bigger the jack, the slower the movement. I haven't used 42 inches before but considering how slow 32 inches can be at times, 42 inches will be frustrating. The thing is that the power unit which is the positioner has specific match for big jacks. You can as well buy both but the positioner is not always available so you will have to make do with your current positioner and get 32 inches super jack. |

davodyguy: @ Emmachile. I just returned from my dish now. I had to go 'oil' the bolt and nut cos the Jack sometimes gets stucked on the west and refuse to return to the east. Two things came to mi
1) Whether the dish is heavy for the jack to pull or 2) The jack is getting weak.
Would see the outcome.
Please confirm if you experienced same on your 3 meter dish back then If it was working fine before then there are few reasons why such thing can happen. 1. The jack could be stiff, needs to be oiled 2. Two of the 4 connecting cables clash 3. It can hang when it reaches it's limit if it's not heavy duty. 4. Low current can also affect the motor strength that moves the jack. 5. It could be that the jack is about to die. Do your troubleshooting but if you have to replace you better get heavy duty. |

Oromiya has strong signal strength, so it can show green even on Apstar 7 position. |

adimek2002: I could not get 1 degrees west with the same 1.8m pan I used for sport24HD in Anambra precisely Agulu. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? Please Mr. Chenedu help If you have bad alignment, it will be difficult because that is the centre of dish balance. My suggestion is this, since you want to track 1w, you can only use AFN TP to track and it's not too strong, so try this: Remove your cband lnb, replace with ku-band, track SES 5e with any frequency, when you hit green, maximize the signal strength, lock your dish base, and insert back the cband lnb, and drop it inches by inches towards the west, you are likely to hit green. |

psucc: Thanks.
I have just installed FTA and the guy used a 60cm pan with 2lnb to drop 2 satellites- Astra 2A,2B and Eutelsat W.
I am unable to get any channel showing English matches except Angel TV that is showing bundesliga and commentary is run in Ghanaian language.
My request is that you help me to make maximum use of the system to enjoy by educating me as I am a very sound novice.
My regards. thanks. Actually No, the 60cm dish cannot get 7e or 68e of another lnb is attached but you can add another dish for 68e where you can get Kwese Sports for one EPL match every week plus highlights and other sports. |

You must be in a kind of special place in Anambra State. Listen, from Anambra, Delta they are no go area with 1m. Are you sure what you tracked? Unless it's a miracle. You said the same thing then, I asked you to prove it, you couldn't. So let's end the story. It's not possible. |

Is it that I cannot get them on 1.8m in Anambra here? You mean Eutelsat 9e. Forget it, it's close to impossible with 1.8m in Anambra State though you can get about 3 tps but you won't get those that matter, you need 2.4m and above for that in Anambra state. |

CyrilGreat2: 4175 v 28000 is easy to track, from 34w lift ur dish up while standing in front, shift it right almost facing sky tnx Just want to add that the movement of the dish depends on the dish alignment, if a dish is properly balanced why the need to loose the base and shift. If you have a well balanced dish just move it up but if your dish isn't well balanced do this for easier setup. Remove the cband put kuband, track SES 5, with big dish it's bread and butter, maximize your tracking TP, lock the base, put back the cband and come down few centimeters, AFN will be there. |
