salford1: Yes. You shpuld have no problem bringing them across the airport.
I haven't seen a shea butter here, maybe becuase I do not use it. However, you can find all the other items here and may even be cheaper than paying for excess luggage. For the rice, just buy any brand of parboiled rice and you would be good to go. Thanks @Salford1 We are a large family. Our baggage allowance is about 8 23kg bags give or take. Looking at taking foodstuff that can be accommodated in that luggage allowance (maybe cargo yams and other stuff. We eat lots of yams) |

Thanks! Grateful for the information. iwillrejoice: Yes, you can bring in those food items. You can also get our kind of rice at different stores especially African and some Indian stores. |

Hello Seniors in the house. How's Cannyland today?
Please I want to know (and clarify) if these items can be brought in?
Yam flour Yam tubers Bean flour Garri Shea butter Indomie noodles
Also, can one easily find our kind of rice there (not the soft, mushy ones)?
Thanks!

If you're in Lagos, try out Alliance Francaise. It really boils down to interest in learning the language. It you don't have any passion for learning it, it will look almost impossible but, if you show enthusiasm, you'll view it as learning English. Also, being Bilingual gives you a slightly better advantage in getting jobs. |

etrange: Which one is LVO again? Is it required for Express Entry? Let's just say LVO is a prayer point that needs to be taken seriously. May LVO not come your way |
