I don't think they know best. They are just more mature and experienced. Nobody is perfect, therefore they do make mistakes too smtimes but it is their role to guide their kids. But smtimes, pple u call kids are just as smart and experienced these days. so, i won't say they know best. It's just their given duty to guide and lead their kids.

Yes, circumcision does hurt but it's done every where in d world after child birth, if am correct and it's a necessity. I don't believe tribal marks are necessities. Like i said, it's ur choice and nobody  needs any permission from me to do anythin'. who am i, huh?

I understand what u're sayin' but not in this age and time. those days are gone. yes, the man wears it with pride but the time when people do such things is gone. Like i said, some yorubas make fun of other yorubas with tribal marks especially at school, i know a few. But hey, it's your choice since u love it and it's in your family. do as u please but remember it has its side effects so u be careful.

So, u guys know it hurts a child, yet u do it. I once read this book where two yoruba couples got married. The husband's family were bent on givin' d child a tribal mark. The bride resented this sayin' that she doesn't want her daughter's "pretty face to be scarred" and that pple wld make fun of her when she's grown. Her husband wasn't in support of the tribal mark but he had to obey his family. At the end of the day, d baby was given the tribal mark and she started convulsing and died. so, it does have side effects. Like i said earlier, it's now old-school but it'd be crazy to see anyone still doin' it to their  babies.

This is hypocrisy of the highest order. Abeg, na which "old" men Halle bin date? at least she saw "old men" who wanted to marry her. More than I can say for Genevieve who incidentally is well known for her sugar-daddy moves (how old is she and how old is Atiku). The fact that she has been dumped does not mean she is not beautiful.
